What a Superb experience to shop online with Frankie autos electrics. Bought an OBD II power cable for my dash cam from the online shop. They posted it out on next day, received item in just 2 days.

I thought I would balance some of the negative reviews ... I have bought two items from Frankie's: a dashcam/mirror and a pair of speakers. The dash cam was faulty, but they did an excellent job of managing the return, and then the replacement of the faulty item. Perhaps a little slow, but good service overall. I liked the fact that I could maintain a discussion thread with their sales team. The speakers arrived today in Melbourne, 4 days after ordering -- very pleased with that delivery timing. They are not a "5", but certainly warrant a "4".

purchase may 29th. Shipped 31st May. Tracking 2nd June. Delivery 23rd June. Drove 160km, they didn't Deliver to my address

Called Frankie’s to price match another website (there website Cleary states “HAVE YOU SEEN THE PRICE CHEAPER?
PLEASE CALL 0242572636 AND WE WILL BEAT ANY ADVERTISED PRICE”)
He quickly searched it up and saw the price the website had it up for and said no way I can match that price sorry!
Why put that on your website if you can’t honour that even if it means they take a loss?

I have purchased a number of items from Frankies over the years, mainly stereo units or speakers, I have never had an issue with Frankies, but, always had an issue with Aramex (Fastway) for late deliveries, eg: Frankies sent out a head unit to me one time, it was 2 weeks overdue, I called Aramex a number of times to be told, they dont have it, and still waiting on it, I eventually went to their depot in Port Melbourne, went to despatch, and the guy there found it for me in their despatch bin, yet that morning, I was told, theyre still waiting o...

I had a subby sent to me a few weeks ago, it was faulty, I called Frankies, they issued a return form, had it picked up, and they sent out a replacement, I'm more than happy with Frankies service, I always say, stay calm, and treat people how you would like to be treated, it goes a long way.. :) An update to my return: Today, I have received my replacement, thank you at Frankies, and thank you Amarex for a quick delivery.- Product Quality

Have been waitng 6 weeks for a battery charger that was in stock, keep being told it's the couriers fault! Have just received some parts from London - 3 weeks! Asked for a refund and was told they would only refund me when the items was received and sent it back. Worst service I have ever come across.

I purchased Dynamat sound insulation for my car, and when i saw the add it also included a roller to install the insulation. The roller was not deliver with the insulation and when I asked about it they told me I didnt order it. I said I would like to return this insulation and they told me I have to pay a 20% return, as to there return policy. Don't trust these people.

Orderd items been waiting 4 weeks for delivery they blame the freight company spoke with freight company they advised Frankies up front there is massive delays, poor service there invoices don't make sense either so far says I have been charged for two items then in fine print at bottom of invoice says one is discontinued can't be purchased so we will wait and see????? Aramex are also rubbish company

No despatch after a week so contacted their online call centre ( somewhere overseas!) and requested a refund. They said 10-12 working days which I thought was excessive.....ended up a month before refund was given! Good side business for them investing your money for 4 weeks. Would Never ever buy off this company again.

I would never use this company again. I placed an order for a head unit on the 23rd of January 2022. A few weeks later they said they were out of stock and will refund the money. It’s now the 15th of March and after numerous emails I still haven’t received a refund. Luckily I paid with PayPal and they will organise the refund otherwise I’m sure I wouldn’t see the money again.
Appalling service.

I would like to thank you guys for the outstanding customer service you have provided.
I returned the faulty reverse camera and all along the communication to keep me up to date was amazing.
Although the item was faulty, the customer service and process made it so smooth that there was no frustration at all.
I received the replacement and it worked brilliantly.

Trying to get a refund when they have received the product back took just over a month. I was told that it would be issued but didn’t receive it. No one responded to my emails until I threatened to report them to the ACCC. Just got my refund, but wish I checked product review before purchasing as it seems MANY others have had the same experience.

There is a reason this company do not allow posting of Reviews on social media.
The deliver good without manual and then wont provide manual. I am very disapointed with service.
Very poor service. Stay away at all costs.

Ordered a stereo head unit on the 22nd January, then requested to cancel the order on the 23rd (I found something else more suitable elsewhere), only to be told that they "have requested to put a stop on the dispatch but our logistics team has advised that the order has been packed and they will try to put a stop on the dispatch but they cannot guarantee at this time. We have made a report on the matter and submitted a request for cancellation and refund with the finance department to process."
Then, nothing... for seven days.
I had to chase ...
Read morethem again on the 31st, the 1st, the 2nd, and the 3rd of February before they replied with "I chased your refund with our accounting manager and I will get back to you as soon as I heard back from her with an update or with the reference number of your refund, blah blah blah" to which I expressed my disgust, demanding they sort it out 'today' (the 4th). My refund was processed on the 4th, THIRTEEN DAYS after I requested to cancel the order. BEWARE.- Incentivised Review No

Purchased a Redarc Battery isolator kit in October 2021 ($311) it arrived damaged, so I contacted them for replacement to which they agreed, upon receiving the faulty product. I posted this back at my OWN cost, which they promised to refund, and I am yet to see the money. It took them a month to process the replacement and eventually posted the new item on the 18th of November 2021. It is now late January 2022 and I am still yet to receive the parcel. I have contacted them 20+ times to find this parcel, to which they say “we’ll contact Aramex” ...

I have now asked for full refund multiple times, which their response is “we can travel that path when we find out where the parcel is”. This is by FAR the worst shopping experience I have ever had, and plan to take this further. Do yourself a favour and avoid Frankie’s Auto Electrics at all costs.- Product Quality
