Brand new car leaked worse than my convertible!
The car was driven daily for 4 years. Within the first 10k the fuel pump stopped working and was replaced under warranty. After replacement the fuel gauge didn't work (mechanics failed to reconnect all the wires back up after fitting new fuel pump).
The car developed a leak in the rear left hand and right hand side of the car, allowing a lot of water through the left side into the boot and tyre well. Took the car into ford twice and they couldn't find the issue. Third time (lucky??) They listened to me on where I thought it wd coming through, ...Read more

Love It Great Little Car
We have a 2017 WZ Fiesta Sports 1.0L turbo 3 cyl ecoboost engine, I have driven quite a few small cars over the last few years, but not as enjoyable to drive as this little car, it does long trips comfortably and very good city driving, delivers good fuel economy 4.7 to 4.9 Highway Driving 5.5 to 6.00
City Driving. My Wife and both drive it, she drives it gently & I drive it with a bit of stick, and it copes very well.
There is plenty of leg room in the front, possibly could do with some extra gauges.
Overall a very good vehicle.

Ok except the transmission
Very disappointed in this car, to the point that we hardly ever drive it in case it breaks down. Constant clutch and gear problems - sounds like a bag of nuts and bolts loose in a bag. it's been back to the dealer constantly who reset programs and replace clutch. Terrible car.

FORD Shudders
I purchased the car 2 years ago and it has flaws in it's transmission. It has been repaired 3 times in 2 years, Ford have extended the warranty because of the issue. Initially they were reluctant to fix but had far too much pressure. Mechanics at Ford said "it drives like this because 3-4 people are driving the car and have different driving styles".... Really, it's a car. It's sluggish, shudders and adolescents in the house cannot drive it to Uni, as they feel unsafe with it's performance.

Has been good but not without issues
Loved it at first as the engine was efficient, handling was great and I loved the exterior look. Over time however the ecoboost 1L engine became more and more annoying particularly when on hills as the car was just not as responsive as one might hope. Issues also arose at the first scheduled service with a coolant leak covered by warranty, however at year 2 another warranty issue arose and by the end of year 3 the tyres need replacing after only 30000 km of mostly city driving

Best daily car EVER
I used to own a highly modified 2008 Subaru STI pushing 300kw at the wheels. I sold it and purchased the Fiesta ST as a downgrade but boy was I surprised.. It's actually more fun and easier to drive! Besides going slow in a straight line this thing is literally a train on rails when cornering. Boost kicks in very early around 2000rpm so it's always feeling zippy. I get about 600km per tank of fuel. Very decent on petrol especially when I drive partially aggressive.

Love It!
Have a 2016 Fiesta ST with the optional Mountune Kit.
I’ve prevously had a Honda S2000 and Infiniti G37. This car is obviously much smaller than those two, but doesn’t mean it doesn’t pack a punch.
Very responsive steering and throttle. Only complaints are that the Sync Voice system is largely unresponsive and slow.
In all areas of actually driving the car, it’s excellent.

Love it!
I was a bit wary prior to buying my Ford fiesta ST before due to well known 'ford problems'. But then as I research, it's just the power shift ones! Months later on, I'm still enjoying my car averaging 6.6L/100km in mixed driving. Best of both worlds! The only problem I found in the car is that my cheeks hurt from so much smiling as while I drive it!

Excellent car!
Very good fuel consumption, easy to park and drive around. Has all the features necessary. Big booth as well. Hatch is a good option for carrying bags around. Very comfortable ergonomic seats. This is the best car I have ever owned. Drives very well in the city and on the open road.

Great car with no problems.
We bought a WZ Fiesta Sport 1.0 manual in January 2014 (one of the very first sold). It has had no faults and still looks and drives as new - despite my wife driving 500km per week.
The Ecoboost engine is a little jet but is very economical (although we choose to run it on expensive 98 RON fuel). Manual gearbox and clutch are fine.
My wife finds the seats far more comfortable than my those in my Golf, and the ride and handling are very good. For such a small car it's very roomy.
Despite a flimsy feel, Pheobe the Fiesta has been 100 pe...Read more
rcent reliable, nothing has broken or worn out and Etheridge Ford have provided great service, Our only concern with Phoebe will be eventually replacing her as it is reported Ford will not be importing the next generation Fiesta. (All the other small cars seem so dismal to drive after the Fiesta). Highly recommended car. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Economy Class Ride
This review is in addition to my earlier review on 2015 Ford Fiesta WZ (S) 1.5L, 4 Cyl, 6 Spd Auto, ULP, 4 Door Hatch. Start car & it revs immediately & noisily at approx 1800 rpm for about 25 seconds. Then drops down to around 800 rpm at idle. Every time. (Why? To reach operating temp?) Unnecessary 'wear & tear' on engine & wastes fuel. Ford requires owners to manually support the bonnet by propping it up with a metal rod: Hey Ford, its 2017 - not 1960!!! Rear drum brakes? They are obsolete & ADR's should make them illegal on all new cars sold...Read more
in Australia. Seats are small, narrow & uncomfortable. Front windscreen wipers leave a splash mark on the passenger side of the windscreen which obscures vision. The rear windscreen wiper jet leaves a trail of dribbled fluid which dries to a dirty stain from top to bottom of the glass. (Very annoying!) The Menu for Audio/Phone is so bad, if 'Sync3' can be installed as an option, I will be forced to upgrade the dash. In response to the lifeless 1.5L 'Lawn Mower Engine' in the Fiesta, I got a quote from 'Garrett' for a Vehicle Specific, custom made: C.A.I, Turbo, Intercooler & Exhaust = $7K (+ Extras). The lack of Aftermarket Accessories for this model is pathetic & it's almost impossible to modify. Overall, a wholly negative & depressing purchase. Nobody 'twisted my arm' to buy it & it's 'Buyer Beware'. That's why I'm writing this Review. Hopefully to stop someone else making the same mistake I did. No wonder Ford shut down building cars in Australia. The Quality & Value For Money just isn't there! The End. UPDATE: But wait, there's more? Now, approaching 8000 klm (on Speedo), there is a very loud 'metal on metal' grinding noise when reversing. Only happens in reverse. Ford, predictably, found no faults & said there is nothing wrong with the car. My ears tell me otherwise. I'm not deaf! Do Ford make cheapest possible 'cars' - for maximum possible profit? The answer can only be: "YE$". Ford Fail.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

You Get What You Pay For. Unfortunately!
2015 Ford Fiesta WZ (S) 1.5L ULP. 6 Spd Auto. 5 Door Hatch. Ex Demonstrator: 6,500 klm. BUILD: Cheap & nasty. Held together by rubber, plastic & buckets of glue. Dashboard is cluttered & virtually unreadable. 'Space Saver'spare tyres should be illegal. ENGINE: Uses more l/100klm than claimed. TRANSMISSION: Unpredictable. Always 'hunting' for another gear. Lurches & jumps 'up & down' around town. HANDLING: Doesn't feel safe. Suspension not 'mated' to steering. ROAD NOISE: Worst of any car I have ever owned, including a 1996 Toyota Landcruiser '...Read more
Troop Carrier' Diesel 4WD! CONCLUSION: Style before practicality & safety. Economy & comfort: Fail. Resale value: Worthless. Would not recommend Ford Fiesta, of any model, to my worst enemy. This - is the 'Lemon' I should NOT have bought! If this is Ford's new 'World Car', the Company will be consigned to the Garbage Bin of Automotive History!Similar opinion? Ford sucks! Never again.
Got my car in 2014 as a demo model with only 3xxxkm on the clock. Had to pull teeth to include a spare wheel in sale since it's classed as an extra. Only after 8 months my aircon stopped working. I took the car into ford for a service and to see what the issue was with aircon. They came back and said since I had a stone chip in my windscreen that there was a hole in my air condenser and that I obviously drove on rough roads and a stone had flicked up and caused the hole. And due to it being an environmental issue it was not covered under war...Read more
ranty and asked me to fork out $1200 to fix the problem. Taking it to a professional has told me there was never an issue with the air condenser at all and Ford will usually tell you there is a fault with a more expensive part and while "fixing" the problem they find the real issue and charge you more again. I will never buy another ford. They are nice to you until they have your money then they treat you horribly.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Nice little big car with small flaws ...
Purchased in 2013 the 4 door version (LX 1.6 M Diesel). The car has sufficient space for up to 4 passengers, and if you squeeze it is possible to fit number 5 in as well. Obviously there are limitations related to luggage - it is a small car, after all.
Great features for safety as well as comfort.
Quite frugal on diesel (we need in average around 5.5 l / 100 km).
Drives well (and feels normally quite safe ... unless you decide to attach a trailer - DON'T!);
Reliability o.k-ish. In the first 3 years we had a broken engine fan rela...Read more
ys (resulting in the battery being emptied within hours), a damaged wheel bearing (after roughly 40 k - replaced under warranty), the plastic part around the air inlet did break and sprayed oil over the engine (as well replaced under warranty). Would not recommend!
It's not a case of what is wrong with it - rather what's right with it.
I have a Ford Fiesta 2013- I have numerous problems with the shuttering, jerking loss of power and low in the gears.
It's an auto. I basically feel that it may as well be a manual so I can change the gears when they should change, not when the car feels like changing.......which is way too late, from a stationary position at lights, I am left behind unless I floor it. It may be at 3.6 on my revs.
It has been taken to the dealer ship every week since July, but apparently...Read more

2015 Ford Fiesta ST has proven to be a really awesome car. Small, compact but fast! Manual driving at its best. Fitted with a Mountune kit its has sports car like performance and a burbling race car sound.. Cheap to run and also fitted with glove fitting Recaro racing seats. Heaps of leg room in the front (I am tall) and ok in the back seat. Great around the town car and awesome during long distances. Would highly recommend.

Clutch failed at 4500 Ford say not covered by warranty car is a 2015.
I thought it was a good car to drive apart from changing gear from 1st to 2nd quite difficult to change
Interior was fine quite comfortable
Not at all reliable, beware of Ford warranty, clutch failed at 4500 miles Ford say not covered on warranty although this was down to [name removed] trying to blame bad driving.

Great little city car
Great little car, zippy to drive. Happy I made the choice to upgrade to the sports model, I'm really happy with the transmission.
Interior is really comfortable. Visibility is good. I do mostly stop/start city driving but fuel efficiency seems good. Performs well on highway/freeways too.
Love the capped servicing, and haven't had any problems at all at this stage.

Best thing I've ever purchased
This is a brilliant little car that holds up not only in everyday small town roads, but also on long motor way journeys! I suffer with bad knees and even I find the ride comfortable on 2+ hours of motor way driving! The handling of the car is light and easy, and the add ons like blue tooth and the emergency assist help to make it so much better! Would definitely recommend!

Hey guys, so I've heard lots of horror stories about the Fiesta's and Focus' gearboxes, but I was wondering if the manual was plagued with the same issues? Specifically I'm talking about the ST, it's a really nice car that I'm very tempted by, but if it's got a whole lot of extra costs involved then I won't go for it.

Evening!
As far as I know it is only the Auto of each type that had the problem, I have not heard of any problems with the manuals as they do not have dual clutches.
I believe the Fiesta/Focus issues are related to the "Power Shift" DCG gearboxes. This doesn't apply to the Australian Market 6 speed. There are a few reports for the US domestic market Fiesta ST suffering from clutch issues but US cars are made in Mexico and the Australian Market ST comes from Germany.
