The best solution for pool maintenance
Fantastic, fantastic, what else can I say, we had a high maintenance 100,000 litre pool set in Australian bushland. Debris blew in, overhanging trees shed leaves bark and gumnuts, it was a birdbath and wallaby drinking hole.
We were using 15-20 litres of chlorine a week, with the solar on even more, with this much chlorine it needed acid and stabiliser, if not enough chlorine was added the pool went green, and needed algaecide. A very high salt content was as a result of all the chlorine, this didn't help the painter surface. I put up with a...Read more

Don’t listen to pool shops
This is an excellent system. I have had an Enviroswim pool in Brisbane for two years and my water has always been crystal clear. On the one occasion when we had to turn it off for a weekend because we had a leaking pierced pipe, the pool recovered from cloudy to clear within 24 hours without adding chlorine and just running it for longer hours. Pool shops love to tell doom and gloom stories or plain incorrect information about this system because they make very little money from Enviroswim owners. You do need to monitor the ph like with ev...Read more
ery pool. I photocopied the summary of recommended operating levels and the do not add any of the following and contacted it to my pool water test bottle so the pool shop can’t flog me stabiliser etc. I add about 500ml of acid every seven to 10 days. Alkalinity needs to be adjusted with sodium bicarbonate after storms from the east. Very occasionally I adjust the ioniser knob and that is it. My child suffers from eczema and skin irritations ...but not with this pool. Everyone loves swimming in it. Mr Poolman at Mitchelton is helpful and understands this product.

Exceeds my expectations of what I thought a swimming pool should be
Swimming in my pool leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. My eyes never hurt or sting. I run filter in winter for 1 hour per day & in warmer months when the pool is getting used, around 3-4 hours per day.
Easy as to control copper, pH, alkalinity levels. My water is always crystal clear.
I vacuum the pool twice a week manually.
I've called the Enviroswim help line on 2 occasions for some technical advice & their response was easy & very professional
I Totally love my Enviroswim fresh water pool.
I would thoroughly recommend an Enviroswim pool to anyone considering purchasing a pool. Minimum maitenance, minimum additions. Just enjoy the pool.

Crystal clear Poolwater
I have been operating the Enviroswim for about 8 years My pool water is always crystal clear with a minimum effort and cost I am on my 3rd set of Copper/silver rods
Apart from normal testing PH /alkaline calcium occasionally copper do very little to the pool which is a concrete pebble in ground 60000 litres
Best of all is the no stinging eyes and salty chlorine smell
If your family use the pool and the kids are in and out on hot summers days you should have a close look at this product
Pool shops will not tell you about it

Perfect Water
After a lot of research we decided against chlorine for our outdoor 50 000 litre fibreglass pool in WA. I have sensitive skin and the Enviroswim product reviews indicated that the water treatment process was much kinder to the skin.
Enviroswim has exceeded our expectations. The water feels ‘soft’. My skin is not irritated, and hair remains unchanged even after long stints in the pool.
The cost to maintain the pool is confined to that required to balance the water (hydrochloride acid and baking soda), with minimal wear on the copper r...Read more
ods in that time. It works well with our heat pump. Last year we used our pool for ten months. We run the filter for less time than would be required for a salt pool. Unlike chlorine, the treatment process isn’t affected by sunlight. Actual maintenance required is more about monitoring levels rather than having to manage chemicals. As far as service goes, any questions we have had have been addressed really promptly. We are very happy with Enviroswim and recommend it to people who want a pool simple and cost effective to maintain, as well as being wonderful to swim in. Great service backup is also a feature.1 comment

Excellent choice for our resort and our home in Perth
I bought enviroswim for my house in Perth 5 years ago and just loved it! as I managed a resort in an island located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the name of the island is Fernando de Noronha. We installed Enviroswim about two years ago over there and the results couldn't be better . We received guest from all over the world and all of them are impressed with the water quality of our swimming pool.
awesome product, environmental friendly and most important healthy choice

Freshest water you will ever swim in!
I have been in the pool industry for 28 years (now retired and a retail consumer) seen and used every sanitation device. This has by far exceeded my expectations. The water quality and the ability to maintain that water quality is impressive. It requires less running time and holds the water quality for longer.

The absolute best system
We have now had an Enviroswim System for in excess of 14 years. Our first was installed by Gary in January 2004. We could not believe the difference in the appearance of our pool, never going green with the rain and just how easy it was to maintain. The run time with the use of power was far less and chemicals needed is very minimal. We sold our home in 2015 and the new owners could not believe their luck, having this system and how easy it was to use. We have now had the newer model installed in our new pool at our new home and find it even ...Read more
better than our old one. We travel overseas regularly and it is so great to come home to a clean glistening pool and ready to swim in. One of the main benefits of Enviroswim is the fact that if you have any questions at all, help is only a phone call away at no cost.. You do not have to get a pool expert out at an exorbitant cost.1 comment

Enviroswim FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!
I am absolutely wrapped in my Enviroswim ES3 pool sanitizer. I have just got off the phone from a very helpful salesperson to order replacement electrodes after 5 years of making my pool a joy to have, maintain and swim in. It is my shower most days when at home and I visit a pool shop once a year only to buy buffer. Doesn,t compare to my previous salt water pool balancing act. No Chlorine smell or feel. Keep up the amazing service Enviroswim

Awesome Pool Sanitising System
We converted our salt water, pebblecrete pool to EnviroSwim back in 2012 because the salt was eating away at our sandstone pool surrounds. We have been so happy with this system because the water feels and tastes so much cleaner and the maintenance of the pool is minimal. I've changed the electrodes twice in 6 years and the customer service from the EnviroSwim team is always exceptional. I can't speak highly enough about this product!

We used the system at our previous house for about ten years with no problems whatsoever. Service support was great. New house now and I decided to use the system already in place - but the chlorine smell really reduces the enjoyment of the pool. We will be ordering soon!

I highly recommend the Enviroswim product
We have had an Enviroswim system in our new fibreglass pool for 4 years now. We absolutely love the system, and would highly recommend it to anyone researching what system to use. The water feels lovely to swim in, you don't need to shower afterwards if you don't want to, no residue left on your skin. Overall, the system is low maintenance and is easy to use. I had a few teething problems as a first time pool owner, but the Enviroswim staff have helped me solve any problems I had, their support has been amazing. I do use a local pool shop for testing the water, but I do need to resist them wanting to sell me multiple products that this pool just doesn't need. Just acid/buffer and a bit of salt annually. Thanks Enviroswim!

Enviroswim has turned us into pool water snobs
It's a miracle. 365 days of the most perfect, crystal clear water in any pool I have ever owned. Forget reducing the cost of chemicals, apart from acid after rain, I haven't spent a dollar on any chemical in 3 years. Chlorine and salt pools just feel sticky and dirty now. Recommend Enviroswim to EVERY pool owner I know. Don't think about it for one minute more, just get it, you'll be amazed, truly!

Absolutely love Enviroswim, wouldn't have any other system on our pool.
We installed Enviroswim to our new pool and absolutely loved it. It was like swimming in a mountain pool and you could drink the water it was so pure. To be able to finish swimming and dry off without a shower and washing hair is a huge bonus of this system. It would be very advantageous for councils to use Enviroswim in community pools. Recommend it 100%.

Enviroswim EC3 best water quality system available
Prior to installing our pool we researched the type of sanitiser thoroughly primarily on the basis of the type which would deliver the most pleasant swimming .Having sensitive skin which is a family trait we were very keen to avoid the possibility of reaction to chlorine and salt chlorine .We were very pleasantly surprised to find the Enviroswim system and to read the supportive scientific testing data available .. Best Pool sanitation system on the market & Equally as good after sales service! 5 Star
We took some time to work out exactly what we wanted with our new in-ground concrete pool, As always the pre-purchase experience was great and gave thorough information and product knowledge, so we decided to buy our enviroswim system, after setting it up it took a couple of weeks to get it spot on and the level of after sales service from enviroswim was second to none! You will not be left in the lurch trying to figure it out. Our pool has been operational for 12 months now and is so easy to maintain. When you get out after a swim you feel refreshed with no chlorine smell. Even with our old Salt water pool you got that chemical smell.

Love this product
We have had our pool for 18 months now and love our environment.
Despite the criticisms from all our local pool shops or has been a dream product.
I never knew owning a pool could be so easy. We hardly ever have to add chemicals and the water is always sparkling clean.
We now just want one for our spa.

Great system for low maintenance
When we researched our pool sanitising system we had to clear criteria - no chlorine and low maintenance. After 3 years we can say that the Enviroswim system has delivered. We also installed a Chemigem 10, which automtaically regulates high pH. It did take some time to get the system settings correct, and the various chemical readings consistent (ie pH, copper, TDS etc.), but I invested in a Palintest Kit (about $1k) and this did the trick. Whilst I still have the pool water tested at a pool shop every few months, the readings I'm getting are a...Read more
lmost identical to the pool shop tests. The water is crystal clear with no smell/taste of any chemicals. The other thing I did learn is, if you need to add any chemicals (ie sodium bicarb, calcium chloride or salt) then do it over a couple of days. I found that this tends to help keep all readings stable for longer. All in all, we can highly recommend that Enviroswim system!1 comment

Best and simpilest pool sanitation I have come across
Water looks Crystal clear. changing from a salt water system to an Enviroswim ES3 system was the beat thing we ever did. The cost of running the pool have dropped dramatically and it is a pleasure to swim in fresh water, there is a bit of Maintenance, but a lot less than salt water systems. we Love it.
I don't use a pool cleaner, use manual cleaning only.

Questions & Answers
Harryasked
We have an ES3 Enviroswim. Our Oxidiser is at max, but the reading is stating OF. We have added acid to bring our pool to specified levels, and chlorine to bring up the levels to specified levels. However, the test results did not include TDS levels. Do low levels of TDS cause the oxidizer to read OF? If this is so, what is the formula for adding salt to the water to increase TDS levels. We have a 60,000 litre pool.
Thanks, Harry
2 answers
Hi Harry,
I'm in a Body Corp situation where we run 2 of these with great success.
You say you added Chlorine.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use chlorine with a ES3 Enviroswim unit. You will stuff it completely. That's why it reading OF.
You may need to leave it open to the sun for a week or so to burn off the Chlorine, or drain the pool and start again.
To increase the TDS level you ADD salt.
Turn up the RHS side control to increase the numbers. If it wont go up to 15 and/or the number has a red led showing at it bottom right of the number, then the water is not conductive enough for the unit to sanitise your pool correctly.
Add salt to the pool about 1 kilo at a time, Spread over the water NOT into an inlet.
Give it 15 minutes with pump running to circulate and see of the reading can hold at 15 without the red low TDS light showing. If still glowing or not reaching 15 keep adding salt until it does.
Salt increases the conductivity of the water so the 'circuit' is stable and the Enviroswim unit can work.
The salt balance gets reduced by water top-ups to counter evaporation over summer.
Most pools run at between 6-8, so low salt levels get missed until it becomes critical.
Therefore, what we do is once a month turn it up to 15. If the Low TDS light comes on we add salt.
Back to adding Chlorine, I'd call Enviroswim and get their advice.
Thanks Brulie,
Rest assured re: the Chlorine. It was only 3 litres and was done under the supervision of a an Enviroswim Rep. Regarding the TDS levels, our water analysis did not include a TDS reading, hence the concern. The pool is now fine, and our oxidiser is reading 13, which I am told is the norm. Thanks for your help and advice
Harry

Hi, I have sought advice through other channels with no response, so hoping for something here.
Three questions regarding Enviroswim ES3. We live in Fremantle and run the system in a 50 000 litre fibreglass pool. Both installed June 2015.
1. Ph - relieved to know that we are not alone In trying to get ph right. Increasing ph then adding acid just seems to be a vicious circle. We have been advised to use dry acid, added through the skimmer box instead of the liquid product. Anyone have an opinion? I have read on one US site not to bother with total alkalinity, and just keep a close watch on ph.
2. Trying to get total alkalinity right meant a rapid buildup on the oxidiser plates. Upon clearing them I see significant damage to the plates. I cannot see any other correlation that has caused this rapid decline. As a $600 plus replacement part, has anyone else had an issue like this or is that the actual life span of the oxidiser plates?
3. Gel coat has faded significantly. We are fine with that, with the exception of the top 200mm which we would like to return to its original colour. Sandpaper was the initial response, but I am most uneasy with that as the gel coat is delicate. I thought of using a polish instead. Anyone with experience here?
Thanks!
Mark

We have a brand new concrete pool. Using Enviro system. Can not get PH or alkalinity right. One day we add acid, next day we add buffer. And it just keeps going, every day we are adding some thing. Hardness is ok. Copper is ok. We do have some phosphate 168 in the pool. Water temp is 29 deg, water is crystal clear. How do I fix PH and Alkalinity problems.
1 answer
Enviroswim T.Enviroswim
Hi Sue,
Firstly give your pool a phosphate treatment as phosphates act like steroids for algae growth. This could push pH up.
pH can be a little tricky in the first few month due to the surface of the pool and will have a high acid demand.
High pH is caused by the pool interior and or Environmental conditions, bathers, temperature.
Every time you add sodium bicarb to your pool your pH will go above 8.0.
Every time pH goes to 8.0 Sanitiser lose their efficacy. For Example at pH of 8.0 chlorine is 3% effective where as at a pH of 7.2 it is 75% effective. Same for Enviroswim
So the trick to balancing your pool is to not add sodium bicarb regularly.
If you think of alkalinity like your fuel in your car, you fill it up, you drive, your fuel tank lets you know it approaching empty, then you fill up.
Adjusting alkalinity regularly is like driving 5km then stopping for fuel, then driving another 5 and stopping for fuel.......so on..... You tend not to go very far quickly.
So top your alkalinity up and don't adjust till it is towards the the lower limit. This will give more time before you increase you pH by adding sodium bi-carb ... This is why it is known as water balance.
Other tips.
When adding solid or liquid products to your pool water please dilute in water first.
ALWAYS ADD CHEMICAL TO WATER - Never Water to a Chemical.
