I took a couple of weeks off after my first month, just because of the pandemic and not really committing to my work outs etc and I didn’t really experience and symptoms. Maybe a bit more tired on the first couple of days. I still ate less because my stomach has shrunk.

Hi, I just started with 40mg today and it's my first time as I have done gastric sleeve 4 years ago lost 50 kg but now I gained 20 kg I want to lose them again

All doctors opinions on duromine vary and you generally need to have a BMI of 30+.
Explain to them everything else you’ve tried and you believe this will help kickstart a new lifestyle.
Only if that is true to you. This isn’t a magic pill.

Hello I used 30mg in 2013/14 it worked wonders I lost weight,I was a student than so I was active more than from 2017 I stayed home and started gaining weight December 2022 I gave birth so my weight is too much so I bought 15mg...will it work on me after I used 30mg in 2014?

My Dr has told me multiple times to NOT take the pharmacy/home version of duromine. She explained that the side affects are much worse in those.
She warned me to only take the actual branded Duromine.

Some people take them everyday, some every 2 days.
Personally, I’m on 30g and I’ll usually take it every second or third day and still feel affects. When I take 1 two days in a row I can have trouble sleeping or feel like I need to exercise more.
But it really depends what I’m doing and how active I am.

Great success in first 6 weeks at 30g. Minimal side effects after 4 weeks. Now, the scale won’t budge even though I’m in a huge calorie deficit. Should I bump to 40g. ??

When you lower your calories and stick to low calories for a while, your body adjusts to the new energy intake and will change how quickly you’re burning through it because otherwise you’ll ‘starve’.
You need to fluctuate your calories every now and then.
1200 one day, 1500 the next, 2000 the next and so forth. As long as you’re still exercising and eating right. Maybe introduce a cheat day and see if that helps.

I have already been on duromine 30mg once before and I stopped taking them. But I'm already starting to overeat again and crave sugar! Would it be ok so start them again? I stopped taking them a month or so ago.

Sure can start again! I lasted 11 days with so many side effects that I stopped! 2 wks later started again and I had absolutely no side effects as my body recognised the pill from when I first used it!

I currently weigh 79kg and my goal is 60-64kg. I started taking Duromine 15mg about 10 days ago and for the first 5 days it worked great. I had dry mouth, reduced appetite and was sweating a lot but I drank a lot of water and I didn’t mind these side effects as I have been at home self isolating.
On the 6th and 7th day I noticed my appetite was basically normal and I no longer had dry mouth or any other symptoms. I took two days off as I read that helped some people but today I took a tablet at 8am and have felt no side effects and had a normal appetite as if it’s not working at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions? The country I live in only had 15mg so I cannot ask my doctor for a higher dose.

I started off on 30g tablet and I found that wasn’t strong enough! I’m now on 40g and they are pretty good! I suppose training ur brain to make healthy choices is the answer n move!
I find a few days a month where I feel like it's not working then I go a few days with great results. I put it down to hormones. Just get in the habit of good eating and PLAN your breakfast, lunch and dinner (plus snacks) the day before. Take the guess work out of it.
Could you ask your doctor if it’s ok to take 2 pills every 2 days?

As early as possible like 6 am but I’m on the 40mg so it’s harder to sleep if u don’t wear yourself out!

Hi. I've been on duromine for 1 month now I've lost 4 kg but i cant seem to be losing more.. I have PCOS and asked my GP to put me on this as nothing helps me... Could I have stopped losing weight cause I only eat toast in the morning and maybe some lean mince as supper?.. I don't have an appetite and I have insane diarrhoea...

You need to eat more or your metabolism will slow down to starvation mode and your body will store everything you put into it. What dosage are you on?
Exactly what lee said. You need to fluctuate your calories. Eat more one day and less the next so your body doesn’t know how much energy to expect and won’t store it all.

I would go to your doctor and ask the question. But from my experience you should get some side effects, especially loss of appetite and dry mouth or it possibly isnt working. Go up in mgs
I started on 30mg and it’s worked great. If you’re not having any side effects on the 15 then your body is obviously tolerating it well. So don’t worry :)

In a nutshell, it puts strain on your heart. Long term use isn't permitted. You're supposed to have learned how / what to eat in order to survive after 3 months has elapsed.
Is my second day taking duromine 30mg my current weight is 63kg goal weight 59 no side effects at the moment but my appetite has suppressed

Hi, I'm 163cm and 65kg. I'm not overweight but my weight is on the heavier side. I've put on 15kg after having my 2nd child. I have been on duromine 30mg for about 1 week. Experiencing racing heartbeat, feeling really nervous. 2nd day having headache and mild diarrhea. Feeling restless. Sometimes I sleep well sometimes I can't sleep. Has anyone experience this?
