Suggest your company develops and makes available re-fillable pods for the Espressotoria system, kindly advise asap if this will happen, because if not, I will be changing to a Nespresso system, given that re-fillable pods are already available.

Hi Michael thanks for your question.
At the moment we don't make a re-fillable pod for our Espressotoria system, however our pods are recyclable once you remove the coffee and the lid.
Cheers - The Espressotoria Team
I am already aware that you don't make re-fillable pods, and that they are recyclable, that's why I asked the question and made my comnent.
Why don't you make re-fillable pods?

Can I use a compatible pod for my machine? Where can I purchase cleaning pods similar to Clean Bean Cleaning system?

Espressotoria C.Espressotoria
Hi there Kay - Depends what kind of machine you have? Our Nespresso compatible pods are suitable for all Nespresso machines except for those that take the Vertuo pod.
Cheers - The Espressotoria Team
are Nespresso pods compatible with Espressotoria machines. New to this and there doesn't seem to be to much of a range for Espressotoria pods...not at our supermarkets anyway.
Davidasked
Hi Team, I purchased a Capino Machine at Woolworths a little over 1 year ago and only used the correct pods. Now, while the water flushes through the system during cleaning very well, the coffee no longer flows out of the machine when a coffee pod is inserted. After I opened up the machine, I discovered the cause of the problem is the small plastic disc (about the size of a 10 cent piece) with 12 "teeth" on it is no longer functional. The teeth on the disc is used to penetrate the coffee pods on the outflow side the pod, and as there are insufficient teeth left the coffee cannot escape correctly. I am certain that most customers will experience this issue as the part should have been made of metal (or ceramic) instead of plastic - a manufacturing limitation.
Can you please see if you can obtain this disc from the manufacture or let me know who (in China) manufactures this machine so i can source this part?
David

Hi David, did you ever get a response from Espressotoria? I have exactly the same issue and have removed the perforating disk. It clearly is the problem om not piercing the genuine pods deep enough. Can someone from please confirm whether these discs are separately available as it would be such a waste to put the machine in landfill just becuase of a plastic disc the size of a 10 cent piece. Come on Espressotoria, do you bit for the environment!
I now have the same problem - was this issue ever resolved ?

Is it possible to alter the heating temperature ofthe water? I have tried 4 different pod 'flavours' (italian, oro, mountain grown, and espresso) and they all come out smelling burnt and tasting bitter. I feel a slight adjustment of the temperature of the water would be helpful. Many thanks

Espressotoria C.Espressotoria
Hi there - no there is no way to alter the temperature control on our Capino machines. Have you flushed the machine with straight water prior to putting a capsule in?

I bought a Caprista for my daughter for Christmas. When we set it up it will not dispense the coffee in the cup.We wasted 5 pods thinking we were doing something wrong,The coffee was going where the pods go after they have made the coffee. If you reused a porforated pod most of the water would come out the spout but it still dripped water in the bin for the used pods. I see by the post that other people have had this problem. Can you help?

This is happening with ours now too! It’s only less than a year old I reckon. All the cleaning cycles work ok but as soon as we put a pod in, the best of it ends up in the pod container.
This is a common fault. I have just returned my second Capino to Espressotoria and hoping for a non leaking replacement

My machine is two years old and has been fantastic. However it has developed an issue. When I turn it on the two lights o top pulse as it is warming up for a few seconds then the left side light goes out and the right side light turns green pulses very quickly. Can you advise what I need to do? Ian W

Espressotoria CSEspressotoria
Hi Ian,
Generally the two lights indicate the machine is warming up.
The right side light pulsating quickly generally means the machine is exposed to a cold temperature for a prolonged period of time. The heating function disables for safety reasons.
To remedy this, switch off the machine and wait until it reaches room temperature.
Restart it once it reaches room temperature.
If the problem persists, please contact our Customer Service team on 02 8748 3600.
Kind Regards,
Hi Ian. I haven't seen green lights at all. Sorry. Cheers
Thank you for your help. The mystery is solved my machine is directly under a Air Conditioning unit. I have relocated my machine and all is well with coffee once again.

You can buy a milk frother to go with it. Contact the company and they can tell you where to buy it.

My Capino machine is two years old and Ii have dealt with the problems of lack of piercing but my machine is now pouring water out of the bottom. Can you tell me how to fix this?
John
1 answer
Espressotoria CSEspressotoria
Hi John,
Thanks for your query.
If there is a leak from the bottom, it may be there is a small crack in the internal capsule bin (where the discarded capsules fall)
It could also be the capsule bin is overfilled?
Please check the machine over for any little hard to find cracks.
Kind Regards,
Simone Bernardiasked
Do you do a mocha in the capsules if so where please?
1 answer
Espressotoria CSEspressotoria
HI Simone,
Thanks for your enquiry.
Unfortunately Espressotoria does not manufacture a Mocha coffee pod.
We do however have a drinking chocolate, 'Chococino' that can be added to your coffee to create the perfect mocha!

My machine won’t dispense coffee when you put a pod in place. It will dispense water without a pod in place. What can I do to fix this?

Have you contacted the company? They're very responsive. It sounds to me like the capsules are not being perforated at all. I'm assuming you are using the correct capsules?
Espressotoria CSEspressotoria
Hi There,
Thanks for your query.
Firstly, please confirm that you are using Espressotoria branded capsules only?
If you are, there could be an issue with the piercing function.
Please give our Customer Service team a call on 1300 393 895 and they will troubleshoot the problem for you.
Have a great day!
Mine did the same. I returned it and got another machine.
Sadly it did the same thing. I returned it for a refund and purchased a different machine.
No problems now.

I've had the unit for about 3 months. It appears the pump has failed. A team/hissing sound can be heard internally and the lights go blue from stand by, but no water or machine sound can be heard when pressed. All round a solid little unit, but not built to last. Any suggestions?

Hi Ray,
Thanks for your enquiry.
Have you tried descaling the machine? You can use any descaler from your local supermarket.
We have a troubleshooting guide online that also gives instructions on how to descale.
If you go to Espressotoria.com.au and scroll to the bottom of the screen, you will find a tab 'SUPPORT'
Under that tab are all the user manuals.
If the problem continues, please contact our customer service team on 1300 393 895
Kind Regards,
Thanks for the reply. The issue is that when either cup button is pressed no machine/pump sound can be heard, or water passed. I have read the manual and followed the troubleshooting. According to the guide it's a pump failure. being that I purchased the unit on sale for $50 and still have receipt, would I be better served to just buy another weighed against cost of repair or would it be covered?, Looking at just buying a replacement due to the above.

I have bought caprista yesterday and bought cafespresso capsules with it, I tried it and the taste was great, however the capsules are falling in, in order to put it in place I reach inside from the tray side and hold it in the middle, is this a capsule size problem or I’m missing a piece?

Hi Eli,
The Caprista coffee machine is compatible only with 'Espressotoria' branded capsules,
It sounds as though you may be using incompatible capsules?
