Pretty good, not brilliant. Does the job
Cleans surprisingly well for a cheaper dishwasher model. Runs relatively quietly.
The ECO setting doesn't dry the dishes very well, however. And tends to leave a bit of detergent residue. Just go with the standard wash and you'll be happy.
This was bought a couple of weeks before settlement of a property I just bought. The owner replaced the previous one that blew up during settlement. Was very nice of them, but I would have replaced it with one with more features.
Still quite impressed, and won't be replacing it.

Not so quiet, knocking noise......
Reviews seems to give the impression this machine is whisper quiet. Have to disagree on that point. Out of the box, initially thought it was protruding utensils or crockery hitting the spray rotors but ran a few tests with empty machine with same result......knocking noise. Very reserved about whether this would be my brand choice for a replacement.
Still can't ascertain if it is the top rotor or lower causing this distracting audible noise.
Other than the above, machine functions as we would expect in this price range.

Nice and quiet
After 10year I’ve got a new kitchen and upgraded my appliances the dsf6106x is nice and spacious and runs very quiet so when you set it to go before bed you don’t hear a thing it even turns itself off unlike my last one that made the pipes bang every time it started the water going through
The bottom tray for plates is set out really well so I can get a lot more dishes in there and easy to clean

Stopped working
This dishlex dishwasher only lasted for 2 years then it became blocked. It is not the best dishwasher I've ever used, as the racks always fell over when you put in dishes or cutlery. Which was very frustrating putting them all back up all the time. The only dishwasher tablets it would work well with were the expensive ones and in the end before it got blocked the door would always pop oven and never close properly anymore. I do not recommend this as a long lasting dishwasher.

best dishwasher ever used
I've tried all sorts of dishwashers as we are a huge family and I've gone from the top of the range to the cheapest and this by far is the best working and best value one that we have used. it cleans beautifully and it solid and reliable. I would only use this brand in future.

The Glen Dimplex Australia Pty Ltd (Dishlex in Australia)
I purchased a Dishlex DSF6106X from my local The Good Guys in Maroochydore in 2016. I had also purchased an extended warranty through the Concierge Gold Service. In May 2018, I had an issue with the dishwasher that it did not appear to drain. I contacted the Concierge Gold Service and they consequently contacted the Glen Dimplex Australia Pty Ltd. The company were fantastic and organised a local company to fix my unit in a timely manner. Thank you Glen Dimplex Australia!

Great !
We bought this dishwasher to replace a horrible, noisy Nobel brand dishwasher we inherited when we purchased a new house. I was drawn to the Dishlex name, simply because they have been around for years and parts are easy to source. It’s so quiet, and it washes and dries really well. Easy to use controls which include a quick wash and half load function. Some of the wash cycles are quite long, but the results make up for it.
Definitely recommend this model.

Last dishlex we had 16 years no probs, this one is better as it does a load in 30 mins really well. Great price as well. Cannot fault it. It's fairly quiet and cleans great...glasses come up well, we are definately a dishlex family, my mum had her first one 16 years as well.

Great value
We've had the dishwasher now for eighteen months without any issues, very reliable. Crockery configuration is a little unusual but good value machine that hasn't had any issues. Bought it from appliances online and delivered next business day and installed as well as took away the old machine. Highly recommend

Fantastic budget machine
I bought this Dishwasher about two weeks ago after my old one died (a 'Bassano', a brand no-one has heard of or wanted to fix). It fit neatly under the bench and I was able to hook it up within 5 minutes on my own. I find the machine very quiet on every setting, and there are only a few to choose from so it doesn't take a degree to use. The dishes come out clean, with only a couple of instances where something has not dried completely - but just leave the door open and let it evaporate and you're fine. The wash times can be quite long, up to 180 minutes for the pot cycle, but it's still better than washing up by hand in my book.

Best dishwasher
I would highly recommend this dish washer. It leaves the dishes and pots and glasses super clean and does it in no time at all. You cant hear it when it is on and it is super easy to use. It has plenty of room inside for large pots or dishes I would definitely recommend this model.

Easy To Use
Very happy with this "no brainier" dishwasher. I chose Dishlex because of the famous reputation and have been very impressed with the efficiency and ease of use. It cleans beautifully and without any fuss and looks nice in our modern kitchen. Controls are very simple and logical. Because it has standard dimensions, it was as easy as pushing into place and connecting up the hoses. This is a solid choice for anyone.

Simple and economical
I am always using the 30 minute washing program. The dishes, cups and glasses are sparkled clean.
Little secret. I am always removing the solids and the excessive dirt from the dishes. It is quite quiet during the wash. When rinse and dries is very quiet.
I love it because it is very economical and easy to use.

Simple for first timers..
I am not exactly experienced when using a dishwasher but this appliance is fairly easy to use. What a blessing....a must in my kitchen from now on. I havenit tried the semi wash yet, but I have not had any problems with usage considering it was fairly competitive in price compared to others.

Good product
After the disaster with a Bellini dishwasher, which was rubbish. This dishwasher is quiet, cleans well and any issue parts are readily available. It also looks good in my kitchen. Well done dishlex on a great value for money product. I would certainly recommend this to family and friends. The one thing that sold me on purchasing this model was the selection of cleaning options. I’ve tried them all and all cycles did a very good wash. A good buy all round!

Simple and easy.
We purchased a new dishwasher middle of last year. My dishes all come out super clean. We do use Finish Quantum which helps. The dishwasher is relatively quiet and we often set the timer to run late at night.
The draws are sturdy and easy to handle. The filter never clogs.
Definitely a washer I would recommend. Its simple to use and has a quick wash which still leaves dishes spotless .
Happily biy another.

Dishhhhhlex - it really is so quiet
We decided on a moderately priced dishwasher so therefore it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like electronic buttons and displays. There is only a dial which sets the wash cycle that you want (for example, half wash, eco wash, pots and pans etc) and two buttons of which one is to start the cycle selected. Most days we use the eco wash which washes at 50C for 2.5hours. Not sure how economic this is when it is running for 2.5hours but according to the handbook it is the one that uses the least electricity/water combo including the half wa...Read more
sh! Would have preferred a shorter cycle that was just as economical to run. The dishwasher really is so quiet to run, it's really impressive. Sometimes I have to put my ear against the machine just to check that it really is running. If you forget a dish, or a piece of cutlery you can open the door and it will start up again after closing the door. The cutlery basket is very bulky and has slots for each piece of cutlery so it can sometimes be a waste of space if you don't have much cutlery. If your cutlery handle is slightly bulky, or you want to clean tongs etc it will not fit in the basket either which can be a bit annoying so I have to place in the top drawer on the upper shelves along the sides of the top basket.Similar opinion?
