Absolute rubbish product
Purchased in May 2022 by my daughter-in-law as a cheap MFC, as it would be used infrequently. She was sold by the need for wi-fi connectivity, but misled by the "false advertising" label on the machine stating it was 30% cheaper to run than a colour laser. After 154 prints, it began to show significant print gaps and at 188 prints, all 4 original cartridges required replacement, which was duly done. Despite print head cleaning, the print gaps remained with the new cartridges...which is when it was brought to me.

IT business for 20 years working with all manner of IT equipment, including the servicing of printers, both laser and inkjet and no matter what method was used to clean the nozzles the print remained patchy with a rapid decrease in ink level! [Attached image: after servicing, print head clean and inkjet nozzle check - as good as it got!] I have purchased and commended the Epson Workforce series of printers in the past for customers, but would be extremely reluctant to continue to do so based on my experience with this model, in conjunction with the reviews posted by others experiencing similar issues. This product is absolute rubbish and you would need to marry into a European royal family to bear the cost of the rapid ink cartridge replacements required! A 1-star rating is over-rated...and Epson needs to do so much better to restore this repairer's confidence in their future products.Purchased in May 2021 at Officeworks Physical store for $148.00.

Poor print quality
Setup was easy and front panel gave good control.
Scanning works fine and is more than adequate for most general purpose needs.
However the good news finishes there. Print quality was less than impressive. I certainly would not use it in an office environment.
I thought it might be better once I installed new print cartridges, of course this happens soon, because of the tiny amount of ink provided with new printers. Unfortunately new cartridges didnt help. This piece of garbage is destined for the scrap heap, when the ink runs out.

Started out perfect but uses ink used up very fast which is expensive.
Not reliable. Uses ink very fast. Cleans print head often. Upgrades causes problems with this equipment. The short term introductry cartriges last way longer than the xl ones. Tried generic ones and they worked better than the name brand but an upgrade killed that option. This will soon be in the trash

So Far so good
My TX 550 W Epson printer died after 10 years so why not another Epson. Decided on a 3730 and after 3 sheets it died persistent paper jams and eventually unable to print at all. Rang Epson technical and they advised a terminal hardware failure take it back for a replacement. The second one is going well. Good quality print and easy enough to set up. Scanner works well and I really liked how easy it is to get the machine printing from my iphone. I purchased from Officeworks at $159 so not bad value in my opinion.

Disappointed in the printer
Every time I have to tell the printer to print on both sides, After printing it keep going back to print one side per sheet. My other printer what was not an Epson printed on both sides automatically.
Took me also a few hours to set up the printer and the scanner.
Not happy with this product.

Absolute rubbish!
It took me 6 hours of setting up the computer to get it to work. The instructions were useless. I ended up using the computer's printer troubleshooter, that really helped. I have just tried to scan some pages. I then found out I had to download two more setup drivers from the Epson website. Even then I have to open 'Programs' from 'Start' and run 'Event Manager'. At least Canon printers open up with the scanning screen on the computer when the scan button is pressed. I will not buy another Epson.

I loathe this printer
I absolutely hate this printer. It has been the biggest waste of money ever spent on a printer.
This morning I had to go for an urgent blood test and had to print off the form. Guess what? I'm out of yellow ink. But that's ok because my black ink and other colours are all full. The printer WILL NOT PRINT if one colour is out. I spent ages on work arounds and settings and googling how to get it to print with just black. None of them worked. I ended up having to go into a friend's office to print it and was late.
What an absolute piece of garba...Read more

Waste of money!
Print quality when working is okay. It looks pretty and is compact. That's it for the positives :-)
Auto feed constantly jams, only likes to scan two pages at a time, when it does work... never again.

1 Star too many for this piece of crud
Oh dear, shouldn't have wasted our money. 59 bux for a refill of black and the printer likes to stay offline. Getting it online is a bit like raising the TITANIC, possible, but why bother? Printing is slow, the machine is nearly as noisy as my old 103 Inch Shovelhead and nowhere near as reliable or useful.
Looks like I'll be buying another Canon or Brother.

Good Home Office Printer/Scanner
Had Epson previously and was pretty happy so when the time came to upgrade Epson was the obvious choice. The print quality and timing is pretty quick. Colour print is very good if you use better quality paper. Scans directly to my PC and can print remotely too. The touch screen controls can be a bit cumbersome but once you have worked them out it is pretty easy. Only issue at this stage is that the printer will often pull a second page of unprinted paper through. Not big thing but still a fault I suppose. All connectivity and options are good. ...Read more
Worth spending a few dollars more to get this rather than something half as good. I will only use genuine ink, a lesson learnt from my previous Epson. I saved a bit of money but the fake ink killed the unit. Unless you need colour, just use black. It is a bit cheaper than the colours. It's not a small unit but uses about the same amount of real estate on my desk that a smaller unit does.Purchased in June 2021 at Officeworks Physical store for $160.00.

Is a dud wifi drops out won’t print black
Is a con will not print black always uses colour and black adding to ink costs if you print in black it will not if a colour is out of ink. Drops out of wi fi . I would not recommend to anyone. It is extremely frustrating when my kids who are still at home and at, university cannot count on the printer to work.

EPSON Need better techs
Bought an Epson as my last one was awesome. It prints fine from Apple devices (haven’t tried laptops), photocopies and scans very well. I don’t like that it doesn’t scan double sided like my previous WF. Also chews through ink at a rate of knots. I suspect because the ink cartridges have now less in them as they try to force you to buy XL which are very expensive. I also noticed the magenta and cyan ink nozzles become blocked regularly even with use and have to be cleaned several times. Technicians need improving as they don’t know products capabilities and don’t pass on information accurately when they up the level to next technician.

I shall say straight off that I am not good at IT stuff. So, I couldn’t get it connected to the internet, had to get help. Had to connect it to PC at first. Couldn’t get it to scan or AirPrint; had to keep asking. Then it did it all for a while, but has stopped again, with a
Message to contact Epson support. Who have given me a report number. I really hope they will get back to me. Why can’t they provide a pamphlet, an information sheet, to go with the f——ing thing? Some detailed instructions, like you used to get .

I took it back to Office works. They said it was faulty and I swapped it for a Canon, which has very detailed instructions and diagrams for installing and setting it up.
