Perfect for us....

This cleaner does not tip and the suction is so powerful, we did not realise how much dirt remained after cleaning, it is easy to clean and empty.. the size makes storage easy...all the attachments are very easy to attach and remove making it easy to carry around and change as required

Dysson Cinetic Big Ball animalpro DONT BUY !

published

Always had a Dyson Vacuum, always found them excellent and worth the money. 8 Months ago brought new Cinetic Big Ball Animalpro barrel vacuum. Terrible from the start, now even worse!! Emailed Dyson and placed poor feedback on website. Never got any acknowledgement back, poor service, poor product for money. Turned off this product and I am telling as many people as possible not to waste your money the worst vacuum ever and would love to say "it sucks" but doesn't really do that properly !

this is the second dyson i have owned and by far my favorite out of the two... easy to move around, not to heavy but slightly noisy but makes vacuuming a 4x2 home a breeze... power cord has a decent length so only have to change plug locations once.. love the easy to empty barrel also

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

My floors have never looked cleaner! we have 2 indoor cats and 1 dog that lives inside also so we have a lot of hair to vacuum and it hasn't disappointed us yet! It's amazing how much it sucks up and its easy to empty. having the motor head makes it a little loud but it doesn't bother our baby so it must not be too bad. we use it on the carpet and tiles with no issues. The adapters are easy to change also and the mini motor head is great to clean the couch and dog beds!

Great Vac

published

Bought this vac when the old one finally gave up, we have 2 cats and a 45kg dog that seems to shed his body weight in fur daily and miraculously never goes bald. This Vac gets the pet hair out of the carper and off the couch without any trouble and does and excellent job on the hard floors too. A must have vac for any hairy pet owner.

brilliant vaccume

published

best ever vaccume, definately beats the Godfreys $100 special
It does what it says and more. the ball style wheels/body is brilliant for
moving around the house. it sucks up dirt really well
and the extension helps to reach webs on tall ceilings
I am really glad I finally bought a dyson

The best vacuum to buy

published

If your looking for a vacuum to get any job done its this one. This is the second one i have brought and definitely money well spent. Have had other brands before this but they just cant keep up with what Dyson dose. The extras you get these days are even better.

Efficient vacuum but very noisy

published

I had a Hoover Allergy vacuum prior and Dyson definitely cleans better than Hoover. However, it is VERY noisy dut to the vacuum head. It is literally deafening so be prepared for the noisy if you want to go for this vacuum.

The various different heads available is a bit over-rated. I went for the Animal Pro as it was on sale for same price as entry level one but very rarely uses the other heads. Too much hassle of swapping.

Just keeps sucking

published

Love it had it about 12 months and keeps sucking the dirt up surprising how good it is at not getting blocked ... easy to empty and clean and not had any problems unlike other types of vacuums that have bags or block up and lose suction ... would recommend

Easy to use & removes all the pet fur.

published

I had been waiting for this to come on sale & I am so glad I waited to get it. I have a long haired dog who sheds a lot of fur which my old vacuum was not picking up, this Dyson has strong suction it picks everything up. The only down side is that the suction is so strong that it can be difficult to manoeuvre on rugs but it is not a major issue so long as you get the direction right & adjust the suction accordingly. Hands down the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned I thought my old one was good but this goes to the top of the class.

Amazing product

published

I am using my Dyson vaccum from last 4 months and have experienced very satisfactory results. The sucking power is great and can clear up the mess in few seconds. I have noticed that there is lot of heat coming out of it but seems not alarming. I think one thing Dyson has to improve is the locking mechanism of the dust box (Dont know the name of it).

100% Happy

published

The suction is amazing. Hair from 2 cats is picked up easily. It came with so many attachments, I mainly use the motorised head and hard floor attachments, they both do a better job than any other vacuum I’ve ever used. Easy to empty and rarely needs cleaning. I doubt I’ll ever need a new one but if I do, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a Dyson.

Great Vacuum

published

I have been wanting a dyson for years after I regretfully sold my old one. Very happy with my Dyson as the suction is good, there are multiple attachments that help get into hard to reach places and its easy to move around the house unlike my last vacuum. I use it on carpet, wood floors and tiles. The only bad things are that it is quite noisey but on the plus side this sends my newborn to sleep!

Disappointed

published

I use to believe that "you get what you paid for".. not with the Dyson unfortunately. Dont get me wrong, it works great, but its overpriced. I few issues I have with it. 1. Hose too short. 2. Bin does not shut correctly/easily. You have to make sure its clipped in and fit correctly or the door will open without you opening it. Maybe I got a faulty seal door *shrugs* 3. Extremely hot air output. 4. Handle makes my hands hurt and its heavy.

Best Vacuum I've ever had

published

I have been using this vacuum for 6 weeks now and it's an upgrade from Electrolux one that got broken after 4 years. I have to say it is like an upgrade from driving a Japanese car to a Europe car. Dyson vacuum has given me a pleasure of doing a vacuum on a weekly basis. It is super easy to use and it has never tipped over. Easy to clean up and maintain as well. I am now a big fan of Dyson after having Dyson V8 Absolute since last year.

Not the best dyson

published

Have to redo spots as it leaves dirt lines on carpet. It is great on tiles and Lino but shocking on carpet and rugs. The v6 handheld is much better and more worth the price tag.
When they have such a high price tag you would presume that these simple things are fixed before releasing.

Cinetic Big Ball Animal Pro

We’ve had our Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Pro for about 2 years now and have just moved from a place that had wall to wall carpet, to a place that has no carpet and newly-installed hardwood floors. Three questions: 1 & 2. What are the wheels on the unit itself made from and are they ok to pull along the hardwood floor without scratching at all? 3. What are the best tools to use as not to scratch the floor? Thanks!

Dyson
Dyson Team ..Dyson

The wheels on your Dyson Cinetic Big Ball machine are made of plastic, with a softer plastic tip on the sides.

While we don't anticipate any difficulties, we would encourage ensuring the wheels are clean prior to use.

For the most delicate cleaning of hard floors, we would encourage using the Swivel Hard Floor Tool, included with your Big Ball Animal Pro.

If we can assist further, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Dyson Experts via [email protected]. Alternatively, if you are not in Australia, please visit www.dyson.com and press "Contact Us" for the local contact information of the Dyson helpline in your area.

Our power head was accidentally taken over a smelly liquid on the floor and now the brush head smells, can we wash it?

I’m no expert just someone who purchased one recently. Pretty sure the Dyson rep said not to submerge it in water when washing it. I hunk get said he usual damp cloth wipe over. You probably should actually call Dyson and ask them in case there’s electrical stuff in the head that’ll get damaged if wet. Such a pain that this has happened to you. I hope you manage to get it sorted out ok! Goodluck!

Dyson
Dyson Team ..Dyson

Hi Amanda,

The Turbine head for your machine does not have any electrics as it is driven by the air of the machine, that being said we do not recommend completely submerging the head in water as if not completely dry when used again it will damage the machine.

Try using a damp cloth and if the smell remains please call our helpline on 1800 239 766 with your machine handy.

Our helpline is open Mon-Fri 8am-8pm and on the weekend 8.30am-4pm.

Best wishes,

Sam
