BPA Gladwrap
When you try to pull the cling wrap out, about 2 cms of it gets caught on the edge -It's a bit like old stick tape that won't work properly. I've been patient but it's impossible to use. Will return to Woolies.
Purchased in March 2021 at Woolworths.

Multix Cling possibly the most annoying product in the world.
This film comes in a 300 meter roll that should last a year or so. But the minute you open the box the box breaks so that is an indication of where things are going. At this stage just go for a refund or chuck the whole thing in the rubbish. If you persist you will find that the film is more annoying than the box. You will be for ever trying to find the end of the film or throwing the whole thing around the kitchen depending on anger management skills. Steer clear of this if you want a happy life.
Purchased in December 2021 for $5.00.

Too Thin
I see that this wrap has been modified for the worse. Thinner and clings to itself. Maddening! Will go back to buying store brands again, which are still the original thickness and cost less.
Purchased in December 2021 for $1.00.

Wasted
Last 3 times buying this brand, thinking the first two were just faulty but seriously this brand is not worth your time or effort in trying to unwrap, it sticks and tears constantly. Definitely going back to no name brand, least it works, and cheaper.

Glad not to use it anymore
Expensive wrap just tears in the middle on the roll, the last 3 rolls I kept thinking bad batch but no. It seems too thin and each sheet is really stuck to the other

Cling wrap that won't cling
No matter what I use this stuff on it doesn't stick. Totally useless I'm returning it for a refund. "Cling" wrap is just false advertising. I only bought it because they didn't have Multix in stock.

Thicker would be a bit better
Glad wrap if so thin it tangles at one end so that you have to waste so much to get it to the right length again to cover food.
Thank you for changing the cutter, but it is now so thin. It is so frustrating to use.

before we got cheap and nasty
I used to hate it when my wife would say, can you please wrap this and put it in the fridge. The only redeeming feature was at least we used glad wrap and even I could manage to get it semi covered. But because like everything it's a race to see who can make and sell their product the cheapest. glad wrap has unfortunately gone the same way, the wrap it self has probably gotten thicker but at what expense. What glad don't seem to understand is that most people loved there product because the box was made from sturdy cardboard which was properly constructed and glued together and the serrated cutting edge was firmly attached. So the wrap maybe 2 microns thicker but the box and usability is now just as cheap as the rest.

One bad rap for Glad Wrap
Let me ask you something: does anyone remember the old Glad Wrap? The one with the high quality plastic that actually sealed stuff; the wrap that didn't give off an offensive chemical odour, leaving its lingering stench upon your food? Do something now! Go and take a whiff of that Glad Wrap you've got in your cupboard and then try to walk in a straight line. You can't, can you? Why? Because there are toxic chemicals surrounding that plastic that are mindbending, brain frying and sensory assaulting. Wrap a cheese sandwich in Glad Wrap and leave ...Read more
it in the fridge overnight. Open it up and try taking a bite out of it the next day. Taste funny? I'll bet you're thinking it tastes like chewing on Lego bricks, and let's face it, we have all chewed on Lego at one time or another. But we were kids then, and now we are adults. Yet, we can still remember what Lego tastes like, can't we. Well, that piece of cheddar comes mighty close. The thing is: you have done well just getting close enough to take a bite. The smell of the plastic has infused itself into the bread so nastily, that I'll bet you can't even get past the whiff test. Seriously! Glad Wrap stinks! If you cannot smell it, I suggest you get your nose cleaned out by a professional nasalologist if there is such a thing. Tell me something else; have you really successfully managed to use that serrated metal bar that tears the plastic? Well, it used to tear the old Glad Wrap fine, but I don't know about you, because every time I try to tear a strip off I end up with a big tangled mess of stinky plastic which I have to throw out. I buy the cheap crummy brand plastic wrap now. Can't tell the difference, only that it's a lot cheaper and doesn't smell anywhere near as bad.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
The change of location of the cutting strip
The metal cutting strip has been relocated from the top of the bottom section of the box to the bottom of the top section of the box. This has made it so difficult to use to get the optimum result that if it is not changed back I will change brandds

Were do we purchase 20cm Glad Wrap on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland ?
1 answer
I don't know. It might not be sold in that region. This new version is flimsy and inferior to the original so it would be wasting your money and time to buy it, anyway. Only thing I'm "GLAD" about is not spending more than the $1 when I purchased it here in Dallas, Texas at Dollar Tree.

I’m in Australia. Is glad cling wrap getting thinner or is it already thinner than one year ago.
