Totally excellent steamer! Still using after 10 years George Foreman is the best!
I have used mine for over 10 years cooking meals for my family, we really enjoy it. Everything works fine, nothing broken, all writing still on it. Great quality, excellent value for money. I wipe out the bottom and wash the trays in the sink or dish washer. pack it back in the box tidy and store in cupboard. It really comes down to how well you understand how to use it and how you look after your equipment.
Purchased in January 2021.

These can be repaired if they start to leak
Had one of these for 14 months of almost daily use, was told they can't be repaired after it started to leak around the element sealing ring. These parts aren't available, but if you, or a clever friend has the ability to carefully disassemble the unit to expose the element, and remove the element. Then remove the silicone sealing ring from the plastic body of the unit.
Using clear Roof and Gutter silicone sealant, smear a good amount into the groove in the rubber ring then re-install the rubber ring into the plastic body of the stea...Read more
mer. Re-fit heating element and push it hard to seat correctly, then clean up excess oozing silicone, then refit screws and re-assemble the bits so it is the same as when you started. If you got it all right, you should have a non leaking steamer as I have. A word of warning. This involves tampering with some electrical stuff, so if you are not confident in doing this job, ask a friend who has some skills in this area. It's an easy job, but probably best left to somebody with some experience in things that could kill you if you don't remove the plug from the power point before you start!! September 6th 2018 Update: Still going strong after repair in April 2018 Just an update on my previous review. Over 5 months since I repaired the leaky seal, and it's still not leaking! This item gets used almost daily to steam our veg, so I'm pretty happy with the repaired unit, and the new one I bought to replace it, is still in its box unused!

Still working eventhough turning knob broke
I bought this steamer a while back. Works well. Steam veggies and meats very well. Easy to use but the turning knob broke after a few months. Still works fine. Only complaint is the steaming compartment accumulates scum very easily. Must clean completely after each use to prevent build up.

Am liking my new steamer
I usually avoid celeb endorsed products because they usually tend to be a load of rubbish. However, I have been using this for a week and so far it has proved to be a great addition to our kitchen for $45.
It is very convenient, gets going really quickly and can cook a lot of different types of veg at a time.
From cold my veg is ready in about 10 mins. It also keeps it warm for a bit once it is done which is useful because I suck at time management!
I have not had the issues experienced by the other reviewer. However, if things do go wrong I will update my review.
Note: I have never owned a veg steamer before, so have nothing to compare it to except a saucepan of boiling water on the hob!

rubbish!
Messy. Steam drips everywhere. Timer died after a couple of weeks. Drip tray discoloured after one use - steamed carrots. My Crazy Clarks steamer for $16.95 gave me 3 1/2 years of trouble free use but thought the GF would be an upgrade. Well no, tossing it and going back to Crazys!
Timer died. Messy. Stained after one use.

Update: The ink used to print the timer markings and logo is not water proof and has washed off (A little problematic). I have had to use a CD marker pen and a picture to redraw the timer markings!
e baskets and other plastic parts have discoloured in the dishwasher. (One more than others though that one may have been washed with curry leftovers.) The unit is still working okay after 5 months and it is being used nearly every day! So probably still worth $45.Th... Read more
