do you do delivery of the coil mattress in a box to homes
Hi Aldi,
Where are your Estelle mattresses made?
Most mattresses have a 10-year warranty, yours is only one year. Explain why that is so please!
Many thanks
can i still purchase the estelle mattress im in adelaide
You might be lucky. It went off sale yesterday. Phone your local Aldi and ask.
Go into your nearest Aldi, (as you cannot ring) and ask the manager to find your nearest availability in another store. Atleast thats what I did 2 weeks after the 'Special Buy' release date and I was successful.
How long does it take to be ready for sleeping
The instructions say 24 hours but my toddler slept on it after 12 hours and it was fine.
Slept in it in 4hrs was fab
Luv it
what if i dont like it... can i return it
Can you put an electric blanket on theses mattresses?
Is the double estelle mattress firm, medium or soft?
Are they any good for hot sleepers
I'm a hot sleeper and I found that the mattress retains body heat probably due to the memory foam and synthetic cover, so In that respect it didn't work for me but I turned the mattress over, added a Dunlop Gold "egg carton" foam topper and found that I didn't get so hot underneath and still felt comfortable overall.
What size is the box for a double mattress
Do the mattresses fit IKEA bed frames? Some of the sizing seems to be 1-3cm out? But will the fit?
No they don't fit they are slightly too small.Best bet is to get an Ikea mattress for the Ikea frame or else buy a cheap frame from Amart or the like instead.
Would anyone recommend this mattress for a 5 year old
Sure why not? Little ones can sleep on most anything. However if its too firm (its around 7 out of 10 for firmness ) then a fluffy mattress topper on top of it would solve that issue.
Is Estelle Mattress Australian made ?
Would like to know if the Aldi Estelle mattress is Australian made ?
Probably German as most of their products are German. Call the after sales support and ask them 1300 777 137. (I was in Aldi yesterday checking them out and took a photo of the box which included this number).
Made in China. States it on the box
HI to you Guys,, can you tell me how i can get a Double mattress in Brisbane ?
Where can I buy your mattress?
I am after another double mattress does anyone know if any aldi's have any left
Me too. I am waiting for their next mattress special, in the hope they'll offer a double size again, instead of just king, queen and single sizes. It sounds like we're both going to be waiting until next year, unfortunately.
They’re coming back on the 10th of July :)
Phone your local Aldi and ask them!
I bought a mattress last night and it had a very toxic smell. Does anyone know how to deal with this issue?
Could you use this mattress in a sofa bed???
I doubt it. After it's been unsealed, it's rather rigid. Seems like a great mattress at first pass. Still airing it out 12 hours after purchase, but it's not as intense as some other "bed it a box" options I've seen up close. Would buy again! :)
What warrantry do they have please?
Hi, We purchased 2 of these (Kings) last year but they haven't been here (Prahan in Melbourne) since. When will they arrive again, please?
Rgds,
Mac
Hi Mac there isnt really any way of knowing for sure when the mattresses will show up. You could try calling head office for information but other than that all you can do is keep a look out in the catalogue each week.
Coming back 10th of July
The mattresses are on sale NOW Mac. Phone your local store to see if they have any in stock.
Estelle Mattrass in a box... SINGLE size. If used as a spare mattrass, can it be stored on its side during day and then used flat at night...will it go out of shape or is it ok?
Probably not although you could do it in an emergency. Its never a good idea to store a mattress on its side as a regular thing. Foams springs etc inside can move and make the mattress unusable.
How squishy are these mattresses please? I have a supposed queen size timber bed base that a mattress drops down into a recess & the bed base is only 1.49m wide. The catalogue says the QS mattresses are 1.52m wide so I'm just wondering if I'd be able to squish it in or would it be too firm to do that? I have a normal innerspring mattress on the base at the moment which is a tad too wide & it was extremely difficult to squish it in so it sits IN the base which now means I can't tuck the sheets in. I'm hoping that if I bought one of these Aldi ones I'd be able to tuck the sheets in.
It's not so squishy, about 1cm each side before you hit the springs, should be ok though since I measured mine to be 1.48m on the bottom, the foam topper part extends out a bit more to 1.52m
