Quiet! But clothes come out the way they go in DIRTY!
The machine in lovely and quiet and has multiple settings and convenient add item options. BUT I cannot get it to clean my clothes adequately they come out dirty and any little stain will not wash out like my previous washing machine. No matter what setting or washing powder/liquid I try. Its cleaning power is extremely disappointing!!!

Love it, super quiet, 3 years on, no issues
Love this washing machine. It's unbelievably quiet, you barely notice it's on (except for the spin cycle, which of course is a bit louder). 3 years strong and no issues at all (touch wood!), including 2 apartment moves. And we use it A LOT - like every second day, as we have a 3 year old daughter.
We recently needed to upgrade our dryer so bought a Fisher & Paykel on the experience of this washing machine; also going really well.

Met all of our requirements
Our requirements were a quiet front loader with hot and cold water inlets and good ratings for water and energy use. Having had our trusty but noisy Hoover for 23 years, we were surprised to find that most machines now only have a cold inlet.
Being environmentally conscious, and knowing nothing about washing machines with inbuilt heaters, we looked for info about how a cold water inlet works. The main factor there was that we have both a solar hot water system and a 1.5kW photovoltaic system.
With plenty of sunshine in Perth, and a household ...Read more

Reasonable performance
We wash a range of clothes from delicates to heavily soiled, using most wash cycles up to 40 degrees in temperature. Often with pre-wash setting. Machine functions are varied, flexible and easy to program. Cycle times are flexible but we generally find we have to wash on longer cycles to get clothes adequately clean. However, this may be the detergent not the machine.
The biggest drawback is the drain and spin cycle which usually initiates with 8 minutes left on the clock. It can sit at this 8 minute point for many minutes (can be 5 minutes or ...Read more

Like everything about this front loader WH7560P2
It is so quiet, washes well, and so easy to use, I like that it uses less water than most and great results for stains.

Great affordable washing machine
Purchased as a replacement to a 20 year old Westinghouse toploader and is a great improvement. The washing machine is quiet in operation but the default recommended wash settings take quite a long time (eg. 2 hours for clothes). The timer is also inconsistent as the everyday option states 1 hour but takes more than 1.5 hours. The delay functionality is a big time saver being able to load the machine up and finish a load upon waking up. The machine handles all types of clothing and linen well with no noticeable colour loss for clothes and not too much tangle.

Front loader with hot & cold water inlets
We bought this 7.5kg front loader after checking on the reviews to replace our 15 years old 5.5kg Whirlpool Italy made front loader. We bought it from Retravision Cannington with free delivery, free installation and also free removal of the old machine as Retravision matched Appliance Online deal.
We selected this brand as this model has hot and cold water inlets for using the solar hart. It has a lot features including add a garment after the machine has started washing. The washing capacity is big enough for us and our clothes are very clean. It is also quiet during spinning cycle. We are very happy with our purchase.

Impressive, high quality, easy to use, would purchase again
We purchased this washing machine 30/12/16 and have been very happy with it.
Very easy to use, quiet and cleans well.
Like others have been reporting we use the Everyday wash cycle for mosts washes which only takes 60 minutes and have been using 30 minute Quick wash cycle for towels and bed sheets.
For two and a bit years only bit of maintenance I have to do is clear filter at bottom of machine of my sons lego bits.
Would recommend this washing machine and would purchase another one.

Super quiet, great settings
This washing machine does intact wash smart. It has load size settings, various temperatures, different timed cycles which I especially love if I need something washed and dried in an hour I can use the 15 minute super fast wash and then dry in the air dryer. It has a brilliant “add garment” setting so you can stop part way through the cycle and add a missed item. It’s so very quiet; mine lives in a laundry cupboard in our kitchen and I forget I’ve put it on until a couple of unobtrusive beeps at the end of the cycle. This is my first Fisher & Paykel after having LG machines, and I’m so pleased. Great purchase and highly recommended.

Silent bliss
This is my first front loader, I’ve never had a modern washing machine before. It’s nice and quite for apartment living in comparison to top loaders. My only issue is how front loaders change the texture of towels. It makes them rough for some reason. The add garment function is great, if want to stop the cycle to add more clothes.

Great Machine!
I wash our daily clothing wear that includes work clothes, gym clothes as well as towels, blankets etc. I love the different settings on the machine and the settings I mostly use are Handwash for delicate items, Everyday and Quick wash. The delicate cycle is great and really treats the clothes well. I am very satisfied with the machines cycle times.

Great machine - has not missed a beat
It has been a year and a half since I purchased this machine. This is a great machine - highly recommend it. It has a delayed start so most of my washing is done when the elec is off peak (night time and weekends). To add to that it has a wrinkle free button so my clothes come out looking good after the night wash (regardless what time I get them out). Has a great range of cycles to choose from and I can get away with the 30min cycle when my closes are not to dirty, otherwise the 1hr cycle is the next choice. If I really want to get my whi...Read more
tes bright again then there is a 2hr cycle. Finally - I don't have a dryer so I rely on the line to get them dry. The clothes are 60% dry by the time I hang them out thanks to the 1400 spin cycle. Also highly recommend purchasing from appliances online. The were cheap, they delivered, they set up the new machine and took the old machine away.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great value
I just bought a new washing machine because the old one keep on breaking down and it is just too much troublesome to keep repairing it so I bought this. It is so much more easier than the previous one that I have and so many options to choose from. Absolutely love it.

I luv it!
It is so quiet, has plenty of multiple washing options to choose from including hand wash and bulky items. The 15 and 30 minute quick washes are handy and is even quiet when spinning. The operation of the machine is very easy and I have had it for a couple of months now and would definitely recommend it.

Fisher & Paykel WH7560P2 - does everything well, very quiet, simple controls, all good
Compared to our older (broken) front load washer, the WH7560P2 is better in every way that matters.
The controls are more straight-forward and easy to understand.
It is easier to adjust program settings.
It is a LOT quieter.
You can pause a cycle or add an item.
You can delay the start so it runs when your solar is going.
Clothes come out less wet.
Not much left to ask for!
Some reviewers said this washer requires hot and cold water connections. That's not true. You can connect cold only and the machine automatically heats the water by itself.
This was delivered fast and friendly by appliances online at a fair price, and they removed the old one.
Purchased in October 2021 at Appliances Online for $778.00.

Better than the Bosch
This is by the far the best washing machine I have used. My Bosch machine died after 3 years and decided to try Fisher & Paykel and I couldn't be happier.
You can't hear it running due to the direct drive which is really good.
The Wash cycles are really good and has every cycle you could think of.
Would recommend.

Good.
I find it good to use with a range of settings and various cycles and options. Once I got used to it I realised which were the best settings for me as I ilike the shorter wash times and find they are sufficient to get our clothes good and clean.

WH7560P2- Many options to choose from washing machine
After much research I decided to go with the F&P WH7560P.
Purchased it today: 4/10/18.
So mainly used the two short cycle washes so far: 15 and 30 minutes.
It does say for the quick cycle (30 mins) to limit the load to 4 kgs, and the super quick ( 15 mins) to 2 kgs load!
I found the washing time was true.
Will do some longer washes and update this review.
I did pay to get the machine professionally installed too, I thought the benefit of that, if it was DOA ( he did a small test, to check for leaks and to make sure it actually started!...Read more

First the lightpanel went in the front, had to get someone out to fix it which fisher and pukel were super helpful with.
I mostly used the everyday setting, and when I did last week it would not work at all had to leave it overnight and it sussed itself out!

Questions & Answers
KittyKatasked
Hi, is it normal not to see water in the glass door of the machine. I feel it’s not rinsing properly, clothes feel like they have detergent left in them. I am using liquid detergent and have reduced the recommended dose by half. Any ideas? Thanks
2 answers
It doesn't sound right, after my wash is finished I wipe liquid from the door and rubber.
My suggestion is, if, you don't already do it, is, do a drum clean by running a 1/2hr wash
with no clothes or detergent, just water (cold) and if you can watch when rinse cycle is on
it may give you an idea if you need a repairman. This is my best guess I hope it works they
are a great machine.
Hi thanks for the tip I’ll give it a go. The machine is only 2 weeks old I hope I don’t need a repair man! Thanks.

I have just bought this amazing machine but have one question....how do I get the alarm to work when the washing cycle has finished
1 answer
I don't know of an alarm relevant to the washing cycle. Our machine does several quiet beeps when the final rinse cycle has finished. I recall one reviewer commenting that the beeps were not loud enough to be heard from the other end of the house, and that it would have been helpful to have loud beeps because the next lot of nappies could be put in instantly. With our machine, you would not hear the beeps if you were more than one room away from the machine. That suits us. Perhaps it's worth looking to see how long the cycle is going to take so that you don't need the alarm or loud beeps?

Does anyone know how to access the pump, ive got the clr filtr error coming up, ive cleaned it out 3 times, blown back through the drain hose, including with water in which its coming out through the filter with no blockages, i can hear an activating sound from the pump but it isnt moving any water, which makes me think that possibly something might be stuck in the pump itself
