Our Turbo head makes an extremely loud noise whenever it is lifted from the surface. We had it replaced when it was earlier under warranty, but the noise is so loud that it is very uncomfortable. Should we buy another replacement because the motor might have an issue which is causing the noise?

my electrolux ZUF4205AF wont turn on? Any help?

I have the ZUF4205AF (Animal Allergy Pro) and power/suction started off well. Now a couple of minutes of switching it on the suction is useless. I have cleaned all filters. Getting frustrated. I'm not sure about removing the side inlet and outlet tubes. I took a long time making the decision to purchase this cleaner but not happy at all. What do you suggest?

usually the filters are the problem but you've cleaned yours - I presume that means washing out the motor filter in water and letting it dry over 24 hours. When I did that when mine stopped sucking as well it returned to brand new condition power.
Change out the HEPA filter.
It is difficult to know if a HEPA filter is clogged.
Of course if it is totally darken on the INSIDE face, it's definitely clogged and new a new one.

Is the ZUF4305AF a newer version of the ZUF4205AF, or are they different in some way?

Hello Jo, the model we have is the ZUF4307ACT, I find them very hard to differencate between the models. It'll have something to do with the filters, ours has 4.
Regards Peter
It seems to be the newer model the ZUF4305AF is 1600watts & 10.10 kgs compared to the ZUF4205AF which is 5.4 kgs & 1850 watts and I'm not sure if the filters differ in anyway otherwise they seem quite similar

I'm looking for a vacuum on the quieter side. I can't find any information on the sound level this vacuum produces - anyone able to advise?

Hi,
I've had this vacuum cleaner for 5 months and I used to love it. In the last 2 months I've noticed that the suction power has weakened a lot - I used to get a really good clean just by using level 3 and now I use level 5 all the time and it only does an okay job.
I've tried cleaning the filters, both top and back, but that didn't really help.
Do you think there's potentially something wrong with the vacuum cleaner or is this normal after just a few months?
Thanks.

Certainly not "normal" could be something simple like something stuck in a hose. There are three filters (you only mention two) that need cleaning. The top cylindrical filter that you can see through the clear plastic, the one behind the canister (you have to remove the filter frame) and the one at the back. Also remove the side inlet and outlet tubes and check if anything is stuck.
Well when you said you've cleaned the top and back filters, I think you've missed the one up front.
To access front filter, you need to remove dust canister, and pull out the whole filter holder which is translucent, then you'll see the front filter.
