Large, quiet and cheap to run.

published

Had this refrigerator for six months now. It is a large fridge and easily stocked and used. All the shelves have rolling sliders which make them easy to use. It has two compressors, one for fridge and one for freezer. This makes it very cheap to run, which is important these days; and, it is very quiet and efficiently maintains good constant temperatures. The unpleasant task of cleaning is very straight forward. Although not the cheapest or prettiest on the block, for its size I actually consider it good value due to it's very low running cost. Yes, I would buy one of these again.

Perfect fridge

published

Extremely happy with this fridge. Looks good and performs even better. Quick ice making function was handy during parties. Generous storage inside.
Adjustable shelving. Good quality product.
After having a noisy fisher and paykel fridge this is a dream. No noise. No water leaking from the water dispenser. No finger marks on the outside.
Freezer compartment is generous

Good fridge.

published

New fridge keeps all compartments cold. Wife loves the vegetable drawer, very easy access with no bending. You need to be a bit careful what you put in small door shelves as a few items have fallen when door is opened. This fridge is a little deeper than it's predecessor and about 10cm of side and the door protrude further that the cupboards and benchtops. Would have been nicer if the sides were light grey or silver rather than the very dark grey which is a big contrast to the Stainless Steel doors. As per other reviews you can hear the motor operating at night when there is no background noise but it is not excessively loud. Overall quite happy with this fridge just wish the sides were a lighter colour.

Good fridge but can be noisey

published

Good size fridge, and the shelves and drawers are good quality and easy to slide in and out, and clean. The freezer is well set out and deep so can store food easily and tidy. The temperature can be adjusted to suit the Season, and it always holds temperature even when the door is left open all day. This is a negative: the door doesn't close by itself and often stays open. We have tried adjusting the feet, but to no avail. We just have to remember to close the door hard each time.

Love the whole thing

published

We love the stainless steel door as our previous fridge with painted finish went all soft around the door handle area, this seems to be a problem in the tropics as we have seen other fridges do the same. The lay out is nice and easy and love the freezer at the bottom with the slide out draws so you don't loose the cold air when you open the door unlike our previous top mount freezer.Has a very good energy rating as well.

Good fridge with energy eco.

published

Does maintain a good temperature in both freezer and fridge. Soft close doors and very smart design for compartment division. Easy open lid for compartment. Working in a quiet condition. Easier to clean than Westinghouse that bought previously. The most important is that its energy friendly especially when electricity charge jump up by 20% since 1 July.

We love it so we bought two

published

We love this fridge so much we bought a second one when our laundry fridge went on the blink.
Nice and big freezer holds heaps. Not had any problems. Bought the first one five years ago then another one this year. We have the Australian made ones. Believe they are now made in Thailand from this year.

Recommend.

Happy as!

published

Its nearly been a week since the family decided to pull the plug on our white 17 year old Amana refrigerator.. Our collective grief was short lived when the Electrolux EBE5367SA move in to fill the void left in the kitchen, S/S, ice water, cool LED lighting and quiet! All for $1749 delivered happy as!
Cons. The dog goes barking mad at it when ice drops into the ice container..

Just a couple of annoying things

published

Only had it a couple of months so far. Mostly pretty happy with it, we chose this fridge because of it efficiency and it had the internal configurations particularly as far as the drawers is concerned. However the drawers are not easily removable, it was very convenient to take out the whole vegetable drawer from our old fridge to make a salad or put away the shopping, rather than have to keep the door open to take each item out individually. By far the most annoying thing though is that the door won't stay fully open, it keeps closing, but then it won't even fully close by itself. Not sure if there is an adjustment to rectify this, but I haven't been able to find anything. Seems it is just very poor design.

Change for the worse.

published

The slide out bins that we are all used to have now changed to telescopic, like in an oven, they are very cheap and hard to reinstall after cleaning.
The door sprigs out and needs a shove to close it.
Not happy.
