I bought this washing machine late January 2020 to replace a F&P Smartdrive washing machine that I'd had for over 20years. The new machine is ok but it always beeps and flashes "no hot" when filling even though the hot water tap is obviously on. I have to pause and unpause to overcome this issue and it resets and starts again. This has been happening as since the second time I used it. This is becoming very frustrating as I have to wait around to pause/unpause to reset. My husband has checked the tap hose and it is fine. The load is hot at the end of the cycle so I can't understand why this is happening. Apart from this the machine works well. What can I do to try and fix this?

I have only had this machine for one month so I don't have that problem as yet. I asked the salesman before I bought my machine about an extra filter. He said there is a built in filter so no need to put in another one.

Hi Brendan. I never had any water leak issues so I'm not sure what the problem would be. It may be an internal hose or the pump or something else.

Mine was bought just over a year ago. Since last week it begin to beep and display the error code 'too full' about half way through the wash cycle. The load is in no way full or heavy. I tried it with nothing in the tub yet it still displays the same error. Anyone got any ideas?

I have a one of these washers I no its suppose to be self cleaning filter but I am having terrible trouble with fluff all over the washing and it is causing my clothes to pill and wear out.. I've tried cleaning the machine after each wash. Can you please suggest something that might help, I am unable to keep buying new clothes

i have the same problem, my clothes are all covered in lint. Apparently you can buy a lint filter on ebay which I am about to do today. I never had this problem with my old F & P machine but my new machine covers the clothes in streaks and patches of lint. It could also be detergent that is not rinsing properly. i won't buy another F & P after this.

Some loads do not suit AUTO water level, eg pillows, bedding, large bulky garments. Manually select the water level. Otherwise you will have to ask the very unhelpful and couldn't care less Fisher & Paykel team in NEW ZEALAND
Sounds weird and not normal contact fisher n paykel they send their technician to look at it

How do you clean the pump filter? I put a dog bed into the washing machine and didn't realise I needed to vacuum it beforehand so I need to clean out the fur in the washing machine before I use it for clothes. How do I do this? Thanks

Lay the machine on its side and you will see the pump unscrew the plastic plate and clean out.

Hi, it's like the old saying "it's easy when you know how". It involves a reasonable amount of disassembly but nothing technical. It may be a coin or maybe not. Generally a coin drops to the bottom of the outer bowl (not the stainless one you can see) and stays there out of harm's way. It could be something else, possibly bra underwire(?) caught in between the inner and outer bowl, which then makes a noise during spin. If not confident to dismantle things yourself it's time to call a repair person.

Can't turn the lock off, unless you pause the machine, then it will unlock...
There is 4 spin cycles, default, fast med, slow they are near your lock...
You can also adjust your spin cycles through the load you pick, pic the load and then use your arrows...

I think the message you are getting might read: no t AP (The lowercase t does look a lot like an E)
It means NO TAP. Ensure the taps have been turned on, and try again.
