Thanks to Meyer Cookware Australia for your prompt action.
I haven't actually used these saucepans yet but I just want to say thank you to Meyer Cookware Australia. I managed to damage the handles on our 25 year old set of Essteele saucepans. When I asked about replacement handles they said they couldn't replace so would send replacement saucepans instead. I have just received them today and I am delighted with them. Just goes to show the importance of keeping paperwork - which I had done in relation to the 'Lifetime' guarantee. My hubby laughed and said who keeps paperwork for 25 years - me!!

Fantastic cookware, highly recommend!
After much deliberation & comparing to other stainless steel sets I choose the Essteele Per Vita range, and I am super happy with my choice. The copper bottom means it heats up faster than my previous cookware. They have a no drip lip, which is fabulous for a messy person like me.
If you have not used stainless steel frypans before I recommend watching youtube videos on the water test. It shows you how to make your frypan non stick & ultimately not burn the pots. Anything that does get stuck is easily removed by de-glazing the pan & some bark...Read more

Great review. However
I bought an essteele pan because it had the best review.
People said it is easy to clean, but every time I cook food with oil, brown residue gets stuck on the surface and it is extremely difficult to clean. I tried boiling with baking soda but it is really difficult to get things off.
Actually I have to use baking soda every time I cook with the pan.
The pan is pretty non-stick, which is awesome, and I didn't expect that from a stainless steel pan.
I use very low heat as I aware of oil burning on the surface.
Can someone let me know how to...Read more

Beautifully crafted cookware
Got two sauce pans, a pot and the non-stick fry pan. My wife and I have bought so many different types of expensive brands and this is by far the best. The copper base conducts heat so fast that you end up burning the food the first couple of time. Water heats up alot quicker than our old Tefal pots. The pots are heavy but that's all part of good cookware. My wife has no problem with the hanldes being hot, she manages without a tea towel. In our dishwasher we simply point the handles downwards. We considered the Baccarac range only because they...Read more
were cheaper but the extra expense of the copper base in the Esteele, the beauty of the cookware and the simple fact that it is not made in China sold us. Bought them for a 40% discount. Even and fast heat distibution, shiny and beautiful, easily cleaned without effort, heavy duty handles and bolts, dishwasher safe, Not made in China

the fry pan with the non-stick coating has started to stick really badly. There are no scratches or abrasions on the surface and we have always used plastic utensils.

found out that you aren't support to put it under the griller....also done in my house.
We have replaced this fry pan with an equivalent one from the same range.....but it does not have any non-stick surface.....should last for a decade or two

Reasonable quality but...
These are solid saucepans but I dislike the hollow handles which come out of the dishwasher full of water that then spills onto the floor, another surface or yourself. This should have been anticipated and prevented in the design process.
The handle on top of the large stock pot gets so hot, you can end up dropping it or burning your hand.
For the money, these critical finishing details should not be presenting the ongoing problems they do with every use.
Fairly even distribution of heat
Handles filling with water in dishwasher; handle dangerously hot to touch; makes it difficult to use every time

Fabulous cookware -- sorry I didn't find it sooner!
I was skeptical about Essteele. I have bought (and thrown away) cookware time and time again because they didn't live up to the promise -- and cookware companies basically don't stand behind the product when it chips, peels, silicon handles shrink/loosen, etc.
This cookware is the best I've ever used. It holds the heat, cleans up easily (I didn't think 18/10 stainless would -- but it does!!) and looks nice on the stove. Yes, the handles on the stockpot do get hot when using high heat, but a silicon mitt takes care of that. I own 5 sa...Read more
ucepans and 3 stock pots. AND -- when I read reviews about the 'per vita' warranty -- I thought "I've got nothing to lose." I will have this cookware until I die (which hopefully will be a very very long time!) Easy clean up, holds the heat, looks goodSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

No where near as good as the original
I purchased these to replace my 18yr old essteele sill craft pots and pans(nothing wrong with them just getting old and handles fading and can't be replaced under lifetime guarantee. Per vita is heavy, handles are hot to touch, there is only one steamer to use on two sized saucepans, the steamer should have a long handle like the original handle much easier to use and carry across to the sink. Thick base takes longer to heat than original esteele copper based pots. My advice to anyone with the original esteele hang on to them and don't put the...Read more
m in the dishwasher. The current company have purchased the name esteele they have nothing to do with the original company. New company not at all helpful when dealing with lifetime warranty of old pots. Looks good that's about all Per vita is heavy, handles are hot to touch, inner baseSimilar opinion? Looks just as good
Per Vita, Another line to add to our mostly old form Essteele pots and pans. This is a risotto pan with lid. Would be good as a deep general sauté pan though I have only yet used it for risotto. It never really occurred to me that I needed something particular for risotto and I am not really sure that I do but this worked very well.
With, now, a pretty vast array of Essteele cookware forming the core of our cookware I can reflect upon the differences. We probably have one or a couple from each type though mostly old (20 odd years.) The Belli...Read more
simo version which appears to have similar basic form to this I did not take to. Too bulbous to my eye. Over the top where Essteele have always been straight forward. This is not very apparent with the risotto pan fortunately. The originals are stainless steel with a distinct copper base. The handles changed a little here and there, were good and long lasting but not particularly pretty. More recent handles and 'knobs' have been appealing. The silicone ones work nicely leastwise since purchase. This Per Vita range does not have silicone but decent, good looking handles anyway. It uses stainless steel with a copper base protected by another sheet of stainless steel on the bottom face showing an edge of copper. That works nicely. If anything I prefer the line of perhaps a decade ago which fully encapsulated the copper base as it is a bit easier to clean but all are good. Like all that went before this model I expect it will last a lifetime or two giving good service all the way. Works and looks good. Makes you feel assured of very long term use. None that are apparent to me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Brilliant cookware set
Looking for something that will last me for some time to come, the knowledgeable cookware lady at David Jones ushered me away from the likes of the glossy Kitchen-Aid pots and showed me the Estelle set. She had a set that had lasted her decades and this one was also thankfully 40% off. The outside is a gleaming polished stainless with a copper strip at the base for even heat distribution. I had said I was thinking of cast iron pots, but the incredible weight makes that fairly un-realistic and the copper base helps distribute the heat evenly. T...Read more
he curved lip helps pour with no spills and actually works. The handles don't heat up to the point of being to warm which is what you want. For the price, $250, I don't think you can do better. I thought the handles were hollow and allowed water to enter but the handle is blocked just under the hook hole so this isn't an issue. I wouldn't my set in the dishwasher, but apparently they are ok for that too. I've since seen the larger stock pots but as they're not on sale they are quite pricey! Maybe one day... Fantastic quality.
Love my essteele per vita cookware. Top quality. Beautiful thick copper bases. All stainless steal. Easy pour rims. A pleasure to cook with. I bought these because of essteele's renowned quality and I think these really will last a lifetime. They have had some great specials on these at House, Myers and David Jones every now and then so I look out for these to add another top quality piece to my collection.
Great quality.
Water does get caught inside the handles in the dishwasher.

Brilliant Cookware
I was looking for quality cookware for a long time, I wanted solid handles, solid bases with copper for even heating. I wanted lids and pots to have no edges that grime and food can get easily stuck in. I brought a small 4 piece set from myer and returned a week later to get the ones i didn't have. I would highly recommend this cookware, Im so happy i waited as i knew it had to be out there somewhere.
All stainless with copper base, can put straight in oven, no lips or edges for food to stick in, solid construction, aswell as being great looking

My 30 cm Essteele saute pan has been my main pan for about 15 years. However the bottom layers are now separating when heated on the stove. Can I get repaired? Will I replace? I don't remember if I filled out the warrantee. Any point in trying? Can't even remember where I bought it!
