Worked 7 years ago, not working now..
Took it 6-7 years ago, 15mg and only took 3 tablets in total (even did 1/2 tablets) over a span of 1-2 weeks. Lost 5kg in a month, kept 3kg off for a good 5 years.
I stopped coz the anxiety was driving me crazy and was satisfied with my loss. I'm not obese (skinny fat) but my cravings were out of control and I decided to try this. Also my liver isn't the best, I needed to reduce my belly fat to be healthier, it was a kickstarter for me and I took it responsibly.
I tried to take it again several months later but it didn't work anymore - somehow...Read more
my body built a tolerance only after 3 tablets! HOW? lol I don't take any drugs ever!! Side affects: I had anxiety, racing heart and could not stomach any food, no cravings whatsoever, couldn't sleep. Just recently got back on (15mg again) and doesn't seem to be working still. I'm on day 2 and have doubled my dosage, I am getting thirsty side affect (I think) not sure... I fell disheartened coz it worked too well last time, and I thought given that it's been so long, my tolerance would be new again.Purchased in January 2021 at Chemist Warehouse for $108.50.

It’s working!
I started Duromine 30mg 3 days ago. I have lost 700 grams since. Start weight was 107.9, today weighing at 107.2. I haven’t had any side affects other then more energy. I am almost 4 months postpartum so little sleep isn’t something new but I’m finding that when I wake I don’t feel anywhere near as tired as I was prior to taking. I am not doing any exercise yet, but being a new mum I’m always on my feet.. I didn’t overly suffer with over eating so the I haven’t noticed a suppressed appetite because I wasn’t a over huge eater prior but it’s defi...Read more
nitely helped with making me want to eat a bit better, and I haven’t had my usual cravings at all. I was sort of hoping for the dry mouth affect to help me drink more water but nope! Prior to taking I was a coffee a addict and would have up to 8 coffees a day, in the last 3 days I have only had 2 coffees, if this was the case before Duromine I would have a migraine by now, I’ve only had slight headaches but I think that’s more because of a crying baby lol. I also have cut down on cigarettes since starting, so overall I’m really happy with Duromine and I will continue, my goal weight is 90kgs by 1 year postpartum. However according to my BMI I should be 75KGS, but I also carry a lot of muscle mass as I was extremely fit and healthy before my pregnancy weighing 95Kgs and shot up to 120kgs before birth. Everyone’s body is different and will react different. Good luck to everyone thinking of starting Duromine, I hope your experience is as good as mine.Purchased in January 2021 at Unichem pharmacy for $83.00.

Fantastic weight loss starter
I read mixed reviews for duromine and a lot of nasty ones! So I was a bit cautious taking it to begin.
The only symptoms I have got was dry mouth and at night I went to bed later around 11pm - 12am. I always made sure I took duromine between 6-7am in the morning so I could sleep that night.
The pros for me was duromine turned off my brain for craving junk food when hungry - it is an appetite suppressant. I didn’t have any cravings for any food but healthy. And especially when I was hungry I didn’t think of it!!
also didn’t do any exercise ex...Read more

I want to take it another month and see how I go my goal is to get down to at least 60kg. Overall I didn’t have any bad side effects at all and I recommend to people needing that first kick up the bum with losing weight to try this.

Worth it
I was shocked to see I’d gotten to a weight I promised I’d never return to and no one (self, husband nor friends) noticed I was gaining (10kg in 9 months!). After visit to dr. I was prescribed these pills 30mg dose. I was told if any serious side effects occurred to stop them immediately. The first night I felt like I didn’t sleep at all but from then was fine (even able to take naps). I don’t feel the urge to snack, can control my portion sizes and find choosing healthy options easy. I did have really bad cotton mouth the first week (made it e...Read more
asy to drink heaps of water). Getting mild anxiety occasionally now, but not too bad. I’m female, 26 and 170cm. Have gone from 84.4kg - 78.8kg (-5.6 kg) in 2 weeks and 4 days. The goal is 70kg with meds and then just exercise and diet from there to reach (hopefully) 67-65 kg...my dream weight which has always felt so unattainable no matter the diet and exercise routines I followed. Have hit the gym a few times and done lots of walking...but nothing crazy. Had a few unhealthy options here and there (blame Christmas) but was able to stop and say I’ve had enough instead of eating all of what I’d been served (which I never used to do) I’ve been tracking my kilojoules intake and it’s been easy to stay in deficit every day while still having energy for exercise. I used to finish a snack or meal then be thinking about what to eat next (especially when bored, tired or stressed...you deserve a ‘treat’). I’m hoping this medication will give me the chance to change that mindset and stick to healthier food with better portion size once I’m off.Purchased in December 2021 for $130.00.

So far I've only taken it for 1 month but I have lost 3kgs. Would like to of lost more but my fault as I haven't stuck to my diet and exercise plan so I really can't complain.
Some side effects. Gave me a huge burst of energy in the first week but after that some nights I can't sleep till 4am and I have difficulty breathing almost like pre panic attack. I've also found myself picking at my arms and can't help it. I say to myself "this will be the day I won't", few hours later find myself doing it again. I think it's like a quirk or nervous tick that you just can't seem to stop. But I can manage it so far so I'll see what the next 2 months give which I'll give it my all.

Just started and already seeing some small changes.
Have only been using these for a week and I’ve already lost a kilo. (And that is only on the 15mg ones). So far I’m quite pleased with how they are going.
The only disappointing thing is the cost. Between my doctors appointment and the script last week I’ve been set back $180 :/ . I mean the script was $105!!! But I guess, if I’m losing weight then I can’t really complain :)
No side effects really. Apart from struggling to sleep for the first couple nights. But I’ve worked out if I take it around 6 or 7 in the AM, I still get a good sleep the next night :)

Losing 2kg a week and counting on 15mg
This product gets rid of your cravings and also gives you lots of energy. Im honestly amazed by the change in my eating patterns and exercise routine. You still need to be self motivated and work hard to see good results, I lost 8kg in the first month.
Yes it can keep you up at night but I found as long as I had an active day (gym, walking etc) I slept fine. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week.
I have PCOS and my goal is to get my BMI into a healthy weight range. I found my skin has cleared up since losing 10kg.

Duromine 30mg
I have had the full course of 3 months on Duromine 30mg. I take for 6 days skip a day & repeat the process. Ive lost nearly 20kgs by being on duromine 30mg & I loved the results. But you must regularly exercise & stick to a good balanced diet for the medication to work & drink heaps of water. I have been off duromine 30mg for 4 days now & my body is going through a lot. My body has sort of crash because of the side effects that you get from the medication, such as hardly any sleep, the suppressed hunger, the nausea etc, but the duromine does w...Read more

40mg 2 weeks in
At this present moment it's 4:06am 14/12/19 and I've had about 3 hours sleep since yesterday at 6:00am and now I'm struggling to sleep because of hot flushes and I'm just full of energy, I did take 2 duromine pills at 40mgs yesterday morning because I felt like 1 wasn't working (I'm no stranger to party drugs) i quit smoking about 3 months ago with willpower alone (9 year smoker) and i thought I'd tackle my 140kg 6'5 frame so I turned to duromine, this drug is not for the faint hearted someone described champix to me and I feel like it has the sort of same effect as that but a little more uncontrollable.....I can't tell you if it works for me I haven't actually weighed myself since I started taking them

30g for 4 mths
I have been on duromine for 4 mths and the first few weeks I had success and the side effects were too much to handle from severe dry swallon mouth and felt really sick, very poor sleep and I lasted for 11 days and then had 2 wks off and started again only to find I had no side effects at all as my body regcognised the drug and aloud it in my body again but only this time my sugar cravings came back and I was eating unhealthy again! In saying that I have stayed the same in weight and it gave me a lot more energy! Going to my doctor next week for a talk and to maybe stop or go on a higher does!

Great kick starter!
Hi all, i have had experience with Duromine over the years & have had success with it. The only problem is, once you stop & in my case, i pilled the weight back on!
I found that 15 mg & 30 mg don't really stop any cravings & a waste of time.
I found that 40 mg are the way to go & apart from dry mouth & initial sleeplessness in the first week, they work wonders.
This time round i started my weight loss regime at 128.5 kgs, but i did something different, i had 2 shakes from Aldi ( morning & Lunch) & a healthy salad with tuna & salad for dinner & ...Read more

So far it is proving very effective
I have only been on it for 3 days, and I have lost 1.1kg. I am like a hamster in a wheel. I have been exercising each day, because I can't sit still. However, I didn't sleep for the first 24 hours, second night I slept 5 hours (broken sleep). I have dry mouth, as a side effect, resulting in me drinking between 2-3 litres of water a day. I believe the water contributed to the weight loss.
My appetite has decreased significantly. I can not finish a whole meal because part way through I feel full and sick. My cravings for take away (mostly deep fried), have ceased.
I will regularly update this review.

I'm a 38 year old Male, my starting weight was 108 kg ( I didn't look 108kg ) .. I took 15mg 1 a day for 4 weeks and than took 30mg for 2 weeks every 2nd day to make it cheaper to use.. I stopped over eating and gave up all junk including soda just before I started. I lost 15kg in 5-6 weeks without trying. the only exercise I did was walk at night for 20 -25 minutes ( approx. 3km's ) . The side effects I got was anxiety after 3 days for 3-4 days, I Basically had this feeling of guilt & all my feelings of regret hit me hard for some reason.. ha...Read more
d a dry mouth, heart rate went up at times but nothing to serious, blood pressure wasn't to bad & it does kill your sex drive...( comes back after 2-5 days of not using it)..I stopped using these because I felt I could carry on without them, plus I didn't like the side effects & the possibility of getting more health issues down the track.. i.e Cancer...I saved $600 a month by not over eating and buying junk food...I've been eating more fruit & veg, more water ( even weak cordial ) nuts and basically no meat, I find I can get full pretty easy, eating a hand full of nuts can feel like you've eaten a whole tray of lasagne...im aiming to lose 30 - 35 kg..I reckon some of the people who use this and say it doesn't work I guarantee there still eating junk and not moving more....If you really want to change you will..I feel more energy and my mental state has improved, not grumpy & moody..I give this product 4.5 stars..my sleep was good, I have moderate sleep apnea ( that's why im losing weight ) and it didn't effect it and I felt for refreshed in the mornings, didn't have trouble getting to sleep, I took these no later than 8:30 am....before I couldn't get up in the mornings, but when taking duromine I could get up between 4 - 6 am feeling good...I now go to the gym regally after losing 15 kg's now im more motivated, specially when people comment on how much weight you have lost.. any questions I'm happy to answer them..Purchased in September 2021.

Best thing I've done!!
I started taking Duromine in July, weighing 111kg. I took it first thing in the morning and the only noticeable side effect was a really dry mouth & a drastically reduced appetite. I've just finished the 12 weeks and I've lost almost 24kg. I didn't increase my exercise from twice a week. I found I couldn't get through most of my meals and my sugar craving was pretty much wiped out so those 2 things also helped immensely. I am just beyond excited with the results and how much better I look now.

Fantastic! If you can get past the sleep
I have been on duromine on/off a few months here and there. I have lost almost 20kg, another 5-10 to go. It's fantastic really helps me curb eating habits and the sugar cravings. Takes a day or so to kick in for me when I start again. First week the sleep patterns suck but it's another thing that eases up after the first week. I find I'm more focused and have more energy for the day to day household chores once I'm finished at work. Love it.

A great kick starter for weightloss!
I took 30mg of Duromine daily for 3 months earlier this year. I had been having difficulty shifting weight in the year or two prior to starting Duromine, due to having many health hassles.
I had difficulty sleeping for the first five nights on Duromine, but after this point, didnt have any sleep difficulties.
I took my daily Duromine tablet at 6am, to ensure that I didnt have difficulty sleeping at night.
I lost 10kg in total.

Hi Guys, I just started taking Duromine this morning at 5:30 and I've been feeling like vomiting all day .
is this normal?

everyone has different side effects, that was certainly not mine.
I had anxiety, racing heart and could not stomach any food the first time I had it 7 years ago, that was on 15mg and I only took 3 tablets in total (even did 1/2 tablets) over a span of 1 week. Lost 5kg.
I stopped after 3 tabs and tried it again several months later and it didn't work for me anymore.
My body was way too sensitive the first round lol.
Just recently got back on (15mg again) and doesn't seem to be working. Only day 1 though, I hope it works tomorrow.
took my 2nd one at 6am this morning, but felt hungry when I woke up at 8, so took another one to double my dosage.. I'm SOOO sad it doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. Even after 7 years.
Do you take it after eating breakfast or before ? I took it at 5:30am on an empty stomach, I think that's the reason why I felt nauseous .

Hey guys, a few questions. I have just started Duromine 30mg yesterday, today is my second day, i wanted to know if anybody else has taken Duromine and not felt any of the side effects? i was mentally preparing myself to be absolutely off the walls busy busy busy or to have the bad after taste, or dry mouth? but none of that has happened, so i had questioned whether or not it is actually working? the only one thing i can say that has stopped me from doubting it is the fact that i am not nearly as hungry as i usually am, i consume under 1000 calories and sometimes forget to drink water or anything.
Exercise: Light to start with but a walk around the yard doing jogs or the exercise bike, Also a good amount of freestyle dancing with some of my crew. But i am thinking about walking today too, what is everyones exercise time frames?
Food: I have like 2 eggs (boiled or poached in water) on two slices of toast with a little margerine, salt and pepper with cup of tea. then that is about it till dinner which is just chicken cabbage and one potato. then another cup of tea. i drink 4 big glasses of water throughout the day and night. I just don't have the desire to eat much so i am assuming the pill must be working? but i haven't experienced any side effects so i am unsure if this is merely a placebo or if i need to give it time as it is a slow release pill.
Thank you kindly in advance.

I was pretty full of energy for about the first week felt like I had 5 cups of coffee. Everyone will have a different reaction but it is great you are feeling less hungry. That would mean it is working I have just started my 3rd month and I still eat so much less than before I started. I found i started getting dry mouth after about 2 weeks. If it gets to bad I find hydrolite from the chemist is great. You will need to try and eat during the day as you will get really tired by the arvo. I find almonds and dates help I normally just have a salad for lunch. For breakie I just have coffee and a smoothie. Good luck
Far out!! haha i need that boost of energy!! And yeah i am slowly realizing it affects others differently, i just forever see videos of people saying they had the dry mouth and bad taste, or the bouncing off the walls haha, not that i want to be super hyper or anything, i was just worried it wasn't doing anything for me i am also trying to refrain from the weight scale until the end of each week, and i may also start measuring myself as i have a feeling the scales may not change but your inches and cms etc will. Thank you so much for your reply and feed back Vanessa, it has given me more peace of mind. Very much appreciated!
For my first month I didn't have scales so didn't weigh myself till I had my 1 month check in with doc. Now I have scales I do a weigh in each Saturday morn. Hopefully you don't get the dry mouth it is annoying but if I drink enough I am ok. Like I said the hydrolite is my back up
