Don't waste your money!

I really wish I did my research before taking these tablets, it was referred to me by my doctor. Withen a couple of days of taking them I had bad constipation, my stomach bloated so much that my belly size tripled withen weeks. I was so nauseous, lacked energy and slept most of my days off.

Irregular cycles

I’ve taken elevit months before trying to conceive and have noticed that it made my cycles irregular causing it to be extremely difficult to track when I am ovulating or where I am in my cycle. After having regular periods for years they’ve become irregular once again after starting evevit just over a month ago. This month I spotted for 3-4 days and it stopped. Currently the only thing I’ve changed to my diet. Wouldn’t recommend even though it’s recommended by a number of doctors. Also makes you feel sick.

Caused diarrhea

Elevit caused diarrhea and nausea for me. Used it for a week and gave up, was feeling better the next day. Wasted $60 because bought a 100tab pack.
I have used other prenatal vitamins before and have been fine so was not expecting this.

Purchased in February 2020 at Priceline.

My body loves Elevit

I honestly never write reviews, but before buying elevit I read so many negative reviews, but the nutritional stats of elevit made me want to try it anyway. To be on the safe side I bought a small pack. Regret not buying the large now. My body loves elevit.

Overall very Good.

I used Elevit for my 2nd pregnancy. Downside was the constipation. Some people said it was to do with the diet. But there were some days that forgot to take Elevit and constipation wasn't as bad. My son came out very healthy, but so did my first son when i just took Vitamin D tablets along with Blackmores Pregnancy. My husband took the Mens Elevit on the second pregnancy as well. Overall it is a very good product. Both pregnancies turned out with healthy mum and babies. If I am lucky to have a 3rd will depend what my body needs.

I took them for 3 weeks and I was sick, (thinking it was just morning sickness) I forgot to take it last night and today is the best I've ever felt.
I'm going to try blackmores I reckon.

I’ve used these through pregnancies and they’ve made me so much sicker! Although I know they are good for you there are alternative brands which are cheaper and I found a lot better!

I started taking these when I found out I was pregnant they made me feel soo sick Nauseous and vomiting. Also gave me diarrhoea I honestly don’t recommend these !!!! I start taking Fabfol they are 10000 times better they don’t make me feel sick.

Didn't prevent neural tube defect

I started taking this vitamin 3 months before we successfully fell pregnant. Caused me to develop lots of little pimples to break out when Ive always had clear skin. That was the least of my problems.

We lost our baby at 12 weeks due to a neural tube defect, Anencephaly. The drs tested for chromosomal abnormalities and put the loss of our baby down to not enough folic acid. I'm not taking Megafol 5 in my obstetricians recommendation before we try again

Just started taking elevit 2 days ago. Not pregnant. Feel so sick, headaches, lethargic, super nauseous. Black stools too. Had to go to bed and sleep I was so ill. Not taking any more! Waste of $60 for me. I read that 1/10 experience these side effects. I am clearly that 1/10!

Works well for me

I was fearful of trying this pregnancy supplement as I'd read so many bad reviews. I tried another supplement and end up with nausea within 30mins of taking it. I switched Elevit, been on it a week now and no nausea. Can take anytime of day and I'm fine. Some constipation which I expect as there is iron in the tablets and, as with iron supplements it's a risk. Overall I'm happy with it. Now to see if I get pregnant.

Don't By this product

This product causes severe nausea and vomiting. I started taking it at 3 weeks pregnancy and I could not keep anything down. I was in and out of the emd for dehydration. I lost 8 kgs in 6 weeks. I had severe abdominal cramps. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and I stoped taking elevit 3 weeks ago. I am eating and drinking fine. I don't waste your money this product. I am want give this product zero stars but no option exists.

Can taking elevit give you a false reading on a pregnancy test? I have taken 7 test and they are all positive but I’ve been to the doctors and done the blood test and it’s negative?

I thought I had bowel obstruction

Trying for a baby. I started taking Elevit about a month ago. Super constipated. Get strange stomachache along with nausea and feeling like passing out while trying to defecate. I can’t even put that feeling to words, it’s that strange. Black tarry blobs of stools.
