Ford Ranger 2022 10 speed Automatic transmission failure
Purchased Ford Ranger XLT brand new in August 2022. In January 2020 the transmission failed leaving the car inoperable and having to be towed to a the local dealership. Calling complaints department is a waste time as they do not respond in the 24 hours their voice message states and they do not respond to emails. At this point in time am very disappointed with the service and still without my car:(

Love my Ranger
I bought my first Ford Ranger XLT automatic in 2015 brand new..It now have 37000 km on the clock..Never took it for 4 wheel driving. There is something wrong with the gearbox..Took it to the dealer and they said it would be cheaper to just get a new gearbox. The ute is 4 years old and in excellent condition but now it needs a new gearbox..I am not happy with Ford now

Poor quality service, terrible service and poor customer service
I purchased my car which is a Ford focus automatic brand new in 2013 from Ford Kilmore, Victoria. Within months of purchasing this vehicle, the car started to shudder, jerk, stall, and lose power whilst driving. At each service, I reported this problem and was told on each occasion that my car needs to learn how I drive and or that it needs to be reprogrammed. After each service, the car continued to stall, shudder, bunny hop and lose power and there were many occasions in which this car nearly caused an accident. I then learnt approx 2 year a...Read more
go that Ford Australia had knowingly sold these cars with a faulty transmission and clutch and told service outlet centre to deflect the attention away from the clutch. I raised this with Ford Kimore approx 1 and 1/2 years ago and they pretended that they were not aware of this, even though they told me that the clutch and transmission needed to be repaid or replaced. Some work at free of charge was completed on my clutch back in 2017, however, the problem continued in which the car continued to do all the things listed. I told Ford Kilmore in 2018 and 2018 and at each service that the car continued to stall, shudder and lose power. I was told by the staff at Ford Kilmore in April 2022 that the warranty expired and would need to pay for a new clutch as it is damaged. I did not have this money and refused to pay for a product that was sold to me in a defective state. I was then often treated rudely by one staff member that it is not Fords problem, that there is no class action and that the class action had been lost and that I would need to take this up directly with Ford Australia. I then made contact with Ford Australia whom then liaised with Ford Kilmore. The outcome of this was shocking. Not only is Ford Australia refusing to pay and fix the clutch in which they sold to me knowing there was a major fault, but accused my of not being update with servicing, and claiming the the issue with the clutch is due to oil contamination. The woman I dealt with was robotic, uncaring, and unwilling to advocate. I took my car to a local mechanic whom advised me that the oil contamination of car would not be creating the problems that it is (shuttering, stalling etc) and advised that it would cost $5000 to fix the clutch and not worth anything due to the defect. Also advised that the oil leak should have been picked up at second last service at Ford Services in which it never was and other existing problems. Fed this back to Ford Australia and advised that the only option would be to take to another Ford Centre for assessment and this means more cost for me. I now have a car that is only 6 years old and advised that I would be lucky to get another 1 year of driving before it significantly plays up. Thank you Ford Australia, for not acknowledging that you sold me a faulty car which is now not worth anything and nearly created car accidents, not even a apology. Only hope is that the class action against Ford Australia is successful. I would recommend that no one purchases a ford car as they have lied and continue to lie about quality of their cars. There is no recall and simply do not care. Also avoid Ford Kilmore for their in-competencies and now paying the price for mechanical issues that were overlooked in previous services.

Today I took my car to Pacific ford because a part within the lever gear shift had broken and the gears were no longer gliding into position for gear change. I was asked to bring the vehicle in later so that the problem could be ascertained.
I was then told that my warranty had expired and that this ($82) part would be chargeable so I said that Id just purchase the part and have it fitted by my service agent.
At this point I was told that the time taken to identify the issue would need to be billed; He asked me if this was the car ...Read more

LIES, LIES & more LIES!
They wouldn't divulge their finance rate until after we had signed their finance contract, we got our finance elsewhere.
Told our Everest had a would get a full factory service & detail on delivery (crap), on Fraser Island less than a month later it ran out of Ad-Blue which stops the engine & won't restart until it is replenished.
Mismatched tyres on a 12 month old vehicle with just 20K on the clock, how does that happen?.
Love the Everest, would never use Thompson Ford ever again!

tyre pressure sensor malfunction on the dash YLQ 22F
This error message has been popping up since I bought the vehicle new in Nov 2016. It appears more frequently, but not exclusively when towing my caravan. The pressures were checked and the van has weight distribution bars to even out the weight, transferring even load to the front. Every service has failed to rectify this problem despite various strategies. Called customer service who assured me NO-ONE would be getting back to me regarding this persistent and annoying problem.

Dont pay for Ford services
I bought my FG XR6 new and had every service done by the selling dealer. They were forced to repay a substantial amount due to overcharging me. Then my vehicle developed a starting problem the day after a sheduled service. I returned it to them and they investigated (guessed) what was wrong. They were never able to find the problem even though I spent almost $2000 and in the end, advised me that the cylinder head was faulty and would need to be removed to investigate further, this was going to cost me $3700 with no guarantee that this was the i...Read more
ssue. They could not qualify why the head needed to be removed, they were just guessing yet again. Took the car to the REAL mechanics at the NRMA. Testing showed 2 faulty ignition coils and a faulty spark plug. Problem fixed. I no longer own a Ford and never will again, they are rude and have no idea with anything other than basic servicing.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Reef City motors Ford terrible for warranty work
My 2017 Ford fiesta makes a terrible noise in reverse. Despite many inspections and multiple attempts to fix the issue including replacing a master cylinder Ford cannot fix it. Now they say it's a normal noise and even tried to blame it on driving style. Simply not true.

ELN FORD TUGGERAH SERVICE
Very happy with my Ford Fiesta 2014. Grateful to office gentleman who helped me unstick the bonnet catch; and to the technical gentleman who attempted to make my new key talk to the car's computer.
THUMBS DOWN to the rude attitude of the Service Manager and his Receptionist for treating me as if I were a trouble maker when it took three visits to get the new and costly key to work.
Had a call from Sales asking if I were ready to upgrade my car. After this negative experience, doubt it will be a Ford.

Dodgy as...
Do not use these people: you are likely to leave the premises with more problems than you entered with. Fairly hostile, negative response to customer complaints about sudden appearance of previously non-existent faults. Go somewhere else, management changes every year or so anyway.

Recall...No issue Found
We purchased a ECOLPG gas exclusive Ford XR6 in 2012 which was recalled in 2013 for an "inspection". Our car was stamped with a "7" in lieu of a "5" which was deemed to require a new head under warranty. The head on our vehicle failed at 178,000 kilometres and we were informed by the repairer that the exhaust valves fitted to our car were only suitable for petrol engines and were not designed for an exclusive gas fueled vehicle. After making enquiries with Westpoint Ford in Werribee who conducted the recall, details of the works were "unavailab...Read more
le" given the inspection was conducted some six years ago. Ford when contacted were unable to furnish these details as well and have denied any liability. We have previously purchased 8 or 9 Fords and have arrived that Fords and its Agent stand behind their product and work, a hell of a long way behind, so not only would we never buy another Ford vehicle which was probably due in 2020 but we will never buy off a Ford dealer againSimilar opinion? Very poor customer care
I brought my car in for a booked service on (7/5/19) and at 1600hrs the service man called to tell me my car was not ready due to transmission issues which were apparently fixed before, the previous year. At midday on 8/5/19 I was informed that my transmission could not be fixed until I bought a new battery. I asked what happened to the battery but I was told it just stopped. I have never got any issues with my battery, no previous warning and the only explanation I was given that the battery just does not work anymore. I don’t believe my car ...Read more
battery that was working perfectly in the last 24 hours just stopped without any previous issues or warnings. Unless during servicing someone did something wrong and the battery was damaged. The battery was working well before service and i had no issues with it and then during the time that the car is under the care of Ford the battery just dies with no explanation. I duly explained this to the assistant manager and all I got was if you don’t buy a new battery, we won’t fix your transmission (which is under warranty). I was not given any explanation on how the battery just stopped working!! Dear Ford, I may only be one customer but all customers are important after all the service is not free. There are many service areas around Perth. We all deserve proper explanations and good customer care. I bought my car at Titan ford and I have always serviced there but at this point it’s a decision I deeply regret.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Ford Fiesta Faulty Transmission
After 8 years of being stuffed around & told that the transmission on my Ford Fiesta was still being "worn in" or "the software needs to be updated" i lost trust with Ford & especially City Ford Rockdale. I have had a case opened up by Ford Australia & have dealt with a case manager for the last 2 months only for them to tell me again that there's nothing wrong with the vehicle even though the mechanic at Ford Rockdale told me the car is a lemon & Ford should be giving back everyone who purchased these cars a full refund.
I have also been told...Read more
that if i am after a payout or some sort of compensation the car would be valued as it currently is. How is that fair? When i bought the car in 2011 it was already faulty. I took it back to Ford Rockdale multiple times after i purchased it & was just turned away every time but now i'm told because i took so long to report it the car value has gone down. I lost trust in Ford Rockdale which is why i refused to to back & get the car serviced with them & just dealt with the issue as it was far easier than being treated like an idiot. Then it comes out in the media that there are issues with the cars & Ford have been lying about these issues. I was also told that a full payout would be highly unlikely as my car has only had 2 clutch replacements & owners who were getting full payouts have had 8 to 9 clutch replacements. It's a bit of a joke if you buy a brand new car & have to get 8 to 9 clutch replacements to make the car driveable. This is totally unacceptable from Ford Australia & my dealership City Ford Rockdale. As a consumer i have been sold a faulty product & have dealt with it since 2011 & now am being told "if" a payout is applicable to my case then it would be at the current value of the car. I wouldn't even be able to sell this car for more than about $1500 & it's in great condition & only done about 79,000 kms in about 8 years. I will be taking this further & i urge all affected Ford owners to contact Ford Australia & start an individual case. Don't take no for an answer & stand up for your rights. It's in Ford's best interests just to say no to everyone regardless of their individual cases but keep pushing them & opening new cases until you get a favourable result.Similar opinion? Disgusting after sales service
While testing driving a second hand car there was a few noises coming from the motor and a chip in the windshield. Was told it would be fixed up in the full service. We stupidly took the car before that happened and made a appointment for full service. When we picked it up was told that it had already been serviced when they got it so the noises and windscreen still remain.
We confronted Salesman and Manager only to have a play on words and total denial from the salesman. Out of the kindness of their heart was told they would fix the windscreen and that was about 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything. Totally ripped off.

I signed a deal with a ford car yard. I wont name and shame just yet. Took it (kugar) for a test drive drove well and negotiated a deal i think was good for myself. Vehicle was in stock have not heard anything from the salesman coming up to 7 days. Apart from the contact initiated 2 days ago asking when i could collect my new. No real answers given other than ford had to release it. How long should i have to wait is my question and am i being unreasonable to think more contact should have been made?

They have asked my wife to pickup 5:30 pm ... it was dark in AUG 2016. She couldn't check properly. When I saw the car i have notice rings have damaged badly and it was issue with front tier and also break issue (making noise) and wheel alignment require.
We took some photos and send them by email a day after.
When they have checked in workshop their mechanic told me who give this car road worthy? when i said your company they kept quiet and that mechanic never came back to us.
After 6 month still we have issue with break and it is the disk issue, also rings and tires never replaced same issue, they just did wheel alignment.
I love ford territory this is my second territory but I told every one and I recommend everybody "Never ever buy from BAYFORD IN EPPING. They are NOT trustworthy and NOT honest".

Ok. Has anyone paid for a quote on a vehicle? This would be the first. mmmmmm after reading these reviews. I feel my dad was been scammed.

Hi, You never pay for a quote on any repair on any car. You should promptly go back for a refund and report this person to fair trading. No work was undertaken so this is a con.
