Does its job, but needs to be quieter
I bought this fridge in February 2022. Got it set up in the dining room and switched it on. The compressor and fans were pleasantly quiet, the unit emitting the faintest of hums. After a few seconds, though, the fridge began making a roaring noise (similar to water flowing through a kinked hose) that could be heard throughout the house. I gave it a week to see if it would either settle down or blow up, but it did neither. I lodged a service request, and the technician agreed that the noise was unusual and excessive. At this point, I assume that this is a limitation of the design or manufacturing process, so there's probably not much more can be done for it. The fridge does its job in keeping wines ready-to-serve, but in the dining room it's noisy enough to disrupt conversation. Over time I have learned to live with it, but I still feel the need to apologise to my guests when they ask about "that noise." Hidden away in a kitchen or wine cellar, it would probably be quite ok, just not right where you're entertaining - but isn't that where you want your ready-to-serve wines?Questions & Answers
We purchased a Euro165 btl wine fridge a year ago. The temp display for the lower section has just shot up from the 12 C degree setting to show 31 C. The upper level is still fine at it's nominated setting. How do I find a technician to have a look and repair the machine?
