I would advise shopping at Domayne and not bothering with the others. I was out doing some groundwork for a new lounge because my husband isn't well and of course he will need to sit on the lounge before we make a commitment. Unfortunately all the other shops in the homemaker centre were pushy and somewhat incompetent. Either not intersted because I didnt have my husband with me or not listening to me. I would never buy from Domayne again. We have brought a dining suite from Domayne at Fortitude Valley. We were told 6 weeks delivery and it ended up being 8 weeks (no biggy though). We paid extra for assembly of furniture, as we are inept. The side table has been assembled wrong, and now have spent all week with emails and photos going back and forth for them to decide on what the problem is. We brought a leather couch from Domayne, Fortitude Valley. We thought that we were buying for a quality store, and we did not buy a cheep couch so thought we would get years out of it, especially when we also purchased the five year leather protection as well,so you can understand that we were a little unhappy when after 12 months our leather was cracking. I would like to be able to rate Doymane’s products but they never delivered so I cannot. I purchased a coffee table from Domayne, with Doymane ensuring a two-week delivery. Six weeks later and I’m still waiting. Doymane are full of excuses, including ‘broken items’ and a nameless yet utterly incompetent “supplier” the typical reasoning for delivery failure. Why have a coffee table as floor stock if it doesn’t actually exist anywhere?
