Compact Inside Unit, stylish, fan noisy at high speed
I purchased this brand and model based on having great experiences with previous Fujitsu Air Conditioners. And this model is the largest capacity in Slim line internal head unit.
Given the small internal head unit it pumps out a good amount of cool air. Has lots of functions, namely the Powerful function which maxes out the fan speed and run the outdoor compressor at full capacity to pump out instant cold air. I use this feature a lot.
This model capacity is a little under powered for my room size but I wanted the slim stylish internal he...Read more
ad unit. Other models have ridiculous over sized internal head units that look ugly and out-dated style. Fan speed set on medium/high to high is very noisy, but having said that it does pump out a lot of air. I guess thats the trade off on those hot 40degree days. Not having smart phone app based functionality is the reason i gave it 4 stars. This option have been available in Europe and USA for over 2 years now, the fact Fujitsu Australia has not kept up with overseas offerings and other brands is putting there brand well behind the game. If this is a feature you require you can obtain 3rd party wi-fi remote receivers for air conditioners, but its a shame Fujitsu Australia still dont have this feature available. Overall i'm happy with this model from Fujitsu, I just wish they would offer larger capacity models in the Designer range.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

It's what we needed!
Both heating and cooling performance is great !
It's medium in noise...not to loud but you know when it's on.
I have to pay an air conditioner to installed it then I had to pay more extra to get the compressor away from the area....as I did not want the look of it near our barbecue area !
It's not complicated but if I have problems....I always tell my husband what I want

Great units
Not sure what noise people are talking about, would like a bit better description.
We have 2 units and just about to purchase another one. Have been great, million dollar look, cool and heat in no time, sensors are working great, really quite to my likening. We have much much more expensive unit (different brand) and it is way noisier.

20 years and still working 100%
I do wish people would explain what noise? I cannot fault the internal unit on my split system. Sure the compressor is noisy outside. I just had a glitch? switching over to heat? But go back to cool then switch to heat moved the valve? bingo it works fine again. It's just a solenoid with a piston to redirect the gas?
Thanks Fujitsu for a great unit. XXX

Rubbish
Worst system ever, don't buy it, noisy, doesn't cool, poor backup, does not have quite mode, has nothing but problems since installing it.
Fujitsu to their credit did fix the problems and now works fine. It took a few service visits and further issues with parts and serviceman not knowing what they were doing but Fujitsu stuck with me until it was fixed after virtually replacing virtually every part in the internal unit.

Energy efficient AND powerful air con!
We purchased this air con 5 months ago and have been impressed with its performance.
We have found it to be more energy efficient with no noticeable peak in electricity bill.
Cools/heats the room faster and the way the lid opens is very impressive and looks very luxurious.
Features like 'Energy Saving Economy mode', '10C heat', 'low noise' work really well.
It has a sensor as well to identify any movement in room.
All in all very satisfied with this product.
Lid open action design feel awesome, sensor, various modes such as 'Economy' and 'Low noise outdoor unit'.

Hi There,
These units look great. I am thinking of buying one.

Fujitsu A.Fujitsu
HI Moohead, Thank you for your question, please be advised the Fujitsu Air Conditioning unit doesn't come with piping, this will be provided by the installer. The minimum piping required is 3m and the maximum is 20m. There is sufficient refrigerant to cover 20m inside the condensor.
Thanks very much. Sounds perfect.
