    This new gleamous water heater has been an absolute god-send.

    This unit has been an absolute god-send. We replaced a Hocking unit which was the same three phase 20 amps per phase supplied unit however the difference in control ability of the heat out is chalk and cheese. The Hocking was pressure sensitive and if we tried to cool down the heat of the shower the Hocking would then switch off leaving us with cold shower. This Gleamous unit keeps the temperature constant and provides an ideal shower without having to use the cold tap at all. I will do another review after having it through the winter. If we want hot water in the kitchen sink the Gleamous is easy to manually (touch button) able to provide up to 50celcius. Thankyou

    We purchased this hot water system to replace an existing tank. Our old tank was taking up so much space but this one fits into our kitchen cupboard. I actually was quite shocked that a unit of this size provides us with hot water to our bathroom, kitchen & laundry.

    Not hot enough

    Have to turn the flow to the lowest level possible to ensure I can get the temperature north of 40 degrees Celsius. If I have the shower on even close to max capacity, the temperature drops back to 25 degrees. Will look to replace in the next few months as its not sufficient for my needs.

    Internmittent fault

    I bought mine 2 years ago. Intermittently, it changes the output temperature or just doesn't work. Now it stopped all together. A repair would cost half of what I paid for it or more. Support sucks.

    terrible support (if at all) and stops working out of nowwhere

    i'm pretty satisfied with the performance until very recently where the unit stops working for no apparent reason and has happened 5 times in part 6 weeks. To get it working again, all it takes is just a push of a button and it starts performing normally. Happened today and just came back after doing that button thingy so i finally decided to sit back and write a review about it. Support is hopeless, called them and explained the problem 2 days ago and they said that someone will call me. No one called me and by that time the problem occured again.
    heats in a matter of 5-7 seconds to the desired temp.

    Difficult to answer. Not enough information. Do you live in a very cold area? How much lower is the output temperature than that selected?.
    Possible one of the phase elements is not working ???

    What about the water filter? I know that with the continuous flow gas hot water units you need to periodically clean the water inlet filter of debris that accumulates over time, otherwise it reduces the water flow. Apparently this can result in a lower performance and even stop the unit completely, if there is insufficient water flow.

    I haven't thought that through although i'm noticing this right now so probably need a cleanup at this stage. The problems i've experienced are more electrical problems and have been around since first 6 months and solves the problem after restarting the unit.
