Do not buy from ppbuy0420
Seller advertises items as available in stock in Australia when he's in China.
Seller pre-purchases Australia Post Shipping Numbers and then never ships.
You cannot get a refund as eBay believe that the pre-purchased shipping numbers are factual despite Australia Post advising that they have never taken possession of anything.

EBAY Australia CRIMINALS!
EBAY sellers beware!!! I heard horror reports for Sellers on Bay - no rights, funds held for crazy lengths of time - but stupidly decided to go ahead. Sold my guitar as lost my job due to Covid19. Buyer in U.S. received my guitar on 25 March. Very happy with purchase. Ebay states new sellers may have their paypal money released 24 hours after buyer receives item, or 7 days after. Thank you Ebay for playing "god" with my money - over 2 weeks LATER. Out of work, and Ebay released my money only today 10th April. I asked for special empathy due to ...Read more
my position ... NO!! Ebay, no other company could refuse a persons right to THEIR money like you. My BANK was more empathetic. Disgusting. 25th March - my sale was AUD$4700.00 .... due to failing US$, today 10th April just AUD$4290.00. Double whammy - no access to much needed funds to pay bills, and $400 less due to falling exchange rate over the 3 weeks they held my money. SELLERS BEWARE!!!Similar opinion? Full of Overseas seller posing as local.
Almost 80% of sellers are from overseas providing fake Auspost shipping numbers. Ebay has become so desperate that they even protect them and do nothing for the buyer. Avoid it is not the same ebay.

Another Chinese seller pretending stock is in Australia
The amount of sellers on EBay pretending that stock is in Sydney and we wonder why it takes over 2 -3 weeks to receive it's not good and with the China covid 19 and our self isolation they will take advantage I'm sure

Don't buy autopstorey (449) toilet paper
I purchased two packs of toilet paper from autopstorey(449) in March. I paid $44.00 Australian. The photo they showed of the product was totally deceptive -what you actually receive is two small packages with 12 tiny rolls of toilet paper in each. Won't be buying from them ever again

False advertisement
I am sick to death of international sellers saying the item comes from Australia when it actually comes from overseas. I will not be purchasing anything from ebay ever again no matter how much cheaper it is compared to say amazon. Middle finger to you lying sneaky international sellers

Crap when it comes to Toilet paper.
I have had been advised that two orders placed through eBay have a problem with the seller. And that I may or may not get the goods. And that I can apply to eBay for refund but I should also ask my credit card company.

unfair new rules for small sellers and bad customer service
Ebay Australia sucks, they have a new rule where if someone buys from you, and you are a casual or new seller (don't have a full on store), they will immediately hold the funds from you until the item is delivered. And now their customer service rep has ignored me in the middle of a chat session where I'm trying to ask more questions about it.
Totally unfair to do this to casual sellers, and not big businesses, especially in this time with corona virus where many of us are losing hours/days at work or our jobs completely.

some unsafe products on eBay
On 10 Mar 2020 I purchased 50 surgical masks on eBay. The seller pretends to be a local supply, but actually comes from China. Seller says the local delivery is few days. But after 12 day I still haven't receiving the item. I made the" Not Receiving The Delivery" claim on eBay. 5 days after the claim I received the parcel but it does not match the description as No Package. As eBay policy I can make one claim for one purchase only so I can not open the " Not Match Description" case. I lost $59 for nothing. Who dares to use masks from China without packaging and without trademark and with strange smell? Why eBay can't stop this kind of obvious commercial fraud?

How the mighty have fallen
Ebay, once the home of a bargain of fairness is no more. It is maze of caveats and lack of options. My issue was- I sold an ipad- all legitimately but I accidentally had the wrong generation of ipad pro on the listing- I copied from something else. Buyer, rightly wanted a refund. No issue- I said return the item as it was sent (with tracking and signature). He sends it without. Item is stolen from my front door. Ebay won't listen to me, they refunded him even though it could not be proved the item had arrived.
I have tried endless to speak...Read more
with someone of chat with someone, but they keep repeating their same messages. Their unfair policies, lack of transparency and inability to communicate as human beings means they can no longer be trusted. Be careful buying on there now. Ebay is dead.Similar opinion? Pathetic
eBay and PayPal obviously run by the same incompetent people.
Really gone down hill they’ve taken so many items off my purchase list so I can’t check or message the seller
And refunding money you makes you feel your jumping through tiny hoops

Dispute resolution is none existent. Poor communication.
I saw an ad. on Ebay for two items advertised together. One was an edge trimmer for melamine board and the other was an end [or corner] trimmer for melamine board. Two items in photo. Two items described.
I did receive the first item but not the second item. The seller then sent me photos and description of the first item. It is not the value of the item that concerns me, Ebay does not read your comments. They hope that the seller will come good. I am now very wary of Ebay whereas before, I had a lot of trust in them. Of course, the item was from China and of course, you cannot contact Ebay as usual.

eBay has gone down hill in quality of service and functionality
- eBay allows sellers to disguise their locations,
- eBay comms to update sellers and buyers on changes to status of sales or purchases is gravely lacking.
- eBay customer service reps don’t know the eBay product at all

I use to be a massive eBay shopper and seller but after my last experience I won't be rushing back onto the site! I got charged ridiculous amount of fees which I did get most refunded to me but the experience was a bit draining and 1 of the ladies I was talking to I felt was not empathetic.

Fake location sellers enabled by eBay still despite record ACCC fines.
eBay has a serious problem. Apart from being run by totally unethical libertarian crapitalists, over 90% of so-called "Australian" based sellers are actually phoenixed companies based in Hong Kong or China..... Over thirty transactions in the past year have been from these criminals who bulk buy Australia Post shipping numbers, and then never even send the items. They use the same listing templates, they use the same auto-generated accounts, they use the same bot software that fake news publishers use for manipulating public transparency, an...Read more
d eBay's highly sophisticated AI regularly flags these violations, but Trust &Safety line managers regularly overrule the AI fraud detection flagging. Cough cough, and that is a criminal offence, and we know your names. This is unconscionable conduct, and organised cartel collusion and enabling of fraud, especially on critical items like PPE, include masks, gowns, gloves and yes, toilet paper. You have already been fined millions for this conduct by the ACCC, now even the evil Peter Dutton is coming after you. When a company makes the Gestapotato look ethical, you know you have a problem. I will soon be doing a major story on national disaster profiteers. Other reviewers, Hmu if you have more evidence or wish to join a potential class complaint to the ACCCSimilar opinion? Asians are buying up in bulk and selling cleaning items plus other things on eBay at huge prices. I.E Glen 20 can bwt 30-86 a can. This should be stopped by eBay, but they just want the fees so are letting this happen. So disgusting I am lost for words.

Why does E-bay mark items as being delivered when tracking clearly shows the items being in another town?
3 answers
Why does E-Bay show items as being AUSTRALIAN STOCK when they come from China.
It's not eBay that marks it Delivered, it's the courier. eBay just shows you what online tracking says.
@ Len1010,
Tax avoidance scam to save the 10% GST which applies to products sent from overseas, eg. from China as well as taking advantage of low postage charges. If you take a look at Aus Post domestic charges you quickly realize that expecting to buy an item for under 10 bucks locally with free delivery include is not realistic.
With most Chinese made products Aust based sellers either buy in bulk from Alibaba and try to compete with Chinese based sellers or for low volume items they order from AliExpress and item is shipped directly to you.
May as well cut out the middleman and order directly from China. ;-)
