Best paint and will never use another
I started using this paint years ago as I have reactions to paint fumes. Ecolour solved this problem, it comes in any colour, is super easy to paint on and clean up. The online phone and delivery works perfectly. I actually painted my bedroom and slept in it that night without any breathing issues. Fabulous and thanks!

Fantastic for DIY apartment reno
We used ecolour's interior paint for a quick DIY apartment renovation on our gyprock walls and bathroom brick walls with good results. The paint covered well with the usual 2 coats and no smell - we slept in the apartment the same night. We also used the Polyclear floor sealant which provided a great matt finish.

Moulds and rots in the pails
This paint is appalling. Do not buy it. Our entire new home was ruined by this paint and required repainting with a toxic mould kill product. Ecolour were disdainful and dismissive when I reported the problem and blamed me for somehow causing the problem. No apology or refund. The paint rotted in open pails within a couple of weeks, turned solid and smelt foul. I asked for mouldicide at the time of purchase and they admitted they didn't put any in but wouldn't accept that I had requested it as it was a verbal order. The replacement paint we have used Haymes, is no VOC and so far so good.

House is covered in mould
Used ecolour exterior paint on new house but now there is mould all over it east west north and south, the house is in full sun all day,my sisters house was built at the same time on same double block, same builders, same materials, painted at the same time by same painters, the only variable was I used a different paint (ecolour) my sister does not have any mould problem so it's pretty clear what has caused the mould, but Ecolour has taken no responsibility.

No strong smell, but average in coverage.
Just finished painting our new baby room with 2L primer, 4L paint, and it was not even enough! The room is not a big room at all, 10-15 sq meters. We had professionals painting it. He said the paint smell was really minimal compared to your normal paint from bunnings, etc-- as the retailer said, the paint is used for hospitals, childcare centers etc. But our paint man had to do a coat of primer, then 3 coats and that was not even enough to cover the original color (which was a little off white). The doors were cream coloured and I can definite...Read more
ly tell the colour difference between the doors and the wall, even though after 3 coats of the same paint. We will probably go back to normal paint later on when we paint the rest of the room. But if you are really concerned about the smell or want to have a safe paint for your child, this paint is definitely a lot less smelly/safer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good quality paint, no strong paint smell, very happy with the end result!
Just finished painting a unit with eColour paint and I am very happy with the result. No strong paint smell in the unit at all and the paint seems to be good quality with a good finish!
The salesman probably encouraged me to purchase a little too much paint... (I have plenty left over) but overall I'm happy with eColour as a product.

Please do not buy it, if you are want a paint without a smell.
After long research for a safe, odour free paint i have purchased ECOLOUR paint as it was slightly cheaper than other brands zero VOC. Biggest regret!!!! Took me 4 weeks to air out the rooms. After painting the rooms, the smell was unbelievable strong. It was so bad, that it actually was irritating to be in the room longer than few minutes.
I've spoken to few employees in the shop before buying the paint and after using it. They all stated that the smell only lasts for few hours after the application. This is not true!!!!
Meanwhile I ...Read more

To say paint is odourless is not possible. Our paint does have a smell, and this is more to some people and less to others. Everyone is different. Our paints are certified NO VOC by Good Environmental Choice Australia.
