Is there a difference between the V Pink Blush and the V Ruby Sunset models? (apart from the color)

We can advise that the only difference between the V Gold stylers will be the colour, as they are both different limited edition models.



However, the technology with each styler will be the same.

I've only just bought the the platinum plus I week ago but the button to turn on dosnt always work and have to keep switching off at the plug and on again until it makes the noise and works, it flashes on when you first plug it in but won't turn on, is there something I'm doing wrong?

That’s very odd. I’ve never experienced this issue. What period of time passes when it’s sitting idle?? I suggest you take to back to where you purchased. Good luck - it really is a great straightener!

My ghd Platinum hair iron does not work in the UK (I Iive in USA) even though it shows 110-240 v. on appliance. Is there a switch to turn it over from 110 v. to 240v?

Rather than a switch, the ghd platinum features universal voltage and should work anywhere in the world when used with the appropriate adapter.

Hi, i only had my ghds for a yr and they started beeping red and not heating like the previous posts on here. My mum purchased them as a Xmas present and she has misplaced the receipt. What do I do?

Hi. My straighners are new & been working fine from end of July. After using them today it's got an alarm going & red light every 5 seconds & won't let me turn them on. I've tried unplugging,left unplugged for ages & nothing is working. They go straight back into the flashing red light & alarm mode. Any ideas?

I just bought a GHD curve wand creative curl and when I turn it on the sound is not the same as the usual start up tone of my other GHD soft curl tong. Is that right - has the turning on sound changed? thanks

We can confirm that the tone between the products should be very similar, if not the same.

I just bought a GHD Original Professional Styler, I turned it on and it heated up as normal but the red light keeps on flashing. This is the first time I got one myself and I'm not 100% sure it lf should be flashing all the time. Any help? Thanks x

Hi,
I’ve had my ghds for a few years now, they’re the scarlet edition (i believe) the red plated ones.
They have been working perfectly and I look after them so well! But this morning I went to turn them on and they beeped and turned off, and the same thing kept happening, so I had to use my mums (we all have a pair in my house!)
I haven’t dropped them or anything, it just sounds as if they’re struggling to turn themselves on,
Any ideas ??

I’d say it’s had it’s day. And you need to buy a new one.

I’ve asked everyone else I work with and no one else has had this problem so if they are still under warranty GHD will generally replace them with a new pair. If they are out of warranty and it’s just an electrical cord problem you could have that replaced at an electrical repairs place but if it’s an element issue you may have to throw them out.
All good if they are still under warranty though.

They usually flash until they reach the right temperature, then stop

Light flashes until reaches correct heat BUT if it keeps flashing/beeping/ wont heat, then contact GHD/Jamella.

I have a pair of GHDs which are about 13 years old, I’m guessing model 3.0 from the pictures. Do these have sleep mode/automatic switch off? I’ve gone away for the weekend and I probably turned them off but am worrying now as do it without thinking and can’t remember. They are face up but on carpet. If anyone can please let me know to put my mind at rest!
