Poorly designed not recommended for family.
Poorly designed machine.
- detergent flap won’t open if plates are placed in front of dispenser. Even though there is a plate rack in this position
- standard plates don’t fit with upper draw in normal position
- Upper draw has to be raised to higher position otherwise washing arm will hit plates
- standard bowls and glasses won’t fit in top drawer when in higher position.
- wine glasses have to be placed in lower draw as they don’t fit in top drawer. Only room for 4 glasses
- cutlery drawer doesn’t fit large knives or tongs.
I invite any Fisher & Paykel rep to stack my dishwasher after dinner one night. It’s like playing Tetris but way more frustrating

Good choice
I am very happy with this dishwasher, it is energy efficient and water efficient as well. really easy to use, the cycle options are great quick cycle option is awesome. gets baked on food off really easy and keeps your dishes really shiny. Saves my lot of time from busy schedule.

Happy with the dishwasher
We had this dishwasher for 8 months now and it has been great. We have not experienced anything wrong with it and are very happy. We use powder not tablets and also add rinse aid. A couple of times the powder was still int he dispenser but when I read the instruction manual it happens because of the presence of water in the dispenser. I always close the dispenser cover after the cycle has finished before I unpack my dishwasher. No trouble at all. Love the time indication and the program selection is very easy.

So Very Disappointed!!
I bought this dishwasher 6months ago and it has been nothing but trouble. Within the first few days I noticed that the tablet wasn't dissolving and then my dishwasher flooded. The technician that came to my house explained that the plastic coating on the recommended finish tablet sticks to the inside of the tablet dispenser, and so I should just put the tablet in the bottom of the machine. He said that a piece of broken glass was blocking the filter and so the machine could not empty. The next wash after he left, the same thing happened and an...Read more
other guy came back and found another piece of glass (only one glass has ever broken in our machine). I needed to call back the technician again because the machine wasn't washing well again, and got told he couldn't find a problem!! AHHH!! We are a very busy house of 6 with 4 teenage daughters, its not unusual to have 20+ people for dinner. A working dishwasher is vital! I contacted the company who I have purchased this from and voiced my complaints. They have contacted Fisher and Paykel, who have said that my issues are customer misuse! I bought the dishwasher because I already own a Fisher and Paykle fridge and washing machine and have been delighted with them both. To say that I am disappointed with the service and quality of their dishwashers is an understatement. This dishwasher is the Quiet to don't here it going .I now this is the best dishwasher I have ever bought so far .You won't be disappointed with this produce its fantastic I resly love it easy for the kids to they love doing the washing up and backing away now with this Dishwasher
