Disgraceful customer service
If I could give zero stars I would, ordered a PlayStation 4 controller online for my sons Christmas present on the 01/12/19, was given an online booking reference and did not hear anything until 10 days later when I received a call from Harvey Norman gosford, stating they had my item and will process the order (10 days after they charged my credit card) they never provided me with a tracking number which I thought was odd, and when I didn't hear from them for another 2 days I called back only to be told they couldn't Find my order even with my ...Read more

I kept calling back and was eventually told to call Harvey Norman online to chase the order, and when I got through to them they told me that harvey Norman auburn had the order. When I called the store and asked if I could come in store to pick up what I purchased as I was in panic mode thinking the item would not get to me before Christmas, I was told that they were processing my order (3rd time) and will email me the tracking number (never came). When I didn't receive a response again I called Harvey Norman online, only to be told that they emailed me saying they will be refunding my money (never got an email) so when I told them I spoke to the Auburn store where they told me they had stock left, they told me they would call them and get back to me. To my surprise I received a phone call the next day saying they were happy to send out another controller of a different colour to me and would be happy to give it to me for what I paid for it on the date of purchase (they were all the same price). When I told them I wanted this particular colour as its my sons favorite I was told there was no stock available, given all the excuses under the sun and that they will do what they can to complete the purchase. At the time of writing this I still have not had a return call which was promised not have I been refunded money. End result my son will be missing out on his gift, and if Domayne/Harvey Norman were as quick at solving problems as they are at processing payments this would not have happened. Appalling Service !
I ordered a rug online which in itself was a horrid process..... cost $99 for delivery as I was unable to select the pick up in store method. Paid for an iPhone 6S - order cancelled, TWO MONTHS later no refund
I bought an iPhone 6S Plus online a month ago. My funds of close to $500 went straight into their account. Two weeks later when it hadn't been delivered, I contacted them. They told me they tried to ring the number I gave them (our home phone) without any luck, which is odd since it has a message bank. id they hold on to my money and wait for me to contact them?? I've been back and forth with them for one month and still have no refund. I thought they would be like any of the other major retailers (Kogan, JB HiFi, Dick Smith, Harvey Norman) but their customer service is deplorable. I will NEVER buy from them again. If I don't get the refund this week, I'll have to seek it through the ACCC. What a nightmare. Shop elsewhere. Current update as of 2.1.2020. Now at 63 days and no refund. Scammed is how I feel
Went online to Domayne today to purchase a ceiling fan (which was advertised as being in stock and ready to ship). Order was placed and paid for online. Then received a call from my local Domayne store in Newcastle to say that Domayne do not sell ceiling fans and never have. Called the online franchise and was on hold for 2 hours. Sent an email that bounced back as invalid. Feel like I have been scammed. Called the Kotara store who basically admitted that I was unlikely to ever receive the order and they would do their best to help me. Stay away from Domayne online.

Avoid ordering through Domayne online
I ordered a Breville mixer, online through Domayne - easier enough. I had a follow up call the next day to confirm the delivery details. All good so far. But from there on it all feel apart. Two weeks later the item still hadn't been delivered despite being told it would arrive the week I ordered it. I had to repeatedly chase Domayne to find out where the parcel was, no one knew. After chasing the regional Domayne employees again I finally discover the couriers didn't want to deliver the item to the address (country area - outskirts of Byron) - too far out, apparently. The parcel was sitting in a warehouse. In the end we had to drive into Lismore to collect it despite paying a delivery fee, and Domayne didn't offer to refund the delivery fee. Appalling service. No after sale service
Quick to take your money; incorrect product advice given; ignore your emails; somehow sidestep Fair Trading. Sir Harvey, you need to deal with this circus. In the meantime, recommend shopping at Target who have no drama returns.

Great customer service
I had a great experience for the first time with Domayne in osborne park. The prices they offered was reasonable and I could buy a lot of new things for my new house. I also got the bonus of 18 wine bottles which is so exciting when I receive them. Raj is really friendly and helpful as well as the other staff which made my last item free delivery. Extremely recommended.

Tried twice with live chat and no one was willing to match a price, false advertising.
Live Chat were unhelpful and were not willing to assist with a price match as per their website states, they weren't willing to google the website that had the item for a lesser price. The vacuum cleaner Shark NV800 which they were selling, was $120 more than other stores.
Their loss, because I had a few toys in my cart which I cancelled, and will happily buy from stores that want my business.

Customer Service? Domayne never heard of it
I have called on 5 separate occasions to sort out credit for a product.
It's been hell. Seriously - I hate writing reviews but feel like I can save someone from experiencing what I have. I've spoken to the Whatsapp chat which is disgusting and rude - I'm just a normal nice guy needing credit for something that never arrived yet ive paid for? *update* It's was delivered back to Domayne & finally sorted after multiple attempts

Customer service is a joke
Only used due to store credit. Price matching took half an hour through their live chat. I received an email the next day stating the item is back ordered with no estimated delivery date. The site advises that live chat should be open, but there does not appear to be a way to access it.
Why's there no inventory management?
To contrast, I ordered from Amazon. The item arrived the next day.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. We ordered and paid for a TV online 4 days ago and still have not received a receipt or confirmation of our order. We sent a message to their 'customer service' team via the contact us page 3 days ago... no response. Very sub-par customer service
Two weeks ago I ordered a new computer through Domayne online. As far as I know everything went ahead smoothly and was just waiting for the confirmation email. Never got one. My credit card was charged but still no email. I filled out a contact form to ask about it, and after no reply I tried their online chat system. Haven't heard from them after ordered a week ago, no response for email enqiury & call center staff
Order a PC ergonomic mouse pad about a week ago, haven't received yet.

money Domayne outsourced their call center after they outsourced their entire furniture manufacture factory to China, and your furnitures will take somewhere between 3-8 weeks or even longer to make and ship back to Australia, so my suggestion is to avoid the arduous waiting period. Still waiting
Ordered a outdoor lounge suite online on 25/10/14, with my credit card charged at the time. I wanted to use the lounge for the Xmas period when we were having guests over. I was told just after the Xmas that the suite had finally arrived, that is only after I initiated contact mid December. Despite numerous telephone calls no estimation of delivery can be advised. next day! January 27th 2015 Update: Finally received my goods on 15 January. Funnily I received a call from Domayne the same day stating my order should be with me within the week. When I advised it had arrived that day the Domayne rep was very surprised. Again further disappointment when the actual colour of the furniture turned up in a different colour, instead of "natural" I received "grey brick", which basically doesn't go with the outside environment.
