Excellent quality with low price!
I'm very happy with my purchase. Dishlex dishwasher is a true example of low price high quality product.
It is a good value of money product. I recommend to buy the same.

Functioned as expected for the first 3 years
At the 3 year mark we had issues whereby the cycle would stop and the end light would flash once, indicating low water pressure. Hoses and wire gauze filter where checked, no issues. Water pressure was confirmed to be above required spec. The cycle could be started again, generally if it stopped for this reason. Two weeks later I noticed an electrical smell and the sump pump running continuously. I turned the dial to off, but it kept running. Pulled the power and let set overnight, pump came back on when plugged in. Checked the main control PCB (At the back, base of unit) and it had a burnt surface mount capacitor on it... The price of a replacement board was ~ $250, which was not worth the effort. Can't say I would buy one again.
Purchased in March 2021 for $468.00.

Would not recommend this model
I bought this dishwasher in 2015 and started having problems with it just after it's warranty expired. I have owned another Dishlex dishwasher which served me well for many years. Firstly there was an where bits of the plastics would just disintegrate of the inside of the machine. It became hard to start and had to be reset before a wash. Finally the main pump has died and was going to be an expensive fix so I have decided on another brand which is being delivered tomorrow. Seriously I would expect to get 7 to 10 years from a dishwasher not 3 to 4. Steering clear of Dishlex brand for awhile.
Purchased in July 2021 for $499.00.

The Dishwasher that doesn't wash dishes
Installed professionally 6 weeks ago. The dishes MUST be washed before they go in defeating the purpose of a dishwasher. If not, it never removes foodstuffs like breadcrumbs!! Can't remove rice residue, cutlery is a 50/50 chance. Nothing is dry at the end so it all has to be turned over etc and left with the door open or towel dried. I use Finish powder and liquid as the tablets coagulate on the dishwasher base or stay in the drawer. Spend a few more dollars if you want a dishwasher. If you want a dish rinser this will do that job!
Purchased in August 2021 for $499.00.

Best Dishwasher We’ve Had
Dishlex DSF6106W (White)
The push button settings are simple to use.
It is fairly quiet as usually put it on at night.
I’ve always rinsed the dishes first as all that yuck still goes down the drain.
I use Fairy platinum tablets and Finish Rinse Aid.
Dishes, Pots, Pans etc... are dry and shiny.
Had other more expensive dishwashers like Bosch and this is far better and a lot cheaper.
Purchased in March 2021 at The Good Guys Physical store for $598.00.

Have I got a 'lemon?'
After a whole lifetime spent without a dishwasher, three years ago I gave myself a cheer-me-up gift following the passing of my beloved partner of forty years: a complete kitchen renovation which included new appliances. The result was amazing! I love cooking and baking and just walking into this bright new space brought joy to my heart. The new dishwasher didn't get much use over the next couple of years, but I was grateful for its presence when family and friends came to dinner thus saving me a big clean up job. All was well until it suddenly...Read more
stopped working...just after the 2 years warranty had expired. All up it had been used under 10 times! When I called Electrolux's customer department, they agreed that it had proven to be a poor result for my investment and agreed to have a service technician come to fix it. Two inside electrical panels were dutifully replaced at no cost and I my kitchen was complete again. I truly thought that was the end of the story. One more year passed and, once again, my dishwasher has ceased to work. Of course the 'right' time to discover this was when I had dinner guests and was left with a pile of dishes to do. The cumulative use over the three years has been under 20 times. I did call Electrolux once again and this time I didn't find them overly eager to assist. The guy I spoke to was very polite and suggested I call their service department to have a look at the machine because the parts replaced last time may (or may not) still be under warranty. Personally, and keeping in mind I know little or nothing about dishwashers, it seems to me the problem is different from the previous one, but...what would I know? The local Electrolux Service people told me they had no jobs coming up in my area, but would call in when they did (no urgency there!) By this time I am feeling a bit lukewarm about my dishwasher's overall performance and its ability to deliver what it promised to do: wash the dishes when I want them washed! What should to do now? Is my dishwasher a 'lemon?' Should I ask for a complete replacement with something that actually works every time I need it? I manage my very limited income judiciously and I cannot afford to waste it. I believed Electrolux was a reliable brand: unfortunately this is no longer the case.Similar opinion? Affordable, serves its purpose, but not as good as the last one
This is my second Dishlex dishwasher. The previous one lasted about 12 years, and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped since then. You might wonder why I give it 4 stars in that case, but the reason is this: it's a useful little dishwasher that gets the job done, and it was cheap to buy. So, for the price, I'd probably buy it again, in spite of the disappointments.
These are the things that disappointed me:
- the wire the drawers are made from is thinner and not as rigid - feels flimsy, and I'm not sure I'll get anyw...Read more

Cheap nasty plastic junk!
Whilst it achieves it's primary aim of washing dishes, I am quite concerned that even though it has been with us only a few months, it is going to expire.
The racks feel like they are about to fall apart, they are loose and just feel fragile. This dishwasher must have been designed by someone who has never actually used a dishwasher! The door when fully open doesn't lay flat, so the bottom rack is continually trying to retreat back into the washer (maybe it just doesn't like having dirty dishes on it?). The top rack - wow- the guy who designed...Read more
this needs to go into a 12 step programme - capacity for 20 wine glasses? Maybe half a dozen at a pinch are all that is required. This seriously restricted the amount of stacking space so we took them out. When the door is closed, you're never actually quite sure if it is - it doesn't sit flush with the external surrounds, and it just feels like it's ready to pop open again. It has one advantage - it actually does wash the dishes, and quite silently at that. Too silently - it doesn't tell you when it's finished it's cycle. Not a big problem, but a little self satisfied beep to say it's finished would have been nice. Basically, if you are buying a dishwasher for yourself, look elsewhere. If you have an investment property and want to put in a dishwasher that is going to annoy the bejeezus out of your tenants, this one is perfect!Purchased in December 2021 at Harvey Norman.

Excellent Dishwasher
Very happy with this dishwasher, very quiet operation, cleans perfectly. Good range of operating options and the half load option is good for just two people. The filter is easy to access and clean. The unit was simple to install. It has a good variety of racking options for different size dishes and the wine glass holders do not allow the glasses to fall loose. An excellent dishwasher for an excellent price.

Horrible job but with the Dishlex it’s so much easier
This is the second Dishlex for this house and my third Dishlex I have had and installed, I purchased a meant to be better brand German dishwasher however it never seemed to be satisfactory like my previous Dishlex machines, so I went and bought another Dishlex and have not looked back, I have to say these Europe made machines are really good and when the time comes I know what my next dishwasher will be.

Great Dishwasher
Perfect Dishwasher for our family. We had our last one for 8 years, so the decisson was simple when we had to purchase one for the new kitchen, it was Dishlex. The old one, still working fine, went to the work cottage. Its easy to use, only has a couple of settings so kids can pack and start it with ease. Large internal space, fits pots and pans well. Happy to keep purchasing Dishlex, oh they also give lovely Dishwashing samples to get you started.

Poor Design
The dishwasher operates very quietly and effectively, very satisfactory. BUT there is a basic design fault relating to the top rack. The tube located under the upper plate rack supplying water to the upper spray arm is too close to the bottom of the plate rack. Any plates put in the rack where the tube is do not sit down securely in the rack meaning that only half of the upper plate rack can be used. There appears to be no damage to the rack or the tube so I can only assume its a design problem.

cleans really well & is quiet
Has many different cycles to choose from, and a good quick cycle.
It is easy to keep clean inside and out.
The dials are great as I prefer them to the touch pads as they seem to wear out.
It is quiet and cleans everything really well.
have had it for 3 years would buy it again,

BEWARE Electrolux refuse to fix or replace faulty dishwashers still under warranty!!!
Avoid buying Electrolux appliances as they go to great lengths, in turn breaking the law to avoid fixing or replacing faulty appliances that are still under warranty. There has been a major fault with my Electrolux dishwasher pumping dirty water back into the dishwasher hours after the cycle has finished for several months now, but Electrolux keep sending out service technicians who can't fix it and they refuse to replace it even though it is under warranty. They have now sent three service technicians who have all given conflicting explanatio...Read more
ns for the fault and not one of them have been able to fix it. The problem is presently unresolved with Electrolux appearing to be making up excuses until my warranty runs out. The first technician they sent said it just needed to be flushed out. That didn't work as dirty water came back into the dishwasher the next day and the problem continued. The second service technician they sent said the plumbing needed to be changed to suit this dishwasher (even though it had worked fine for the first year and the dishwasher before that worked for years with the existing plumbing!!). I paid my plumber $165 to make the plumbing changes that Electrolux suggested, so they no longer had a excuse, yet the problem continued. My plumber has advised the dishwasher is faulty and needs to be replaced. I called Electrolux again and requested that they replace the dishwasher, as it still isn't working properly after two service calls and after I spent money changing the plumbing, as per their serviceman's strange advice. Plus my plumber had confirmed it is faulty. Electrolux customer service staff told me they can't replace it and said they would have to send a third technician to look at it!!!! Unbelievable !!!!!!!!! Why should I have to keep being inconvenienced and have my time wasted when it should have just been replaced! The third service technician advised he couldn't fix it and that I still need to change more of the plumbing!! He said.... "The old dishwashers used to have an external stopper which may have been stronger than the ones they use today, which might be why the problem only appeared now. He said the one they have now is weak and isn't meant to hold water for very long." I have never heard such utter nonsense. Electrolux are asking customers to pay a plumber to adjust their existing plumbing to compensate for Electrolux's "weak external stopper'!! I wrote an email to Electrolux customer service requesting a replacement dishwasher 3 days ago, but I haven't even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement of my email!! I am now in the process of lodging a claim with VCAT against Electrolux to get my money back because they refuse to replace their faulty product. They hope customers with faulty products give up at this stage. I'm not going to let them get away it. They are breaking the law by refusing to replace a faulty item that's still under warranty. I went through a very similar issue with a faulty Electrolux washing machine several years ago. Never gain will I buy an Electrolux appliance. They have the most appalling customer service in regard to avoiding replacing faulty appliances. Steer clear of any product made by Electrolux, it's not worth all the headaches and inconvenience you will get if you cop one of their faulty appliances!!! Pay a bit more and buy a better brand.1 comment

Great value
We've had the dishwasher now for eighteen months without any issues, very reliable. Crockery configuration is a little unusual but good value machine that hasn't had any issues. Bought it from appliances online and delivered next business day and installed as well as took away the old machine. Highly recommend

Best dishwasher
I would highly recommend this dish washer. It leaves the dishes and pots and glasses super clean and does it in no time at all. You cant hear it when it is on and it is super easy to use. It has plenty of room inside for large pots or dishes I would definitely recommend this model.

Simple for first timers..
I am not exactly experienced when using a dishwasher but this appliance is fairly easy to use. What a blessing....a must in my kitchen from now on. I havenit tried the semi wash yet, but I have not had any problems with usage considering it was fairly competitive in price compared to others.

Good product
After the disaster with a Bellini dishwasher, which was rubbish. This dishwasher is quiet, cleans well and any issue parts are readily available. It also looks good in my kitchen. Well done dishlex on a great value for money product. I would certainly recommend this to family and friends. The one thing that sold me on purchasing this model was the selection of cleaning options. I’ve tried them all and all cycles did a very good wash. A good buy all round!
