    Can't stand the noise!

    published

Loved this fridge for the first two years but then just out of warranty it started making horrendously loud vibrating noise. At first only when it was full, but now most of the time. It is so loud that I feel like I'm living with a jet engine going on in my house constantly. Awful. I expected way more from Fisher and paykel.

I have an E402B. Water is leaking from behind the dispensing nozel. About 50% of the water is being correctly dispenced, the rest runs from behind the nozel down the door. Is it possible to get the dispenser off to check for the leak or is it a service job?

my girlfriend also bought a fisher and paykel and she had what you have happening
it is a service job but you will have to wait 10 days as they are either so busy or just not enough repair men for their fridges
it shows that the product is not up to scratch doesn't it

Suzie, what facts or comparison proof do you have to make such a claim of not being "up to scratch"?
Or are you belittling others to make you look good?

We have a E402b Left Hand and cannot remove the bottom freezer draw as it seems stuck. Is there an easy way to remove these draws?

It has ice on the runners.
let the freezer warm up and put grease on the tracks where the little ball bearings are.

    Zed,

I'm no fridge expert but it all depends on how long since you've adjusted the temperature? I do know the thermostat is not designed to be adjusted too often but if you are to adjust it's recommend only doing so every 24hrs.

If you wish to alter the temperature of either the fresh food compartment or freezer compartment, this can be easily done by using the control panel located at the back of the fresh food compartment.
The fresh food compartment light on the refrigerator diagram will be showing. The temperature indicator illustrated by a thermometer will show the temperature setting for this compartment as a series of lights.
■■ The temperature may be altered by pressing the ^ or v buttons. One press on either of these buttons will produce a dimmer light which indicates a small change in temperature.
■■ Pressing either button twice gives a brighter light and indicates a greater change in temperature.
■■ Fewer lights on the thermometer means a cooler temperature for the compartment selected.
