Better off with a different brand.
With the frother attachment it makes ridiculous amounts of froth, and with the normal attachment the milk looks more like bubbly detergent. The first one I bought was returned because it stopped working. The temperature of the milk is quite inconsistent, too. If you're serious about one of these machines, I would suggest saving up for a little longer and buying a better brand.
Cheap.
Really inconsistent results.

Makes a good froth when it works correctly
The jug is very small so it only makes one small mug of hot frothy milk. When it works properly, the froth is perfect and the temperature is hot. Half the time the milk would spill out over the top of the jug so all the froth would be lost and I'm left with half a mug of milk, regardless of whether I filled the jug to the minimum or maximum line. When frothing another jug of milk for a second time to fill my mug, the milk never frothed properly. The jug is supposed to sit for a few minutes before using it again, but I'm too impatient. r five months we were wondering if maybe the brand of milk had something to do with the overflowing. I only ever used Woolworths brand lite milk or Coles brand lite milk. The jug lasted five-and-a-half months before I was about to make my nightly hot chocolate and discovered it no longer operated at all, no power, nothing. Good froth, inexpensive unit Capacity is too small, worked for 5 months, overflowed half the timeSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Fantastic should have brought many back to NZ for gifts
So handy, price is perfect for what the same thing would be in NZ great for hot chocolates especially for the kids they love the froth. Hot milk and frother works for me and friends I have just had baileys into as well so very nice would recommend to purchase
Inexpensive easy to use and clean

Makes for only 1 cup!
While this is a cheaper version of the Nespresso milk warmer, it max level is low so you can spend a lot of time frothing milk when you make more than 1 cup. The froth though is nice but you can't froth and have hot milk at the same time which you can with the Nespresso warmer.
Cheaper than others
Can only make milk for one cup at a time.

Broken product
This was a present and although i was happy to start with, i have to agree with the other reviewers, 1 cup is a real hassle. So ive been using this for about a week and now it just stopped working. I'm going to exchange it and give another one a shot, as i hear most of the others are just as iffy.
Better to have heated milk than none
Only 1 cup and broke too soon.

Good little machine for the price
By the looks of the reviews here, the machine doesn't seem to have a consistency between each machine. For example, some complain that the milk doesn't reach 70 degrees, others say that the paddle starts to turn as soon as you turn it on, others say that the paddle or the whisker spin too fast, hence you get too much froth even though you don't fill the milk to the required height that will allow it not to spill. It looks to be a hit and miss situation. If you get one that works, it works well. I have one of those, the only issue is mine doesn'...Read more
t reach the 70 degrees, it probably gets to 60, but I like my drinks warm, not hot, but that is personal preference. The sad thing about the machine is that it only holds one cup worth of milk, if you use the paddle and not the frother. But if you want it just for frothed milk it would be fine. Mine had been in the house for 12 months and get's used once or twice a day and hasn't had a problem, other people's seem to break down. I use lite and full cream milk and it does the same job with both. So in short it is a bit of pot luck. If you get one that works, great, if you don't, you can blame the quality testers on this one. I really like mine. Price, the removable top part of the machine means it is easily cleaned, froths the milk well, the teflon on the inside is durable, looks good, so far reliable. Only holds one cups worth of milk on the paddle setting, milk burns a little on the bottom.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great addition the the Aldi Expressi coffe machine
I bought the Expressi milk frother when I bought my expressi coffee machine from Aldi. I usually drink cappacino's so I initially used the frothy whisk attachment and the milk came out very frothy, a little too frothy for my liking, so I started to used the other black attachment which provides a better heated milk with a little bit of froth on top. I like that it isn't directly attached to the power cord, it's like a cordless kettle.
I like the preset timer, you just put the milk in and press the button and it does it's thing, while it's do...Read more
ing that I make my coffee. However if I'm making coffee for friends and family, it's a bit frustraing it will only hold enough for 1 cup only, and it can make it time consuming to make a few coffees at once. I haven't used other heated milk frothers, but mine slightly burns the milk in the bottom of the mug, and I have to clean the scum off the bottom of the mug everytime. Not sure if this happens with other milk frothers too.... Good price, nice warm frothy milk, conveniant. Only froths enough for 1 coffee at a time, slightly burns the milk in the bottom of the jug and leaves a milk scum.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Expressi Milk Frother
After used it for around 10 times, the machine became malfunction. Timer/switch on the machine doesn't working anymore. The machine start to run as soon as turn on the power, even without switch "on" yet. I have to turn off the power instead of switch "off" first as the instruction says.(It supposed to flash lights and turn off it self in 90 seconds).
I wasn't that lucky, couldn't get it changed in the shop because it's over ALDI's limited time for "in store help". I did't use it straight away after purchase but sometime later. I was told t...Read more
hat I have to contact the manufacture and post it to them my self. (For $20 ? Forget it) This is a lesson for me, I don't want to purchase any electronic products in ALDI in the future because of the poor quality and poor service. Good price, make nice milk froth when the machine still working.1 comment
Depending on the time you waited, that sounds illegal under uniform Aust consumer law. Everyone should be aware that the retailer cannot require you to deal with the manufacturer direct.

Didn't last long and pretty poor froth
I bought the Espressi coffee machine and so I bought the frother as well. The froth was either far too frothy using the cappuccino tool or not frothy enough using the other tool. You could never really have good milk from it. Then the frothing attachment broke within a couple of months, so I used the non-frothing one, and then the machine itself malfunctioned and was running so slow it didn't froth. It is cheap but not worth the hassle.
Inexpensive
Poor froth, short life

Expressi White Milk Frother
Bought the white milk frother pretty good froths the milk up nicely to a creamy consistency. I advise frothing the milk up first when using your coffee machine as the milk takes a little longer than the coffee make sure you use the measure guide inside the jug if you put too much milk it will over flow.
Froths the milk up nice and creamy skim milk will be a little airy but still nice.
you can only make milk froth 1 cup at a time.

It broke on on 8th or 9th use :-(
1.5 weeks and less than 10 uses later the machine is broken :-)
Basically something gone wrong with electronics as as soon as plugged into the socket it starts spinning like crazy so we have to turn it off at the wall. It also makes it impossible to select the functions we want so it will go back to the store and thank God I kept the receipt in a safe place so I do not have to worry about geting it exchanged.
OK, yes, I did say 'exchanged' as I will give it one more chance as other than breaking down on me it did make great foam and it i...Read more
s a great design, looks good and is functional and love that it is cordless plus easy to clean. Now, I agree with some of the other reviews that temperature wise it is not hitting the 70degrees every time and I have resorted to microvawing mine a couple of times - butI am also writing that off to potentially my not using it properly maybe seeing it does have a few different functions and settings which admitably I did not bother reading through too much. The froth it makes is absolutely great consistency wise so this camper it not happy at the prospect of having to exchange the appliance after mere 8-9 uses but a family member has had one for months now and uses it several times each day with no problems so I am willing to give it another go hoping mine was a 'lemon' and not 'the norm' for this little machine. I mean, afterall it is backed by ALDI and they are good about standing behind their products so happy to give it a whirl and will report how the replacement pans out :-) great design, quiet, cordless, easy to clean, price broke down after several uses onlySimilar opinion? Good for the price
Ok, this is a machine that does do the job well - however if you fill it up a little bit too much - even just a touch too much, it will overflow. But if you put in just the right amount then it works perfectly and really gives a major froth!! my daughter uses it more than me cos i can't be bothered cleaning it all the time - and if you have visitors, then you are stuck doing it one at a time!!
great froth
only makes one cup at a time, and can easily overflow

Waste of money to heat milk
Am returning my fourth and last machine, I thought originally I was not using it correctly as the instructions said it would heat up to 70 degrees but coffee always came out warm, not hot, finally checked using coffee milk thermometer and found the temp ranged from 55 degress to max 60 degrees, might be good to make warm chocolate but not a replacement for steam wand on coffee machine
it froths very well
obviously the thermostats are set incorrectly to be so consistent on each machine

disappointed
Our son bought us the coffee machine and frother for Xmas. We cannot stop the frother overflowing everywhere even though we do not overfill - it spills out of the spout dent at the front - a shame that we have to take it back The coffee is good from the coffee machine - shame about the frother
looks good
does not work

Returned it after two weeks of disapointment
We love the coffee machine. Use it daily. But the milk frother was just a waste of time. We followed the instructions to the letter and still had problems with milk overflowing every time, and no, we were not over filling it and we were waiting two minutes between milk batches. When we returned it, we discovered there were a lot of returns for the same problem. Microwave and a whisk will do for us.
looks good, not bulky

Does the job
After seeing positive reviews for this I decided to buy one and give it a go, after my 5 yr old Nespresso frother died, as it's about a 1/5th of the price! But was quickly dissapointed in comparison and now know that you get what you pay for. Although it worked fine the major flaw for me was that the consistency of the milk froth was not how it should be which spoiled the whole coffee experience. I ended up buying another Nespresso brand.
Very cheap, looks nice.
Thick and whipped like consistency, froth is stiff and difficult to pour out then drink as it doesn't mix in well with the coffee and you end up with 1/3 cup of froth still sitting in the bottom after finishing it.Takes a while to heat/froth up and it's a bit bulky.

Great accessory to the Aldi Expressi Machine
I purchased the milk frother as an accessory to the Aldi Expressi machine and i couldn't be more happier with my purchase! It heats the milk consistantly and to a nice heat (not too hot). It has two attachments one for heating and one for heating and frothing. Skim milk tends to froth better than full cream. It's quick and super easy to use! Great price of only $25. I also ad hot chocolate powder to the milk and then it makes great hot chocolate! Only negative is you have to wipe it ckean after each use because the milk can burn a little on the bottom but it literally only takes 30 seconds to clean.
Easy to use and heats milk consistantly
Make sure you cean/wipe it after each use

Coffee Frother makes your coffee taste like you're in a cafe
The Aldi Milk Frother, sold as an accessory for their coffee machine really is first class. It consistently heats the milk to the right temperature without overheating, making it drinkable straight away. It is so simple and easy to clean that it is an essential accessory to accompany your Aldi coffee machine. It also makes for awesome hot chocolate in the coffee machine too.
Price, consistent performance, easy to clean.
bottom of the heater occasionally burns the milk and needs to be washed after every use.

Great product, easy use & great results!
This is the milk frother from Aldi. It is such an easy to maintain product. So super easy to clean and the froth is to die for! We have been very happy since purchasing this! We find that it is fast and incredible quiet!! Our only negative is that it isn't very big.. You need to a separate jug for each hot chic or coffee.
Quiet, effective, inexpensive and easy to clean
Small amount at a time..

I use Milk Lab for Almond milk and it works fine
I have since mastered it. I was using the wrong frother thing in the bottom. I now use the one with the “spring” around it and it is working fine. The froth just doesn’t stray frothy as long as cows milk

What is the best way to clean this frother to get the brown gunk off.
5 answers
I found the best way was to throw it away and get a better frother
I took mine back. It frothed and heated OK the first time, after which it didn't froth or heat. I never had a problem with brown gunk, which I presume is burned milk solids, because mine didn't heat at all.
I find it ok to clean with some dishwashing liquid and wash as normal. I leave it to dry standing so the water doesnt get into the bottom electric part

Great product which I got more then 6 months use from until it just decided to stop heating the milk as of yesterday. Cheap but won't last the distance.
