Kris Oasked
Hi twice now I have purchased new remotes as the light section works but the fan does not. This solved the problem for a short time but now again I have bought two more remotes (more than $380 in remotes) to find I have the same issue as many other people here. It’s light on and full fan or off at the wall and no light.so either I am freezing or I am in the dark. New remotes work perfectly in the other rooms, so I know it’s the actual fan that is the issue. We are using a torch now in our bedroom. Our fans are about six years old now. How can I solve this problem. Is there a way to disable the fan?? So I’m not in the dark at night

Hi Kris
Thank you for your question, this really would be something that only a licensed electrician would be able to answer or carry out the works on, therefore my recommendation would be to contact your electrician and discuss this directly with him or her

One of 2 remote fsnways has stopped working properly. The light turns on and off but can't turn off fan or adjust fan speed. I isolate it via the, wall switch. I guess it's the receiver that has failed. What do they cost and who replaces it?
1 answer
Customer S.Fanaway
Hi George, replacement remotes can be sourced from your closest Beacon Lighting store, depending on the fan you have and how many years you have had it, it maybe under warranty. I would suggest you contact the store directly with the SKU number of the fan, and if the remote was purchased, the SKU no. of this and they will be able to assist you with costing, Debbie - Fanaway Customer Service

My eco 1 fan away has developed a wobble on setting 1, switch to 2 and it seems to steady considerably, wondering how to rectify this
2 answers
Customer S.Fanaway
Hi Hugh, I would suggest you look at the screws holding the fan to the ceiling to ensure they are tight and that the mounting bracket is tight, not loose in the ceiling. The blades may need readjusting, if you PM us at [email protected], we can provide instructions on blade replacement/placement, Debbie - Fanaway Customer Service
Thanks will investigate further.

Martin B.asked
I recently purchase an EV01 LED fan. It was installed by a Beacon Lighting recommended Electrician. The problem is that the fan turns itself off after running for a while. This is very evident at night when the fan is left running all night. Is there a timer in the fan that will turn the fan off after a certain time?
Thank you
Martin
1 answer
Customer S.Fanaway
Hi Martin, the included remote has a set of dip switches and somebody near by may have the same number set on their fan & remote and this is turning your fan off. Please change your 4 numbers to match in the remote and the receiver unit found in the canopy. If you would like the operating instructions on how to do this, please email us: [email protected]

How do I remove the cover off the light to clean It has become quite yellow in colour
3 answers
Just twist the cover to remove it. We had no luck cleaning the yellow and had to replace the cover.
Many thanks. Where did you buy the new cover, beacon have told us they do not sell replacement covers
Customer S.Fanaway
We do sell some replacement covers, it will depend on what year you purchased your fan ie the model type as some of the older ones are not available now. Please advise the Beacon Lighting store the SKU number of the fan you have, the colour of the fan and also what wattage fluro tube you have as this will determine if the cover is still available. Why didn't anyone tell me that you need TWO people to clean the blades when I bought the fan. I live on my own and there is no possible way for me to be able to clean the blades properly.
