I keep getting the clr fltr message even after I’ve cleaned it all on hands and knees. It’s still under warranty but I live an hour from anywhere so would prefer some advice here from F&P before I add three hours to your tech’s day.

Hi, is it normal not to see water in the glass door of the machine. I feel it’s not rinsing properly, clothes feel like they have detergent left in them. I am using liquid detergent and have reduced the recommended dose by half. Any ideas? Thanks

It doesn't sound right, after my wash is finished I wipe liquid from the door and rubber.
My suggestion is, if, you don't already do it, is, do a drum clean by running a 1/2hr wash
with no clothes or detergent, just water (cold) and if you can watch when rinse cycle is on
it may give you an idea if you need a repairman. This is my best guess I hope it works they
are a great machine.
Hi thanks for the tip I’ll give it a go. The machine is only 2 weeks old I hope I don’t need a repair man! Thanks.

I have just bought this amazing machine but have one question....how do I get the alarm to work when the washing cycle has finished
1 answer
I don't know of an alarm relevant to the washing cycle. Our machine does several quiet beeps when the final rinse cycle has finished. I recall one reviewer commenting that the beeps were not loud enough to be heard from the other end of the house, and that it would have been helpful to have loud beeps because the next lot of nappies could be put in instantly. With our machine, you would not hear the beeps if you were more than one room away from the machine. That suits us. Perhaps it's worth looking to see how long the cycle is going to take so that you don't need the alarm or loud beeps?

Does anyone know how to access the pump, ive got the clr filtr error coming up, ive cleaned it out 3 times, blown back through the drain hose, including with water in which its coming out through the filter with no blockages, i can hear an activating sound from the pump but it isnt moving any water, which makes me think that possibly something might be stuck in the pump itself

Does anyone know if there is a way to may the 'Everyday' wash cycle the 'default' wash cycle that is selected when the washing machine first starts up?
The Everyday wash cycle only takes 60 min verses more than 2 hours with the default 'Cottons' wash cycle and we have been using the Everyday wash cycle as the go to wash cycle for most washes.

Hi, how do i turn the volume up on the beep at the end of a wash cycle???
3 answers
I’m not sure about that. Does it say you can in the instructions? The beep is loud enough for me.
If it is not in the manual .. no
There is nothing in the manual about it. So i assume i cant turn it up. Its just a little hard to hear the beep at the end of the cycle with the laundry door shut. Sleeping baby in the next room so we don't want to leave the door open.

I placed a loader in the washing machine and my arm rubbed against the rubber the metal that clamps the door rubber in place came off how to I put it back on please?

I'm currently having the same problem
Not easy.
fit the part that has the screw and put screw in to hold wire.
now fit the wire around the seal and, still holding the end, remove the screw without losing that end and fit through the hook in the wire, then re attach.
like I said, not easy.

Hi, our washer is connected to hot and cold. The element still runs to heat the water to 20 deg on the cold cycle. Can we stop or bypass this somehow? We are off-grid.
Thanks

No.
Most detergents don't start working till the water temp reaches approx 25C.
Being a water saving device, this prevents the detergent becoming a paste and damaging clothes.
(which customers wrongly complain is the fault of the washing machine)
If you select a higher temperature then it will draw water from the hot water line and not use the inbuilt heater. If I use it this way, I run the hot water tap Into the laundry sink first so the washer gets hot water as soon as it needs it. Don't worry that the water temp will be too high as the volume used, as long as you don't have a full heavy load, to do any damage to your clothes
Thanks for that information. I'm told the washer heats the water to 20 deg with it's in build heater even when connected to the hot water and a hot wash is selected. I'll confirm if this is correct by watching my amp meter and selecting a hot wash.
Cheers,

HI,
Our washing machine has been flashing clean filter. We have cleaned the filter and put the machine on drum clean and it is still flashing Clean Filter. Is there anything else that could be causing this issue?

is water coming out drain hose when on drain cycle?
If not then hose/ bloked, pump has bobby pin/ hair band/ needle or something preventing it spinning.
Check spigot at end of drain pipe.

I am getting black flakes on my wash. I don't use fabric softener and I have cleaned the filter(what a stupid place to put a filter) another story, and done a drum wash. What can it be. Why is the filter on the floor and it takes a mighty effort to get the hose out. Im 72 and was talked into getting a front loader. Bad idea.

Contact dealer or manufacturer
The black flakes could be due to pilling, poor quality washing detergent. I don't think its the washing machine.
My Mum's washer is doing the same thing. She has done a drum wash and checked the filter as well. She doesn't use fabric softener and uses a good quality washing powder in it. I would be interested to know if you have been able to fix the problem, so I can tell her how to fix it. Thanks.

How can I only use tap water and not have the machine heat the water under any circumstances?
2 answers
Seriously? Only use the cold wash setting. On my F&P it is the bottom of the temp settings. From the top the temps are 90, 60, 40, 30, and Cold. Press the button under the temps until "Cold" is selected. The water heater will not engage, and the water temp will be whatever temp is coming out of your cold tap. You might have to double check and change the water temp to "Cold" each time you wash, because the default temp setting for each cycle is different. If this is a problem, don't buy a washing machine that heats its own water next time.
Are you serious kesbek ? You obviously know nothing about this machine. COLD setting is a controlled cold set by the machine at 20 degrees, so if your water is colder than this, as most in winter will be, it heats the cold water coming in to this temperature. BTW, finding a machine that doesn't heat its own water is quite a task and what I wanted in the first place that is why I chose a machine with both hot and cold water inlets.
