Terrible
Evans Clarke auction was once good but now they are crap. They make up lame RRP. Im starting to feel they purchase cheap crap themselves then make up some RRP price and try to flog it off.

Do not use!!!! Rude and potentially selling stolen Apple products!!
I wish I had read this review site before buying an apple product from them.
I brought an I-Pad from them in December and due to X Mas and living 2.5 hrs away I was only able to really look at it in February.
The auction site described this iPad as working and with an image referring that it was good to go and freshly wiped, so Really I put my trust in them and stored it in my electronics lab thinking all is going to be ok.
So to my surprise when I went to set up the Ipad it was account bound and locked, I called them straight away and was ...Read more
told that someone would call me back........nope no one called me back! so I brought it in, How stupid I was to think that anyone there would help or at least treat me with a little bit of respect. The lady at the counter didn't understand that because this IPad was locked it could potentially be stolen or lost, all she could do was reply that no it's not, so after a back and forth conversation that was like talking to a brick wall she finally rang up someone to come out and talk to me, mistake number two!!! The little guy that came out, that I thought will be a better help and finally understand this situation how wrong was I!! He came out with such an attitude and referred to me that the Ipad was not locked and I must have given it to someone or done it myself. He then proceeded to tell me that I should have brought it in sooner and that 2 months was too long, and I understand that it was a long time but it was over X mas and I would have never thought it could be a potentially stolen/lost Ipad...anyway I then asked him for future reference how long I have to bring it in and he could not give me a straight answer, all he could say was a lot less than 2 months. So with all that said and done, I asked him if they could maybe try and get in contact with the seller and ask for them to unlock it, I got a straight-out NO with a smirk on his face like he was enjoying winding me up, the reason was that it would be impossible to find out who owned the iPad AS THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF WHERE IT CAME FROM now that is suspicious!Similar opinion? Honest testimony of regular customer
They'll probably know who I am since I'm a regular customer who's contacted & given them feedback directly & more recently.
Occassionally a good online auction site to purchase items in Adelaide if something good comes along. But below will detail the bad elements of their items for sale.
1) Once I drove an hour from one location to be able to get there by 4pm before they closed. I was really annnoyed as one of their staff started to close the main gate 5 minutes before closing time, so I had to rush to their back gate whilst driving erractic...Read more
ally to make it in. When I got to the counter 2mins before their actual closing time, I was told by the tattooed lady who I don't think works there any longer that their staff had gone home for the day. Which was BS since they open to customers from 8:30am so their staff should be available to at least service the last customers until 16:30pm. I was told to come back the following day which I couldn't as I work & I was given the option to turn up on Saturday to pay & collect. 2) I've already emailed once before to give feedback & I got no reply. I mentioned that their staff should use more common sense when selling IT hardware specifically toner cartridges that come in opened boxes. But since I cannot afford the time to go onsite to inspect items myself then someone using common sense would know by looking at the item whether it was used. I've bought 3 items such as this which should have been binned. I once bought one toner that actually had written on it that it was meant to go to recycling! 3) It appears that their staff are stripping IT hardware to increase the number of items available for sale. If items were complete with power supplies/ram/hdd then it would be of more value to buyers & worthy of buying.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
