great fridge
Very easy to clean, first fridge I have owned with a bottom freezer and wouldn't hesitate to get another. Easy to find things in the fridge, vegetable drawer size is adequate. Plenty of storage space in general. Drawers in the freezer mean things are easily organised and located when needed.

Good well-built fridge, a bit noisy though
I agree that the fridge is very noisy. When I read reviews, they did mention the noise but I decided to ignore it. I was guided by its capacity and size as it fits into my kitchen well. When it was first installed I noticed the noise straight away. However, it does get better as it settles in. Other than that it is the perfect fridge and has room for everything.

Like my new bottom freezer fridge
I was a bit skeptical at first to purchase a bottom freezer fridge since I had no experience with this type of fridges in the past. This was one of the fridges that fit in the fridge cavity perfectly without changing my kitchen design. I have been using it for 4 months now and I can only praise this fridge. It is quiet, convenient, food is always fresh and I will save money on my grocery bill and have less waste!

So happy to have ice!
Nice and quiet. Cools really well. Love the water dispenser and it doesn't even drip. I love having the ice maker in this. I'll never run out again! The glass shelves make it easy to clean. The stainless steel finish is beautiful and again is so very easy to clean. Very happy with this fridge.

Effective use of space
Purchased this after our fridge (top freezer) of 13 years died. The bottom freezer is a good size and the ice machine makes a good amount of ice. We removed the small ice bucket and have the whole compartment full of ice constantly. The plumbed in water tastes great although it could be colder. The drip tray isn't as good as it could be with drips running down the front and onto the freezer door. The filter light also comes on every 6 months (which seems excessive and appears to be pricey at $80 a pop).
Otherwise the internal size is good for our family and seems to maintain temperature.

Too noisy
Too noisy ..ignore the choice survey on this one and do your own research. The noise level from this fridge is extremely hard to live with. It is easy to clean but the door alarm does drive us nuts. There are better options out there for you to choose. Finish

A solid and dependable Fridge / Freezer
A solid, reliable and value for money unit. Have had it for about a year now and it is great! Plastic drawers and finishings inside are really solid. Easy to clean and maintain. Unit is very quiet although every now and then I can hear a high pitched noise coming from it. Doesn't seem to be anything serious. Got it from The Good Guys with 5 years concierge service.

Spacious & nice design
I've got three of these fridges in different properties. I love the amount of space in it & the look of it. It works well & I highly recommend it!... that's why I've bought 3 of them. Two of them are in properties that I rent out as share houses so it's important that the tenants have plenty of fridge space & this fridge allows for that.

Best fridge ever!
It maintains a good temperature in all compartments! It is quiet as it does not produce any noises at all. It is easy to clean- just clean it with water and you're done! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone else! Definitely worth the price for its quality! Satisfied!

Love it
I love how you can move the shelves and the water dispenser is so clean and easy to use. There is so much room in both the fridge and the freezer. I looked for over 12 months before I found the perfect one. And I had limited room, it has been designed so well to make it very roomy

The best!
This fridge is a life saver and so practical. I love having the giant fridge on top and the freezer drawers down below. the filtered water is such a luxury, and it's even chilled. We never need to fill an ice tray and even on those 40+ degree days in summer the ice bucket stays full. Only downside is that If the pipe water is hot (which for us with pipes in the ceiling it is always hot in summer) the fridge struggles to keep up with chilling it before you fill your glass. Otherwise, no complaints!

Great fridge- suprised me
Always had really big side by side fridges made by very expensive brands so was a bit wary when I could only fit this fridge in the new kitchen. What a surprise. It is more capacious than one thinks as it is well designed.
IT cools very efficiently and love the ice maker as it makes a large amount of ice.
My last fridge was a Gaggenau and just one of the repairs to it (it had 3!!) cost the same as buying this Fisher and Paykel fridge.
Recommend it any day - now running 2 year2 without a hitch

Excellent
This fridge is amazing. I love the stainless steel look and its easy to clean. The think I like most about this fridge is the fact that the freezer is down the bottom. It makes sense as we use it the least compared to the fridge. Keeps cool even in the heat up here.

Very Happy with this Fridge/Freezer
I purchased this stainless steel, bottom mount, fridge/freezer nearly three years ago. I am very happy with it. The fridge has ample storage room, as does the bottom mounted freezer and is easy to clean. For a while it became very noisy when the motor started up but I eventually discovered this was due to a balancing problem and as soon as it was corrected, returned to a normal level on startup of the motor. My only criticism is that to close the fridge door requires slightly more effort than most fridges I have had in the past (it is not a self closing model). The warning alarm that the door is still open goes off frequently, even after all this time! In spite of this I would highly recommend this product.

Just perfect
It maintains the temp extremely well, has never had any Ice build up in freezer and the fridge keeps everything so fresh whilst using so little electricity for a big fridge. It is very quiet, our bedroom is next to the kitchen and we csn never hear it working during the night even on the 40 degree days there has been.
It is so easy to clean. Nothing sticks to the surfaces on the inside so a damp cloth cleans it without use of chemicals.

Works perfectly... if you don't mind a pipe constantly rattling
This fridge/ freezer is great at keeping food and drinks chilled or frozen. The stainless is great to clean (we have never had a stainless fridge before so as you could guess we were hesitant with the young kids). They seem to manage all sorts of finger prints and marks...they wipe off with a wet cloth. The only issue we had with the stainless was when we had fridge magnets and our 5 year old was moving a magnet which in turn put a large scratch down the fridge door. I asked if i could purchase a new door skin as the mark wont buff out... we ne...Read more
ed to purchase a new door as they dont sell the skins and it is worth as much as a new fridge... not happy considering the fridge is less than a year old. The only other issue is with a compressor pipe around the rear which keeps unclipping itself making an awful rattling noise. The service tech has been out and just clipped it back in... a week later it was loose again. Not a very secure bracket. All things considering we are pretty happy with the fridge.Similar opinion? Love this fridge
This fridge is excellent. The drawer style freezer is great for easy access - you don't have to open it the whole way to slide trays out like you do for the door style freezers. Ice/water makers are indispensable once you have it.
Also, it just looks great. Gets lots of comments.

Works like a fridge should
We decided on this over the similar sized Panasonic nr-by552xsau. In the end we wanted a door on the freezer with shelves rather than a bin. This fridge is very quiet operating. It is a newer model with the Embraco compressor inside, so it uses less power (supposedly) than previous versions. Reviews on previous versions of the E522's had us worried, so we made them plug it in at The Good Guys to check on sound levels. Only drawback is freezer is a little small, but we cope just fine. Has better (less) power consumption than the previous version...Read more
s. Used by 2 adults and 2 kids under 10. No problems with fridge size. Stainless steel door is easy to clean. It does not come with egg trays, but a whole dozen eggs (in the carton) fits into one of the compartments nicely - so no need to take them out one by one. Easy to level the unit with the front wind-out feet. Cools a beer extremely quickly on the top shelf - of utmost importance!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Behind the closed or more rightfully 'ajar' door that counts
Overall very good product with Lots of plusses with a couple of silly minuses. I'm quite a fan of Fisher and Paykel products, there technology and ideas are there but it seems that cost cutting and design faults have made there way into there products more and more with the merger with Haier or lack of testing. If anyone asked me what fridge to buy, only Fisher and Paykel or Westinghouse come to mind.
So the good
- looks great and quality stainless steel used
- no issues with cooling efficiency seems to be spot on most of the time. Never c...Read more

I took out and cleaned the evaporation tray at back. Disconnected water to replace flter, now after approx 4 hrs the fridge trips the power. If fridge is disconnected and then re-connected straight away-trips power again. If left overnight and switch on again in the morning will work fine for another 4 hrs-repeating same. Any suggestions?

Sorry Greg, I have no answer as yet. I have the same issue that has occurred to my E522B which keeps tripping the RCD. I have tested the heater element and it appears OK for the reading of this model (150 ohms). Did you end up finding the cause to your fault.
