Lying Cheating Scammers! Avoid Like The Plagues!
Do not book with this company! This company is absolutely ignorant of the current situation and do not have a clear line of communication with their customers. I booked my flights with these scammers, however due to the COVID19 pandemic the airline themselves have entitled their customers to ascertain a refund and waived cancellation/refund fees. t two weeks ago notifying their customers of the new refund policy. In saying that this company is now charging its customers a ridiculous 'service/cancellation fee'. Consumers are being forced to cancel their holidays due to COVID19 so why are we now being forced to pay as service? Will be taking this matter further to Fair Trading.

Horrible cheaters
I can reasonate with the earlier review submitted by Mounika as I faced a similar issue with Direct Flights. Wish I could give negative stars!
They emailed me on the evening of 23 April confirming that Qantas is now offering full refund for flights affected by Covid-19 and I could convert the credit voucher to cash. Pathetic!
Direct Flights are so ridiculous and their main target is to loot money from customers.
Due to COVID-19, my flights got cancelled and these guys are reluctant to provide me the full refund. They mention this so called term called Supplier charge just to loot money.
When I ask about the rules and policies, they try to fool you around saying the same thing.
I have written plenty of emails on the same and their response is not all genuine.
Why do customers have to bear those charges when airlines cancelled the ticket.
Never ever try to book tickets from Direct Flights.
I have lodged a complaint in consumer services. Lets see!

Complete crap - scammers - sold credit card details
Absolute crap from the get go. Changed our flights to a route that didn't line up... then to another which made us lose a night of accom which we had paid for. Told me they would call back in an hour, didn't. Ignored my calls the next day until I called from a different number. I made it very clear at that point that I worked in the travel industry, knew my right and would not be crapped over and made her change my flights while I waited on the line. Four months later we realised the credit card we paid with was receiving fraudulent subscription payments from bookblob.com and swdasp.com

Very poor service
Pretty much my first review of anything and its purely based out of disappointment of the service provided by Direct Flights. I had booked a trip to Sri Lanka through them for June, but as the flight has been cancelled and I got an email from the airline stating that a full refund voucher can be redeemed. However, Direct Flight still wants to charge me a service fee and they want me to complete the trip this year whereas the airline mentions that I have time till June 30th to complete the trip.

nd rude, they take a very long time to reply and they don't answer any of the questions. They just have some generic answers which are not relevant to your query. Tried calling them but no answer, and the one time they answered they put me on hold after my first question and never got back. I can easily say that I have never been more disappointed by a service more than this, which lead to this review. I would definitely advise again using Direct Flight for any kind of tours to anybody. Terrible
This company are just so so so terrible to deal with. 1. the people who answer the phone are not actually costumer service and cannot even help you with anything they just say " ok you need to send an email with your inquiry and the team will get back to you" 2. when they get back to you via email they NEVER answer your question, they send generic emails, copy and paste incorrect information, even lie about what options i have (eg they gave me incorrect information about emirates refund policy!!!), they give vague answers. What kind of travel agent is it if you cannot speak directly to someone who can help you ???
Never ever again. I'm sure they will go broke and they deserve it. I will definitely speak to ACCC and lodge a complaint.

Terrible customer service
Due to COVID19 crisis all my flights with ThaiAir- booked with direct flights- cancelled.
For weeks have been trying to get appropriate information by phone (impossible) or email.
Emails have been responded to with generic, conflicting ‘copy and paste’ style information from ThaiAir with no solution reached.
I understand these are challenging times, but the customer service and information provided has been absolutely appalling.
Will never book with them again.

Where is 0 star? I have booked my flight with Malaysian Airline middle of last year before COVID came and Malaysian Airline has agreed to change to any date as per their website! Worst customer service ever
Our flight has been canceled with the Covid situation and they couldn't tell me how to get refunded or get a credit (value: $3.6K). I've received the same automated vague answer to all my emails. On the phone, I couldn't understand well the person (strong Indian accent) and she didn't answer my questions but kept telling me "we'll send you an email later" (that was the last day to get the refund). When I asked to talk to someone else, she put me on hold, indefinitely...

Worst customer service imaginable
I booked with these clowns to travel to Ireland my holiday was cut short due to coronavirus. Trying to get In contact with them was next to impossible either by phone or email because of the lack of communication I was not able to change my return flight and had to pay another $1600 to return home. Even in trying to cancel my return flight and receive a credit has taken over a week and a half and still no help

Horrible Travel Agent
It was very bad on how they handled the issue. I had my flights to KL 3 days prior to Corona Lockdown in Malaysia, the situation was getting intense and of course they did help by answering email AFTER 3 HOURS then when i replied "OF COURSE" the business hours is closed. Then when i called they asked me to EMAIL THEM?? it kept going until the departure date and ofcourse its too late to do anything. Found these guys on skyscanners but I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN !!!

Terrible. No customer service
Made booking in November to travel at Easter. No problem with the booking. Then Coronavirus started and they would not talk to me on the phone or answer my questions by email. Every time I emailed a different person answered and noone actually answered my questions. Finally cancelled the booking last week and have heard nothing and they want to charge $170 per person to change the tickets....for a family of 5 that is a lot of money. I will never book with them again.

Prompt help and service
We booked flights with Direct Flights. Their prices were very good. And when we needed help on a recent flight during the corona epidemic they were MUCH faster to react than if we had booked with the airlines directly. In fact 19 hours faster.

Worst customer service experienced ever had. Be aware of their services
I was trying to change the travel date due to Virus issues in the Sri Lanka. Instead of doing the changes and listening matter the lady who answer the called was argue with me. Also do not responded to the email within the reasonable time. Always tried to avoid the solution for the issue.
Please check other reviews before make any reservation with them. Lot of other travellers had same issues. Keep away from this travel agent .

Worst travel agent
This is a worst travel agent. Airlines rescheduled my flight and ready to give refund also through Agent, but this agent not ready to give my refund. Talking like no manners and unprofessional. Customer support superviser is terrible. I request you please do not book this travel agent.

Worse travel agent - Cannot cancel your Booking
This is the worst agent to book your flights. our return flight date and time was changed and we cannot travel on the new dates given by the airline. therefore we requested to cancel our flight and asked for a refund. we cannot return on the new flight schedule as it was the following day. we checked with the Airline and there were no other flights travelling on the dates that we booked. airline was willing to refund us, but because we booked through an agent they said they cant refund us in this instance. totally regretting for booking with this agent. the customer service supervisor is terrible.will not recommend this agent to anyone and will lodge a complaint with the authorities.

Business class booking
I Booked Sydney to Santiago business class. Everything was done promptly and according to quotation. The etickets came through soon after I paid. I checked on my Qantas account and the flights were there and I did my own seat selection.

Most satisfactory
I found it easy to book a flight with Direct Flights. it was easy to contact Customer Service, which, to me, is very important. They were friendly, helpful and immediately available. I have not travelled yet, but don't expect any problems.

I sent.them.about 40 emails and called at least 4 times before they relented. They have the absolutely worst service I've ever encountered. All I can say is persevere. I submitted a complaint to Dept of Fair Trade which thankfully I withdrew today. Best of luck Mandy. You'll need patience and.persevereance

I've been chasing you guys (after you ignoring my emails of falsely promising to get back to me ASAP) now for 2 and a half weeks regarding refund for the tickets you sold me with now defunct airline (over $1,300). As a long term (till now satisfied) customer (I have been purchasing several times from you over the number of years) I find this appalling and I would at least expect you keep me posted about the process, next steps etc. I hope I will be hearing from you at some stage.

Ive had exactly the same experience with these guys. The service is terrible. Either they dont pick up their phone, or they tell you they will get back to you and never do.

Never have I ever...nor should you ever with any company...especially one you are unfamiliar with...not with flight network, BYoJet, momondo...not a one request this and say you can't have your tickets unless you produce them through an email AND after they take your money. I better receive a full refund and I certainly won't use them again
