Hi, i have a GW712 AU 2004 machine. It's currently not draining properly when it gets to the rinse cycle. i have checked all the parts on the machine and they seem to be fine, the only thing i have noticed is underneath the machine there is a 5 cent size black dust/dirt stuff after each load. Does the drain pump need to be replaced or the cold water inlet?
Thanks

I have a Phase 7 GW712. It won't spin at either the rinse or final spin stages. After pumping the water out of the drum, it goes into a little routine where it gives the agitator a twitch, then gives the drum a twitch, then starts to spin at which point it engages the lid lock solenoid and corresponding indicator, but immediately releases the solenoid and starts the routine again. It does this routine 32 times before finally giving an error code of 11101011 or decimal 235 which is lid lock failure. Based on this error I have replaced the lid lock mechanism with a brand new one but still have the same problem. What could be the problem?

Hi our GW712 keeps stopping (usually during rinse) and beeping and does every time we restart. The first light and the spin light, light up in orange and it just beeps. Even if we unplug and wait it does exactly the same thing. Any ideas please.

G’day Kirsty, mine just started doing the same yesterday! Did you work out what it is yet?

Hi Kahli, yes we did it was a rotor sensor and possibly the actual rotor wheel out of balance. Our machine is so old and been discontinued so would've cost more than it's worth. So new machine for us.. hope this helps.

Sorry Sheila....my review was about the good run we had with the GW712 which was a 2011 model. Can't help you with the mechanical side of things as I don't repair washing machines sorry.

I have this model machine. In the last 2 months it’s becoming unbalanced along to the point it’s getting a lot frustrating. Even putting clothes in before wash all even for the weight and then next minute when it’s on spin it goes BOOM BOOm kos it’s sounds unbalanced so I have to take all the clothes out to even then out again and then it’s good to go. Does anyone know what may be wrong because other than th last 2 months it had never done this.
