Good choice
Had to replace A faulty ceiling fan and opted for the Fanco Horizon. Fan came very quickly after placing the order and I installed it that day (I'm an electrician).
The installation was simple and trouble free. The fan operation is faultless as is the CCT light which allows 3 different colour temperatures to be selected. The fan is silent in operation apart from the expected air noise at higher speeds, much different from any AC fans I've installed.
Very happy with installation, operation and looks of the fan.

Nice-looking fan and it pumps out air
We are really happy with this fan. The airflow appears exceptional. It is very quiet as well. On the low setting it works much better than the old fan on high. The price point is reasonable as well.

Perfect fan for my needs
This 64" ceiling fan performs exceptionally well and nothing I found compares at this price point. I found this fan to have incredibly good airflow - as much as the more expensive 70" fan I have installed in my master bedroom - with minimal wobble. The 3 Horizon DC fans I had installed are on high, raked ceilings so the fact that the fan came with the two extension rods suited me very nicely. I love the timer function that allows you to fall asleep with the fan on, but have it automatically switch off later in the night. On speed settings 1 thr...Read more
ough 3 the fan is very quiet, but it does get a little noisy on settings 4 and 5. However, it wasn't any noisier than other fans I looked at for this price point. My 70" fan is quieter on the highest speed, however, it was considerably more expensive than the Horizon DC and does not have the timer function. On speed setting 3 the Horizon pushes enough air that I don't think you'd need to use speed 4 or 5 except on very hot nights.1 comment

Questions & Answers
Woppa007asked
I have an outdoor deck which is covered by a balcony above out to 2.2 metres. The ceiling is around 2.9 metres high so I was wondering whether the Horizon 64” would be a good option as it seems to have the highest airflow? Is it available in Australia with the wall mount kit.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Horizon actually comes with two rod lengths in the box, so you can choose how high you’d like to install it without buying accessories. Australian standards require for the fans blades to be at least 2.1m above the ground, but you will still feel the breeze from a fan if it’s a little higher. We’ve found that we get the most out of fans if their blades sit somewhere between 2.1 and 2.5m above the ground.
For your situation, using the shorter length rod in the Horizon box will put the base of your fan around 2.525m above the ground, and the longer one will place the fan about 2.4 from the ground. If you’d like it a little closer, you could purchase the 90cm longer rod as an accessory and have your electrician cut it down to the exact length you want.
We're working as hard as we can to make the model with wall control available to our customers. At this stage though, we don't have a concrete timeline. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us by emailing [email protected] .

Hi I have a room around 6 x 7 metres and it includes living, dining and kitchen. I was wondering if the Fanco HOrizon 64 inch would be big enough to cool the room or if I should get 3 smaller ones? thanks for your help, Fiona

if you call one of the suppliers they should be able to answer this question to you. We have the horizon in nearly all of our rooms and they are really effective.

Hi Fiona,
Thanks for reaching out, it sounds like quite a big room! There’s no hard and fast rule when it comes to ceiling fan sizes, but we can give you a couple of tips. Generally speaking, a fan covers an area around 2.5 times its diameter. So although the 64” Horizon provides coverage to a big space, it won’t cover the whole room. The key with any size ceiling fan is placing it in the area where you will get the most use out of it – and the advantage of going with 3 smaller fans is that you get to choose 3 areas that you use a lot.
It’s probably a good idea to measure out 64” vs the smaller sizes in your space, so that you get an idea of what it will look like.
