Great size

published

I have had this machine for 2 months now and it has been excellent so far. Our old machine would stop halfway through the rinse cycle. This machine has the pole down the middle of the barrel so is hopefully more balanced and less likely to stop like that. I bought from JB who were really great in honouring a discount even though the discount was over by the time my transaction went through.

Top Loader, top results

published

Before this washing machine we had a Fisher and paykel top loader without the agitator. It was constantly under performing and not cleaning properly and becoming unbalanced. Since replacing it with this we have not had any issues. It cleans all type of laundry efficiently. It is quite, has multiple modes and easy to use. The button interface is perfect as the screens of other models fade over time.
It can fit large loads like all the bed linen and doesn't get them all tangled into each other. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this machine.

Love appliances that can think for themselves!

published

This is the best washing machine we’ve ever owned. Mum had one exactly the same and I washed a load once in hers and I was sold.

It’s quick, effective, quiet and thinks for itself regardless of the load size. I always use the Auto function and it’s never failed me.

Clothes are well treated by the machine and never get caught up.

never again fisher and paykel

published

this washing machine is the worst machine ever I have had fisher and paykel machines in the past and were great this Junker is always out of balance and stops and beeps on any size load 1 sock with also make it out of balance . it would be different if the feet were out level but they are . the balancing problem has gone on for years and always thought it was over loading but we ever have . now 1 year out off extended warranty this still goes on and the warranty is crap as well . I have had now 3 freezers' 1 dryer and a now washing machine fall inside the warranty or just out no help from any one . under 5 years old at this stage I will ever have a fisher and paykel product again .

Good, But could be much better

published

O k this machine does the washing to a high standard. My only "beef" is the control panel is too hard to read. There is plenty of room to label the buttons, but they choose to use tiny print which requires glasses and a torch to read. WHY do it? F & P did the same with the good drawer dish washer. They changed the panel to face out instead of up so one has to kneel down to read it.

It's good but too noisy

published

Fisher and paykel is a good washing machine, its water saving, energy saving, but way to noisy, I can't use it when my child asleep, other then that it's ok . So I don't recommend you to buy it, if you have baby or toddler . Because it's too noisy.

Awesome

published

This is my second Fisher and Paykel washing machine and it is even better than the first one. If I have to find a fault at all it would be the fact that I still can't fit my doona in this size.
It washes very well, rinses well without using rinse aids, has a favourites cycle that allows me to use that instead of choosing the cycle from the menu each time I wash. I don't need as much washing powder because it seems to be more thorough in the washing of the clothes. Maybe it's the design of the agitator. It's so quiet that I can do the days washing in the very early morning before my husband wakes up. Great.

Very happy with this top loader.

published

It is so far ahead of the Electrolux front loader that it has replaced. Clothes are 20% cleaner and 50% dryer after spinning than previous heap of garbage. Very quiet and efficient. Top loading and not having to continually bend. Able to soak and then start to wash. Ease of use.

Washes clothes well and the spin dry function leaves clothes well drained but not too creased.
Quiet motor and fairly good wash times. A quality product with a 24 month warranty.
Small exterior size makes it perfect for tiny laundry spaces like mine.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Another efficient and easy to use product from Fisher& Paykel

I love my new washing machine from Bing Lee, Albury. When my old washing machine died, I needed a new one fast and the Fisher and Paykel Wash Smart top loader was the best for my needs. The quick option is awesome, couldn`t live without it. An absolute gem of a washing machine.

WashSmart WA8560E1 (8.5kg)

I bought this washing machine late January 2020 to replace a F&P Smartdrive washing machine that I'd had for over 20years. The new machine is ok but it always beeps and flashes "no hot" when filling even though the hot water tap is obviously on. I have to pause and unpause to overcome this issue and it resets and starts again. This has been happening as since the second time I used it. This is becoming very frustrating as I have to wait around to pause/unpause to reset. My husband has checked the tap hose and it is fine. The load is hot at the end of the cycle so I can't understand why this is happening. Apart from this the machine works well. What can I do to try and fix this?

How do you stop lint build up on clothes?

I have only had this machine for one month so I don't have that problem as yet. I asked the salesman before I bought my machine about an extra filter. He said there is a built in filter so no need to put in another one.

Hi Brendan. I never had any water leak issues so I'm not sure what the problem would be. It may be an internal hose or the pump or something else.
