Useless, expensive, piece of junk.
Managed to print with it from my Acer Aspire with Windows 10 twice, then it would no longer connect. Tried to update the driver but it wouldn't install. Doesn't come with a cable, instructions are pathetic. Troubleshooter reckoned wifi was unstable yet it says signal strength is excellent. Says printer is working correctly, but it can't connect ??? Worst buy ever.

Great Printer
Only purchased today, as replacement for older cartridge printer. Was sick of having cartridges run out of ink so frequently - and the cost involved with this. Great sales assistant showed me various types of printers and advised of the pros and cons with each model. I decided that the Epson ET 2710 as though the initial cost of the printer was greater than the cartridge type, it would work out far cheaper because of the ink system which prints thousands of pages before having to replace the inks. The replacement inks are also reasonably p...Read more
riced (for when I need them in future). I found it very easy to set up, by simply loading the CD in my computer and following each step required. I connected it to my computer with WiFi (no cable required) and also installed remote printing from my smart phone. Since installing it, I have done scans and copies which have been easy. I know it is early days, but hopefully it will continue to please.Purchased in January 2021 at The Good Guys for $387.00.

Excellent but only lasted 1 month before breakdown
- quality is excellent
- features are excellent
- connectivity is not the best
- broke down after 1 months use, thought the ink maintenance tank needs to be replaced but advised to go in and change it. Whats the point of EcoTanks if it cant print many pages.

Good output but it is one of noisy printer! :)
With ever increasing high price of the replacement cartridge and the makers making harder to use the recycled cartridge I decided to jump the ship and purchased ET-2700 from the local Officeworks.
After filling the ink reservoirs with included refill ink bottles - do be careful when you flip the bottle as they can leak drops – power it up and let it runs the initial setup cycle.
After that it’s time to set the Wi-Fi and here I encountered the little problem. Since this printer lacked the display panel the method explained in the guide pamphl...Read more
et did not work with the Wi-Fi Extender I used. After trying multiple times at the end I dug up the USB cable with type-B end - Epson should include this cable in the packaging since type-B wasn’t common type of USB cable – and connected the printer to my laptop. However, the setup program was rather illogically made and rather than set the connection type I had to try the normal way few times before the program mentioned to use the alternative method to connect which was via the USB cable. After that it was breeze to setup and connect to the Access Point (which was the Wi-Fi Extender referred above). Once it was done the rest was rather easy. All you needed to do was set the printer on each local machine as well as set it up to Google Cloud Printer as well as activate and change the E-mail Printing e-mail address from the cryptic numbers to more meaningful words so I could remember. :pPurchased in August 2021 at OfficeWorks.

Nightmare to set up!!
Don’t buy this! It doesn’t connect as an air printer and we can only print through the Epson app. Had to use a USB cable (not included) to connect it to the wifi network and half the time it’s say it’s not connected. Great idea with the liquid ink tanks - we were spending hundreds on inkjet cartridges! But it’s not worth the extra upfront cost if it doesn’t connect to the network.

Absolute rip off and terrible customer service
Purchased this today and went to set up - the printer doesn't come with a USB cable. It wouldn't connect wirelessly, when I called customer service I was told the only other option is to purchase a 'temporary' USB cable to complete set up.
Absolute rip off, Epson has created a printer that is faulty in connecting to wireless networks and forcing customers to purchase USB cables separately. Wouldn't buy again.

Pain in the bum to setup.
What a pain in the to install!! My fault for not looking closely before purchase but what a cheap piece of rubbish. Bought because we can refill like our older printer, but alas, special ink container needs to be used to install ink.. Just another rip to make you buy ink from them.

Very unreliable printer
Would give it -1 star if possible. Bought the printer to replace an old Canon printer that was end of life and have regretted it ever since. The large ink tanks are a good idea, however, the printer is plagued with paper feed problems that require continuous print resets and restarts of the printer itself. The colour reproduction is poor (colours come out darker and with reddish tinge that can't be tuned out). The print and scanning speed is very slow. Will be getting rid of it to go back to a Canon.

I love this printer!
After a bad experience with a cheaper printer (different brand) which was hard to connect to printers, always jammed and went through ink like it was going out of fashion, then died, I decided to spend more for an eco tank version and went the Epson as it does double-sided printing (though you do have to manually feed it).
Anyway, it was a dream to set up and install on my computers, prints beautifully and is fast (I use it for a home office). And if the ink lasts as long as they say (up to 2 years/5000-6000 pages), I'll be way out in front! Love it.

Definitely one sided printing, I have been using for months, it’s easy to fix wait for it to print then turn around. I even do it in bulk as ink is cheap. Print a whole bunch of pages then flip around.

which one of the Epson ECO printers has double sided printing
Yes. It does have double sided printing. Have not used it, but checked the manual. You just have to go to the settings and select it. (See page 45 of the manual).
