Lying deceitful staff - COMPUTERS
More fool me. Went & purchased a laptop from Domayne Bundall some months ago and specifically asked for something with an SSD drive. So Jack convinced me to buy a Lenovo ThinkPad after I'd had myself set on an HP. Not being an expert and believing this liar I got the Lenovo. Well my new partner looked at it for me as the battery died recently, it doesn't have an SSD drive or dual drive as he promised. Its also 4gig not 8gig as promised, no wonder I've had so much trouble and frustration with it being slow. Well done Jack, you got me at a bad ti...Read more
me, trusting a salesperson whose exceptionally good at lying. Had I any idea at all, I would've taken the piece of crap back and thrown it at him. I will never buy from them again. Are there no honest salespeople left anymore?Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Do not let them pressure you into signing with Optus
Do not let them pressure you into signing up with Optus mobile. I went there to buy some shaver spray and nearly got roped into purchasing a new phone and signing up under a new plan with Optus right on the spot. The person that served me was Elijah. Extremely pushy, and extremely arrogant. I tried to politely say no thank you but he kept pushing me to sign right there and then. I managed to leave the store, although a bit shaken by the experience. That is not acceptable salesmanship. It's not a good reflection on the store when you have salespeople trying to pressure you into purchasing something.

Dont buy extra warranty on your MacBook
Pretty unsatisfied with the sales team. They uphold me a few years extra warrant on my MacBook when you automatically get 3 years warranty under the consumer law anyway (if something is broken). You can replace the laptop with domayne warranty but the only reason I would need to replace it is if the laptop breaks which they always seem to. Anyway, dodgy and wont be buying from you again.

can't trust staff
Im a uni student and I went in to buy my first laptop ive owned, anyway the bloke upwelled me hundreds and hundreds of dollars on stuff that I didn't even need that I found out later, I am appalled that some people can do that given the financial circumstances of a full time uni student

Awesome service from the manager Sam and his sales team Andy
We cane into your store in Saturday and had the pleasure of dealing with Sam and Andy.
They are very helpful and seemed to be more interested in making sure we get the correct advice rather than making a quick sale.
Me and my family appreciate good sales service because when it isnt genuin it means trouble down e track. Hats off to your team well done

Wonderful encounter with a salesman
I would advise shopping at Domayne and not bothering with the others. I was out doing some groundwork for a new lounge because my husband isn't well and of course he will need to sit on the lounge before we make a commitment. Unfortunately all the other shops in the homemaker centre were pushy and somewhat incompetent. Either not intersted because I didnt have my husband with me or not listening to me. Incredibly frustrated I decided to visit one more store which was Domayne. I didnt realise Harbey Norman and Domayne were related.
I met with a...Read more

No after sales service
I recently installed a Bosch pyrolytic oven from Domayne. The first heavy pyrolytic cycle I ran did a less than satisfactory clean. I visited the store to request a service call. The person I was dealing with was unhelpful and only logged my service call after I insisted that he do so. Over a week passed with no follow up. I contacted Bosch direct and found that they had no record of the service request. After another visit to Domayne and many phone calls later even to [name removed] the branch proprietor, I finally receive a visit from the se...Read more
rvice agent who could not resolve the problem. Domayne have not offered a resolution, even though the oven is not fit for purpose. a phone call to Domayne Head office was more frustrating, with the only person available being [name removed] from the furniture side, who was totally unhelpful. If you expect after sales service, Domayne is not the company to deal with.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very helpful staff
I also recently purchased a lounge from domayne in the fortitude valley in Brisbane. I was very satisfied with the service. I got a great price on a lounge that we were looking at for a replacement at home. The service from Ben was professional and friendly. Delivery was prompt.

Exceptional service of friendly staff at Bundall, specifically Laura Dodge. Fair prices. Thank you!
I would like to express my appreciation for a great service we had yesterday at 'Domayne', specifically to Laura Dodge. We bought a fridge, washing machine, two dryers and some extra things in your shop, because of Laura's service. Her service went beyond and above our expectations.. Very friendly Laura answered on a lot of our questions, had plenty of patience with us, showing a genuine interest in listening .. we went to other shop to compare prices and found products a bit cheaper than at 'domayne', but we were so impressed with the servic...Read more
e of Laura that decided to return back to her. At the end we had received more than expected, bought several items with great discounts (better than at any other shops) and she covered all our concerns with her great service, even organising an extra help for plumbing of our new fridge. Later we returned back for the extra thing to buy (another Dryer machine for our relative). We definitely will come back again. All your people are excellent, helpful and friendly, but Laura is exceptional, we felt that we were in sincere hands. Thank you very much for so wonderful people, who make our days, not even days, years.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Honestly all these reviews on the store is SPOT ON. All truths
I was going to say a lot about my experience with this store but it is literally the same thing with all these other reviews??? It’s amazing. They really are out of touch with their customer and just won’t get any better. They don’t learn. Which probably explains why it’s the emptiest shop in that area...
Bought a pair of wireless earphones that were “great”, “I’ve got one myself” and “are design to fit and be comfortable”. It literally fell off and got lost when I bring them out for a WALK. It’s really sad and terrible really, that’s not ev...Read more
en a full two weeks since I own them. Call them up and was told their products was great, “that have never happened to the pair I own” and that it’s “your fault our great products don’t work”. The solution was is you can get another pair at discount. So if you got money to waste and seeking a disappointing experience, come to Domayne Bundall! They will sell you a pair of earphones for $169, give you a discount to $139 when it’s a $129 product. And if the product design fail to work as promised, don’t worry! They can get you a brand new one at 2/3 the price you paid for, while letting you know it was your fault you bought into their words anyways! These aren’t design to fit, they’re designed to sell! So honestly, do yourself a favour and shop at Harvey Norman next door. They are cheaper, more honest, actually try to follow up on products that they sell. Other fun things when you shop at Domayne: they will try to sell you an OPTUS plan almost with every purchase. No really, they’ll spend an hour on convincing you. If they give you a gift card, it’ll be a goose chase to redeem the full amount. Shopping here is literally having to always be careful about what you wish for. EVERYTHING about this store will have a flip side or some sort of plot twist. It’s so frustrating to deal with them. So rarely do I lose temper with businesses since I know it’s hard on them too but GOD is this a bad store!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Dreadful service
We bought a fridge at the Bundall store, during the Sidchrome bonus gift offer. Salesman took $70 off the fridge and then refused to give us the tools because of the "bargain" fridge deal. Went next door to Harvey Norman to find the fridge for $300 cheaper! After a 20 min wait and a hissy, Domayne then price matched....and gave us the tools deal as well. We were told that delivery guys would unwrap the fridge, install the water cartridge and level the fridge. Nope. They dumped it and ran. "We don't have time to do that". Terrible service from start to finish. The first and last time I will ever shop at Domayne.

Excellent Service
A pleasure to deal with Domayne. Received fantastic help, advice & service from Christine of the Bedding Department. She knows her product & explained all the features of the various mattresses. She followed up the process of the order & ensured we got speedy delivery. Thank you Christine it was a pleasure being served by you.

No Anti-Virus for Apple Macs
I went to my nearest store to purchase an Apple MacBook Air for uni. The salesperson kept pushing the more expensive model (I wanted the cheaper model and bought that) and talked us into 3-year warranty for an additional price - which wasn't that cheap either. He also told us we needed anti-virus software for the mac and made us purchase a $300 Norton package (for 5 devices which was ridiculous) and we later found out from an Apple store employee that Apple computers don't need anti-virus protection!!!! Do your research before you purchase a computer from Domayne, I would only buy the computer and wouldn't spring for the 3-year warranty... just seems unnecessary.

Untrained rude staff
I bought a fridge just before boxing day and the salesperson told me if they have the fridge any cheaper on boxing day they would honour me the difference. I went back on boxing day and the fridge was cheaper than my purchase so I went up to the salesperson and he said that he would not do it. Long story short I had to get the manager to sort things out.

Domayne Bundall After Sales Service a FAIL
Bought an ottoman and as always they push you for fabric protection which I agreed to. When it was delivered, it was marked with what can only be the fabric protection liquid. I returned it to the warehouse as per their request and AFTER 11 WEEKS it only got sent to the supplier in Sydney to be recovered. So it sat their warehouse for 11 weeks. After sales service is a fail. Dont buy from Domayne, there are more trusted furniture shops to choose from
