Only good for landfill
I made the mistake of buying two of these. When they work the print heads constantly clog. Won’t print black if the colour cartridges are empty. But most of the time I get ‘printer is offline’ messages and have to spend too much time reloading software which sometimes won’t reload because it can’t talk to the computer. Wifi says it’s on on the printer, but phone and computer won’t recognise it. Office works recommend this piece of junk to me when I was actually leaning towards another printer. I’ve spent more time trying to print than I have actually printed.

The best place for this product is in the recycle bin!
Won’t perform simple task like copy... keeps stating the margins are not set correctly... you set them ... press ok ... and sends you around in circles with the same error message.
Enough to drive you crazy .... and already printing blurry ...
Pile of junk ... do not buy Epson !

Dont get CONNED!
Will not print in black and white due to a low colour cartridge.. Absolute scammers. Also the scanning function has also stopped working. Ill never buy Epson again. Terrible product and their dishonest ways of setting up their products to force you to buy ink unnecessarily.

Absolute garbage dont waste your money
Looks good but thats where it stops. The cartridges are too expensive and it wont allow you to print in black and white if 1 of the colours is empty. It will cost around $120 for all cartridges and you'll get 150 pages if your lucky.
This is an absolute money spinner for epsom..
Stay away!!
Wont buy their products again

Extremely slow and difficult to get it working
We've had this printer and scanner for almost a year now, and it gives more grief than pleasure. It prints extremely slowly, the print cartridge finishes fast and last night it decided to print page after page of symbols instead of the printout I needed. I would have been better off paying more money but buying a printer that does the job! I will definitely research my next model better.

never buying Epson again
This printer wont recognize cheaper after market ink cartridges. What is the point of buying cheap printers if you have to buy over priced genuine ink cartridges. I'm going back to brother printers

Over complicated
The product looks great but was or has proven to be unreliable over complicated. I’ve reached the point where I need an IT expert just to set up the printer it’s consistently printing blank sheets one after another.

Good printer for home
I bought this printer in April 2022 from Officeworks for AUD$99 and have only used it a handful of times to print (docs and photos) and scan. Functionally, so far so good although scanning is quite slow. I haven't had any problems with jamming or clogged heads as others have reported. For it's price, I think the print quality is great and the output is fairly good as well. What I don't like however, is the ink situation. It drinks ink like nobody's business and, as with most printers I suppose, they're not cheap to replace. You've got 2 options...Read more
for cartridges, Std or XL (high capacity). I would definitely recommend (if your budget allows) spending the extra $$ to go with the XL cartridges and, if you don't need them urgently, buy directly from Epson as they're a bit cheaper (than Officeworks anyway) and currently offer free delivery. Also, buy the value packs and save yourself some $$$!!! We've replaced 3 out of 4 cartridges so far but made the mistake of buying individually because they ran out at different times. In this instance, we had to buy from Officeworks and spent $69.54 for 3 cartridges (we did get black in XL though) whereas the value pack is only $76.88 (incl. 4 cartridges - 1 black XL and the 3 other colours STD). Overall, I think it's a good printer for home use.Purchased in April 2021 at Officeworks for $99.00.

OMG! Worse printer ever!!!
This is just wrong for the environment! Printer is difficult in every way possible. I can’t even get it to work. Each time there is a big drama and hours later still not resolved. Office works should know better than to sell such rubbish!

Disappointed
This printer does my head in every time I use it. I have to hit print multiple times, it shoots out blank pages and then prints and it often does not efficiently communicate wirelessly for scanning. It constantly has IP issues and can't communicate. Printing and scanning are the most straightforward things this thing should do effortlessly but its like I have to stand on one leg with my finger on my nose and turn around three times for it to follow a command. Very Frustrating !

Worst printer I have owned in 20 years. Don't buy this cheap and nasty printer!
This has lasted 15 months, and recently I've had to do repeated head cleans. I just printed after the last lot of head cleans (7 times) & the printer is shocking quality again, despite new cartridges. What a waste - this is a "throwaway" printer. Cheap printers like this are not worth it.

Photocopy Excellence
Fast colour accuracy with ink samples when photocopying flyers of 30 x A4 standard paper without any jamming. First time using a vertical stand backfeeder type of printer, instead of a flat horizontal feeder from an HP printer some years ago with jamming issue, even though my review is made just after one day's experience for Epson. Mainly for photocopying if I run short of flyers for my walker full-time job and laminating the flyers using my recent-reviewed laminator.

Ready for the rubbish bin
This printer worked well until the ink cartridge ran out. It does not just print black, you have to have all cartridges full for it to print. Most of the time it only printed half a page. Not happy with this purchase and I will not purchase an Epson again.

Don't buy this.
My wife got conned into buying this at Officeworks (they said it was a good printer). It's the worst printer I've ever had. I have just spent 12 minutes trying to get it print a one page receipt for an internet banking transfer. It was so slow that by the time it had printed, my internet banking had timed out. This printer is mostly offline and takes for ever to start printing. It is also very complicated to use, the menus are designed by some lab rat whose brain works in an illogical fashion. Don't buy it. Doesn't do double sided printing. Once the ink runs out I will throw it in the bin and buy a better printer.

TOO COMPLICATED TO SET UP
After the previous printer we had asked us to do an update it stopped working. So off we went to buy another one only because I had purchased $142 worth of cartridges for our previous Epson. And have tried many times to install the Fax and the Scanner on this and it will not work. Have contacted the Help line and all they did was send me an email to tell me what to do

disgusting do not buy
After 15 months my printer died. I have just had it in to try and repair it, only to find out it is junk, landfill. For the cost, do your research, dont buy this machine. Paid out too much to throw away, but throw away I am. Epson have lost me as a client.

This printer is JUNK! Epson designed a fault into the ink system to ensure it needs to waste ink
After repeated calls to EPSON Australia (02 8899 3666) and speaking with call centres overseas, It was revealed that they do not cover warranty unless the printer is used weekly and has the print heads cleaned every week. This wastes massive amounts of ink and you have to buy new cartridges from EPSON. The print heads go out of alignment every month and it barely has been used (maybe 8 times) its ABSOLUTE JUNK!
Worst printer I have EVER owned! By farrrrr!
If you buy one, you have been warned, it WILL fail and it WILL be a waste of money. ...Read more
Im so disappointed and EPSON have been ZERO help. This printer is JUNK! Epson designed a fault into the ink system to ensure it needs to waste ink cleaning the heads EVERY WEEK! as they block up and go hard. Its a profit based issue.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
The worst printer I have ever owned. Absolute crap.
It is a seriously flawed printer. I've owned other Epsom printers and they were ok. This doesn't work... complicated to the max to operate and doesn't do what you tell it to. A SHOCKER. I'll never buy another Epsom. Sadly I have lots of ink cartridges now to sell. Don't buy Epson.

Reliable
I’ve had this printer for just over a year now and fairly happy with it. For the price you pay it does a descent job. I use for my business and I’m happy with it. The Only small issue i have is it doesn’t print great photos but having said that I didn’t pay that much. Overall good product.

my epson printer is brand new . i can print a test sheet but everything else goes in a queue? i cant actually print documents from my computer. why is this happening what can i do to solve the problem????

reboot yr computer
If it shows an error state, ensure the driver is installed. If it’s a Windows computer, incompatability issues with Epson printer programming. Ring technician, but be prepared they have no idea on products. You will probably need to return and go with different brand printer.
Hi - did you ever solve this? Mine is very similar however I can't even get a test print ! Scans ok though.
