Easy Home Electric Blanket (May 2022)

I bought a king size Easy Home last week. Set on 9 for two hours, the blanket is only faintly warm. Is that normal?
Not what we need on a cold night. Disappointing, I'll have to take it back.
Nothing like the one I am replacing, which on maximum heat would get uncomfortably hot.

I wld take it back and get a refund too. If u look at previous year's reviews, many unhappy ppl. Price is good but it's like hit or miss. Mine wld get unbearably hot in less then an hour on #9 when in bed. Do not like it starting up at maximum heat. I am looking at other brands.

Frankly, if this is the electric blanket you are referring you, I would definitely just use either a cool or cold cycle and wash in wool wash.

The feet zone on my electric blanket isn't working on one side. The upper body is working fine. The other side of the blanket has no issue. What do you suggest? It is out of warranty.

I would return it. Even if it is out of warranty under consumer law an item still has to be fit for pourpouse for a reasonable time. Given correct use etc.....

You certainly could try returning it. The item has obviously not lived up to your expectations. It would be grossly unfair if Aldi did not honour your request, even though, the item has only just gone out of warranty. Hope this helps!

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will certainly talk to management in my local Aldi.Store. Hadn't thought to do this before, because I always assumed a manufacturer's warranty was only valid for the nominated period.
