A con to get referrals
My daughter referred me & her partner through their referral site & no reward as promised.
I'd never heard of them or used them before.
I call crap on the supposed referral program. Not using again out of principle.

Driver got "lost" for 50 minutes...
Food has still not arrived. It is over an hour late. I watched the driver on the map drive in the complete opposite direction for 15 minutes before texting him. He replied and said he is lost. I'm in the North and he drove West. Hard to believe he got lost. More like they are short staffed and doing multiple drops in 1 run. The driver is in Maribyrnong and I am in Pascoe Vale. Food was picked up 20 minutes ago. Will now take at least another 30 minutes for the driver to arrive. Absolutely ridiculous. No customer support team. Only support for drivers and vendors.

just ordered red rooster, waited waited and waited at least an hour, eventually had a livechat conversation with doordash only to be told that the shop was closed, unbelievable customer service did'nt even have the audacity to notify me, no text, no cal,l no email, i would suggest menulog way better.

Customer Service Sucks! People disconnect your chat session right on your face multiple times.
I ordered multiple times and they do not give genuine responses and neither there is a bit of customer service in the customer service department. They hang up on your face like you are just a F clown.

Slow delivery. Terrible non-existant customer service.
I watched my food sit at the restaurant ready for 30 minutes before being picked up. It arrived cold. I'm only 5 mins away from a huge food district.
Tried to contact support many times and was continually offered a $5 credit then case closed. Not acceptable given I will never prefer from them again.

Very very very poor customer service
Rude customer service, let you feel that you are lying. Uber eats much better and trust their customers. Doordash is just there to cancel your orders and put your money on hold. Then you need to contact them and beg them for refund. Never recommend. Better to pay uber delivery fee

Terrible. I strongly advise to avoid using this app.
Terrible service. My delivery driver was nearly at my house to drop my food off and was sent a text message saying to deliver the food back to where I ordered the food from. So he drives back. I call the driver to ask where he is and he tells me about the text. When he finally turns up to my house with my now cold food he shows me the text. Never using Foodash again

Worst customer experience ever!
Worst user experience ever.
I decided to try it, and I obtained an account, did an order, went to do a checkout, added my credit card - and when paying, it suddenly says no sorry, you need to provide ANOTHER credit card to check out, for "verification" purposes. Never in my life, have I ever seen anything so stupid from any service. Okey fine, I added another credit card and went to checkout, and it STILL didn't work - said that it "couldn't verify payment card" - whatever the hell that means. daily basis, there is no way there is anything wrong with them, and I even re-added them 3 times just to be sure. So I contacted their support, after waiting forever, the agent was totally useless and just repeated the same useless copy. What I got out of it is that I have to use the mobile app to "verify" the card by taking a photo of it, because despite the fact that I can create an order and checkout on my browser, nobody from doordash considered the possibility of anyone doing this, so there is seemingly no way to succeed unless you use their mobile app. So I had to download and use the mobile app and re-enter all my payment details through it and re-do the whole order, and only then it worked. This was a HUGE - absolutely HUGE waste of time, and the worst user experience ever. I've never heard of needing to provide a second credit card, and then the whole thing still failed even after that, I was so frustrated, legitimately took me 40 minutes including chatting to the support agent just to make what should have been a simple 2 minute order. The only reason I stuck through it was the first time discount. But I am never using this service again - bloody get a clue and look after the customer experience !Similar opinion? 45 mins wait for my order and ol mate calls me saying the restaurant was closwd when the app showed 5 mins ETA. Never using it again and recommend all to save your time and money.

Actions speak louder than words.
The delivery for me turned out to be surprisingly fine. Food arrived earlier than expected and was still warm. Driver drove all the way up to the driveway and handed me the food. Ordered Gami Chicken & Beer from around the Castle Hill area. I guess in my opinion, quality would depend on the particular driver as well.

AVOID AT ALL COST!
Honestly this is the worst delivery service i think we have in Australia, while the times are tough i have been trying to order food more regularly to support local restaurants in the area, it seems that the drivers find it hard to read the address and can guarantee almost every delivery i have had there is some issue finding the house or drivers that have picked my order up and then proceeded to go somewhere and be at that other spot for 25 mins (have watched this on the app that shows their location). mer service i have ever had, i sent a email to support over a issue which got no response so i had reached out via the online chat to which the "customer service" agent who was rude and proceeded to end the chat before i had a chance to fully explain the situation. No stars- no food and no service, absolutely CRAP
Condescending email and response from door dash telling us to make sure we are available for delivery when we were sitting in our unit the whole time. Allegedly the driver tried to contact us but there was no call or text to the mobile provided. An email was sent with a photo where the food was supposedly left. It was a picture of the street outside our unit! Who leaves someone’s food in the middle of the street! Disgusting non service, will never even contemplate using again and definitely would encourage no one else in Sydney to bother using them.

I’d give it a 0 if I could!
Upon waiting an hr for my food & checking the online tracker, I saw it said the driver had delivered it so I rang the restaurant who told me he’d call the driver. He rang me back & apologised on behalf of the driver saying that he left it on the ground next to my letterbox! I gave clear instructions that my apartment was opposite a private hospital and to ring my buzzer number or call my mobile which he made no attempt to do either! This is below standards by any means. Absolute rubbish!!!

Long wait and cancelled orders.
First time using Doordash here. Ordered food from a shop and waited for an hour for them to call me and tell me the shop is CLOSED. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered from another shop. After 10 mins, the driver called to inform that I didn't select any meat options for 2 of my order, when I clearly stated what meat options I wanted (note: the website won't let you continue with your order if you don't select what meat you want). ire about my order, only to be told that Doordash system is faulty and they can't deliver my food. So to sum everything up, waited almost 3 hours just to have no food. Driver left my food on the ROAD !!!!
Have used Doordash a few times without any issues except this time the driver instead of coming in the apartment decides to leave the food outside the apartment near the letterbox area. Only found it through ringing the restaurant that the delivery was left outside the apartment. Luckily no one had picked it up. This driver needs to be fired ASAP as these are below sub-standards of service delivery.

Ordered, restaurant cancelled the order, payment deducted from my account by the restaurant and now playing the 5-7 business days waiting game to receive a refund.
Doordash needs to review their processes if they want to complete with the leaders offering this service in the field.
If it was possible to rate less than 1 star, I would have.

Still starting out and not amazing
I used DoorDash when they first launched and deliveries were always late - I get that they are new and are working to build their driver supply side, but at least it coincided with a campaign where they'd reimburse you with a $30 voucher should the delivery be late.
I wish their customer service was a little bit better and would at least adjust the templates they wrote up so it is more tailored to my issue. For example, I had trouble using a promo code and was querying about the error message I received, but they then asked for the details of ...Read more
the account I used to place the order (should be a bit implicit that I didn't place the order as a result, and option 2 was they could look up the account email I used to reach out to them to see if I placed an order or not). Either way, their agents do not read through your past queries, so expect to repeat yourself quite a bit. Wow! Terrible.
Terrible. Absolutely terrible. All of these commercial delivery providers are terrible, its best to order directly with restaurant, all these online services are a waste of time. Independents are better at controlling delivery.

Fraudulent and Incompetent!
Their customer service reps are the most incompetent people you could ever deal with. They don't help, can't understand English and have no idea what is going on. This company operates in a fraudulent, deceptive manner advertising coupons which don't apply. The CS reps tell you to place the order first and they'll apply it, but then they go and add the credit as Doordash credits! NOT an order credit or refund. So they keep you locked into ordering from them and mislead you into parting with your hard earned money!
They should be investigated. If anyone would like to work on formulating a submission for the ACCC I would like to be involved. This is illegal and Doordash should be ashamed of themselves. DON'T USE THEM!

Looks like we are not the only ones that had our food left on the street. At least you got a courtesy email telling you where the food was, we didn’t even know he left it til I rang the restaurant. If you want to file a complaint, I’m in!
