Great dryer
Have had for 6 months now. Replaced very ancient hoover. A big fan of the auto feature which will keep drying till clothes are done then turn off. Might cost a bit at the start, but worth it in the end. Still keeps the garage warm like the older one but no biggy.

Not great for small enclosed spaces (like apartment laundries)
I purchased this because it had a much higher energy efficiency rating than my old vented dryer and because I thought I would not have to leave my small apartment laundry doors open to run.
I assumed the efficiency might lead to clothes drying properly, but it now takes about twice as long to dry a full load (full load from a 7kg washing machine). The laundry doors I still have to leave open, or I get a water dripping off the bottom of them, which means I have to install an exhaust fan now to stop the doors from getting water damage.

tings on it really don't work - if you want dry clothes, you have to put it on Cotton Extra, or they will just come out damp. I have tried nearly all of the settings and clothes types. I do like my clothes very dry though, not 'cupboard dry', or 'ironing dry', but dry. The only thing this dryer may have over my old vented Simpson is the energy savings. But without being able to directly compare loads and measure the usage, I can't really comment on this.Purchased in January 2021 at Appliances Online for $550.00.

Could not be happier about my purchase!
It is my first heat pump dryer. My husband was very sceptical of it as it is so cheap compared to all other heat pump driers (about 50% less than same capacity other brands one!). Let me tell you, it’s amazing. Could not be happier about my purchase! It is silent, easy to install & use & does not seem to take longer that regular dryer (which was one of my small concerns).

Still very new, but I love it.
I have just bought this dryer and christened it with a load of undies, then a load of towels, and soon, a load of bedding. So far, so good. Happy with the speed of drying, and because its in the garage, noise is not an issue (and it is very noisy). Im using the H2O collector for plant watering. Have not yet used with delicates so cant comment on that.
I expect I shall update this review as time wears on.

There is something about a dryer that filters out sand from the beach that makes my heart so happy I have to stop folding washing and come post a review. I've been super happy with the dryer since day one. It dries everything perfectly, it has a light in the door when you open it, the water tank is convenient to empty (or has a hose to attach and drain with the washing machine, ours is on the wrong side of the laundry so we use the tank). The filter on this thing though absolutely blows my mind. I've had GLITTER and SAND separated off the washe...Read more
d clothes into the filter. SEE ATTACHED FOR THE AMAZINGNESS OF THE SAND!!! the lint catcher also another highlight, I love that it collects in a container so I can remove and empty over the bin, rather than scooping fluff off the door and filter panel. I've used this non stop since we got it at the start of the year, it hasn't skipped a beat and was a bargain compared to any other heat pump on the market. Id also like to point out though, that this is the same as the aldi one, just rebranded to their electronics brand, and it was even cheaper if you managed to score one from there. Ours is off appliances Online, brilliant service there too, delivery install all worth the extra 70ish I paid over Aldi price. The only downside I've found is clothes will wrinkle if you forget you've dried clothes and leave them in for over a day after its finished. No issue if you fold within 12 hours though, as they're still warm.Purchased in January 2021 at Appliances Online for $600.00.

Luv this heat pump dryer
I bought it at a discount price. The other heat pump dryers are twice or more than what I paid. Great at drying clothes. No more condensation. The capacity is 7kg which is what I need for 3 children. Best dryer I ever bought. Looking forward to my electricity bills because of the energy rating.

Better than hoped for.
This dryer, at about half the price of other similar dryers, performs extremely well with plenty of programs to chose from. It operates at 850 watts making it very economical to run and it has a 2 year warranty which is longer than most of the more expensive ones.
The instruction booklet is okay, but some things will require a little extra thought.
The only con for me is that the base filter is just that - at the bottom of the unit. This can be difficult to get down to for some people so an appliance plinth may be helpful as this type of dryer ...Read more

Aldi Dryer
Fantasy machine and great value for money too.
Easy to pick up on my own. Packed very well with handles to hold it while travelling home.
I’m very happy with this purchase. Aldi products allow luxury at a budget price. Thanks Aldi Australia.

A workhorse that dries well
Dries well, comfortably handles a large load. Drying time is around 1 1/2hrs for large loads. Have only used the ‘Auto’ setting, for a range of fabric types without issue. I can’t imagine spending more money on a dryer would produce any better result. Easy to use, condenser works well with no moisture in the air, relatively quiet. Lint filter could be easier to clean, but this is a very minor consideration. Very happy with the unit.

Works great
Works perfectly, but I don't find the dial settings to be very intuitive. It should just have the heat level and dryness level. According to the instructions, I should only use the mixed load setting, or auto, but things weren't drying very well, so I stuck it on cotton standard, and my clothes came out perfect.

Great dryer, highly recommend
With smaller loads you will need to play around with settings but otherwise, excellent dryer, easy to use, huge capacity and great energy rating. Easy to clean out filter, very easy to set up.

Questions & Answers
Jess H.asked
How long does the standard automatic setting take to dry?
No answers
Meenarasked
Does the Cotton extra setting take time, mine takes around 4 hours to complete on a full load.
4 answers
It does take a while for some things to dry, 4 hours seem reasonable. What kind of washing machine you have depends as well. Top loader don't drain water from the clothes as well as front loaders.
Thanks. I have a front loader.
I just use "auto" setting & I have no problems with it :)

Also wanted to know what the door hinge is like. Is it flimsy plastic or does it feel sturdy.
1 answer
My Esatto has a very sturdy thick metal hinge on the door. I have used it regularly for more than one year now with no problems at all.
