Hi, our package included all basix and site costs. What was quoted to us during the selection stage is the same as what appeared on the tender. Here is a homeone forum regarding buidling with Eden Brae which may be able to assist with more info and specifics :)

We looked around for eight months- I would say Wisdom because they are who we finally chose.

Eden Brae, we almost went with Wisdom, but own Tender blew out my $36,000 so we went with Eden Brae and could not be happier.

When should the guaranteed construction period starts? initially, our CSR told us that this should start after council approval and water board approval. now, she's saying that there shld be DA check followed by estimating. peace of mind and excitement are now gone.

Our guaranteed construction period started when we signed the final plans.

The guaranteed construction period starts 20 days after they have received the construction certificate. As mentioned in our review we were initially given an advised start date of March and was one of the reasons we chose Eden Brae over other home builders. The ironic part of the whole guarantee is that they control the whole process. For example if they have not submitted plans to council the guaranteed construction time will never start.

I signed in February 2011 and my house was not completed until July 2012. Even then there is stains on the bricks which has affected the look and value of my house. They cannot be trusted.

What brand? As we contracted on Stegbar but they supplied Airlite which is more infrior product than Stegbar!

Eden Brae is very cunning. They shown us Stegbar's aluminium windows and doors at the display home. Further, their staff also told us the standard windows and doors would be from Stegbar. Then, they are giving us Airlite's aluminium windows and doors.
