It is truly an amazing dish washer.
More than satisfied, I love, love this Dishlex dish washer. It is so efficient and a time saver. Controls easy to follow. After 5 years of constant usage, it has never clogged, I have never needed to pre rinse. Never had to use a dishwasher cleaner, it is spotless and like new after each a full wash cycle.

Average performance
Got this dishwasher last year. It's pretty much ok. With good space for all kinds of dishes. The thing is it takes a bit l long time to wash out the dishes.

Functioned as expected for the first 3 years
At the 3 year mark we had issues whereby the cycle would stop and the end light would flash once, indicating low water pressure. Hoses and wire gauze filter where checked, no issues. Water pressure was confirmed to be above required spec. The cycle could be started again, generally if it stopped for this reason. Two weeks later I noticed an electrical smell and the sump pump running continuously. I turned the dial to off, but it kept running. Pulled the power and let set overnight, pump came back on when plugged in. Checked the main control PCB (At the back, base of unit) and it had a burnt surface mount capacitor on it... The price of a replacement board was ~ $250, which was not worth the effort. Can't say I would buy one again.
Purchased in March 2021 for $468.00.

Good but should have more space for bigger pots
Nice and the controls are easy to use, great options for loads, looks great in stainless steel, cleans very well, noticeably louder and i usually always rinse dishes prior to loading and I think this is a necessity, overall excellent dishwasher so far so good but should have more space for bigger pots

Would not recommend this model
I bought this dishwasher in 2015 and started having problems with it just after it's warranty expired. I have owned another Dishlex dishwasher which served me well for many years. Firstly there was an where bits of the plastics would just disintegrate of the inside of the machine. It became hard to start and had to be reset before a wash. Finally the main pump has died and was going to be an expensive fix so I have decided on another brand which is being delivered tomorrow. Seriously I would expect to get 7 to 10 years from a dishwasher not 3 to 4. Steering clear of Dishlex brand for awhile.
Purchased in July 2021 for $499.00.

The Dishwasher that doesn't wash dishes
Installed professionally 6 weeks ago. The dishes MUST be washed before they go in defeating the purpose of a dishwasher. If not, it never removes foodstuffs like breadcrumbs!! Can't remove rice residue, cutlery is a 50/50 chance. Nothing is dry at the end so it all has to be turned over etc and left with the door open or towel dried. I use Finish powder and liquid as the tablets coagulate on the dishwasher base or stay in the drawer. Spend a few more dollars if you want a dishwasher. If you want a dish rinser this will do that job!

Love it - it is very quiet and dishes come out sparkling clean
Love this dishwasher. It is very quiet when washing and leaves dishes really clean and sparkly. The product is easy to use with turning buttons and simple to read instructions. The dishwasher does not become blocked often. This is a good value dishwasher.

Best Dishwasher We’ve Had
Dishlex DSF6106W (White)
The push button settings are simple to use.
It is fairly quiet as usually put it on at night.
I’ve always rinsed the dishes first as all that yuck still goes down the drain.
I use Fairy platinum tablets and Finish Rinse Aid.
Dishes, Pots, Pans etc... are dry and shiny.
Had other more expensive dishwashers like Bosch and this is far better and a lot cheaper.

Have I got a 'lemon?'
After a whole lifetime spent without a dishwasher, three years ago I gave myself a cheer-me-up gift following the passing of my beloved partner of forty years: a complete kitchen renovation which included new appliances. The result was amazing! I love cooking and baking and just walking into this bright new space brought joy to my heart. The new dishwasher didn't get much use over the next couple of years, but I was grateful for its presence when family and friends came to dinner thus saving me a big clean up job. All was well until it suddenly...Read more
stopped working...just after the 2 years warranty had expired. All up it had been used under 10 times! When I called Electrolux's customer department, they agreed that it had proven to be a poor result for my investment and agreed to have a service technician come to fix it. Two inside electrical panels were dutifully replaced at no cost and I my kitchen was complete again. I truly thought that was the end of the story. One more year passed and, once again, my dishwasher has ceased to work. Of course the 'right' time to discover this was when I had dinner guests and was left with a pile of dishes to do. The cumulative use over the three years has been under 20 times. I did call Electrolux once again and this time I didn't find them overly eager to assist. The guy I spoke to was very polite and suggested I call their service department to have a look at the machine because the parts replaced last time may (or may not) still be under warranty. Personally, and keeping in mind I know little or nothing about dishwashers, it seems to me the problem is different from the previous one, but...what would I know? The local Electrolux Service people told me they had no jobs coming up in my area, but would call in when they did (no urgency there!) By this time I am feeling a bit lukewarm about my dishwasher's overall performance and its ability to deliver what it promised to do: wash the dishes when I want them washed! What should to do now? Is my dishwasher a 'lemon?' Should I ask for a complete replacement with something that actually works every time I need it? I manage my very limited income judiciously and I cannot afford to waste it. I believed Electrolux was a reliable brand: unfortunately this is no longer the case.Similar opinion? Affordable, serves its purpose, but not as good as the last one
This is my second Dishlex dishwasher. The previous one lasted about 12 years, and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped since then. You might wonder why I give it 4 stars in that case, but the reason is this: it's a useful little dishwasher that gets the job done, and it was cheap to buy. So, for the price, I'd probably buy it again, in spite of the disappointments.
These are the things that disappointed me:
- the wire the drawers are made from is thinner and not as rigid - feels flimsy, and I'm not sure I'll get anyw...Read more

First dishwasher I've owned and very happy with it.
This is the first dishwasher I've purchased and I'm very happy with it. The slimline one in the house I moved to didn't work well and the parts were so expensive I decided just to buy a to new dishwasher. After much research I decided on the Dishlex. As it's just me I didn't need a big dishwasher but all the small or slimline models were very expensive. The Dishlex had an economical 'half load' function and that's what sold me in the end. I've mainly used the 'half load function' and the eco 50 wash together and for normal loads it does a ...Read more
great job, but there are still some stains on the inside of coffee mugs. I tried the heavy soil 70 wash and wow - it did a great job. I had mixing bowls and a pyrex dish with baked on lasagne and they were all spotless, and the coffee mugs were immaculate too this time. I'm getting used to loading it as soon as I've used something and then doing a full load every couple of days. It's nice not having a sink full of dirty dishes and I don't know how I managed without a dishwasher before, this is so much easier and tidier. It's very quiet too - I kept checking it was actually on for the first month! BTW, I got it online from Home Clearance (Appliances online 'scratch and dent' outlet) for a great price too! UPDATE DECEMBER 2022 - I changed detergent and now have spotless dished every wash, no matter what wash cycle I use, so I increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars.Purchased in April 2021 at Home Clearance.

Works well
This is a good budget dishwasher and works well as long as you scrape all food scraps from your dishes. It has the half load function for light use.
Owning this dishwasher for over 2 years now, I find that only 2 settings work best - the eco 50 degree or the pot/heavy duty 70 degree setting:
- The eco 50 works best for fresh, lightly soiled dishes. It consumes the least amount of water and electricity. When finished, dishes are not completely dry though.
- The 70 degree setting works better for heavily soiled dishes. Dishes are dry when finishe...Read more

Great dishwasher, good value for money.
We've had it for 2 months now and works pretty well. Upgraded from a Technika (the worst dishwasher in the history of dishwashers), which was what was put in by Porter Davis when they built the house. Its pretty quiet and cleans dishes very well. No need to rinse any dishes. Only thing is the rinse aid dispenser. I just need to work out how to tell how much rinse aid it uses to know how often to top up. Other than that, we are loving the machine and very happy with it. It does sometimes leave one or 2 cups wet, but we usually open the door after it's finished and this helps with the drying. Great value for money and would recommend to anyone.

Good value, not much space.
Works well to clean and dry dishes when they have been rinsed before putting them in. Good value, it is just a but small on the inside compared to my previous dishwasher that fit into the same space.
