A transparent review “Whole process” - Start to Maintenance
I would like to share our true and transparent building experience with Go Homes.
Start with consultant: My wife and myself are big window shoppers. Before starting this project, we chose Go Homes for two reasons, Inclusions and consultants. While shopping, we met different Go Home display home consultants with a tight borrowing capacity and mind full of doubts if we can build a house. Design Specialist from Harridale display homes. Though all the consultants were great, we choose Aaron as he showed a welcoming body language with always a smile on his face. He was all ears with our needs and showed us the piece of land that we loved at first sight. He was never pushy to sigh the contract. He took us to the main office and walked us through the inclusions and explained every question before we signed the contract. Truly speaking he was working with us for 3 weeks and gave us a perfect plan with all the inclusions that we wanted. During the plan finalizing process, he also helped to keep us in track to maintain our budget yet dint compromise in adding a bit of luxury on all essentials. Prestart: After signing, Shay Schofield from the Contracts team showed high professionality and kept us in constant update with preliminary plan process. During this process there were couple of confusions and even before I commented, Aaron (Consultant), quickly took the ownership of the errors and helped me not to stress and rectified the issue and made sure I was not out of pocket at any time. Before our prestart, Go Homes had set up a portal that virtually showed the picture of the house with the inclusion choice we made. We were given great variety of choices and had the opportunity to take a sample of the bricks, pavers, flooring's and blinds to think before our prestart. On our prestart day, Jenna True Prestart Consultant made everything possible to make us comfortable and helped us to choose the right choices. We were also introduced to EeVon Tan from the Intelligent Homes to plan our electrical. She was very patient, knowledgeable and gave us expert advice to choose the essential electrical requirements. Building: My building process started, and my slab went quick that I expected. On seeing our building going ups, the whole game of doubts and questions started for us as things looked very different from plan to actual reality. But I was very lucky to have Deborah Webster as my Construction Consultant and Rob as Site manager. During the construction process I wrote many emails quires and made phone calls to Deborah. She was excellent and responded to all my quires on a timely manner and with high level of professionality. During couple of occasions she also arranged meeting with the site manager to clarify my concerns and doubts. Handover: My handover was made just as promised. Rob was excellent to monitor and rectified most of the issues during the construction period and I was luck to have only minor issues to be rectified during my pre hand over inspection. Rob also took initiative to fix the minor errors very quickly and made everything possible to hand over the keys within a week.1 comment

Perfect Start!
We had such an easy time planning and bringing our creation to life with Tallal.
I would highly recommend Tallal. He’s super helpful and really puts your mind at ease to make the process as smooth as possible. He was really patient and flexible with our needs and timeframe.

We chose Go Homes because we loved one of their designs and fortunately the design was a display home so we were able to see exactly what we would be getting.

The build of our first home was done professionally and effectively. The workmanship was excellent. We had no issues with the build pre, post or during construction. Great service!
Our sales rep Mike was incredible in helping us build our ideal first home and we could not be more thankful for all his help. There were a few delays and disputes, but Mike and the team resolved them instantly. Katherine and Shaye in admin were tremendous from the get go in guiding us through the process.
The construction process was made easy thanks to Deb and our site supervisor Mark, who were both just sensational throughout the entire build. BAD: - It is not really bad for those only after low price but don't mind the options provided. You really don't have much choices for hardwares, almost everything cost extra. - This is the most important part, you need to be really really patient and forgiving between the period after you signed the contract and commence of your home construction. Things can be quite annoying. I mean, to be realistic, low cost doesn't always come with the best service, as long as the house is good to live in at the end.1 comment

This is amazing journey
This is our very first house and we were so worried because we have no idea how to deal with the building process. We are at the beginning of the building process and so far Tallal has made the experience easier than we expected. He has explained the process, answered all our questions and welcomed us for the many visits we paid him at the display home in Aveley. Tallal and I have measured rooms, looked at land, talked finances and discussed our new house at length, he has been patient, encouraging and has gone above and beyond to help us. We still have a way to go with the process but we're looking forward to the build and being able to live in our own home. Thanks Tallal!

I just finished building and we went through 20 different builders before building with go homes. From my point of view, they are all the same, they all offer the same, the winner is whoever you talk to initially and if you click with that person. Whatever you do though, make sure you get as many thoughts and details discussed and put in the contract prior to signing. We had 9 pages of items we wanted before we signed up written to go woth the drawings, they kept saying they will sort this out after we signed but we kept saying we wanted it done before. That saved us alot of trouble. Secondly, there are different levels of builders, eg, first home builders, gohomes, apg. The different tiers have more skilled labourers which gives a better job.

We have a 24 week Guaranteed Construction Timeline and approximately 18 weeks for Administration time.
We are a WA Owned company and we have many reputable partners in regards to quality materials such as Essastone (bench tops), Bertazzoni kitchen appliances, Brikmakers, BGC Steel, Fujistsu air-conditioning, Laminex, Trevors Carpets and more!
We also have a lifetime (25 year) structural guarantee.

A very good friend signed up with Go Homes in December 2017, although he has contacted the company on a number of occasions regarding the delay in starting construction, the standard answer has been that they are waiting on shire approval. This week (7 months after signing the build contract) The shire informed him that the building approval has been denied due to lack of information from the builder.
Understandably irate he rang to speak to some one in authority at Go Homes, and was informed by (a manager) that it was his fault (The client), as he needed to supply information that the shire needed, the information in question had been supplied and the manager was directed to the email supplied 6 months ago.
The Manager admitted they had the email and therefore the information required by the shire, but hadn't got to that email or supplied it as requested by the shire.
There was no apology or remorse on this total lack of professional conduct and when it was suggested that another builder should be engaged to complete the work, he was of course referred to the contract and told he couldn't break it.
What a joke.
I entirely agree with all this, as i himself had a terrible experience with Go Homes management, Manager himself was unbeleivably rude and unprofessional, i regretted signing the contract and buildung house with them, had gone through immense stress and when i suggested to change the builder they did the same thing with me and tried to threaten me to put a penalty of 20-30 thousand dollars, even their consultant was a big lier just wanted me to sign the contract and after that he did not even have time to pick the call, i suppose their will be many other builders better than Go Homes, cosidering the the stress i have gone through will never recommend anyone to choose Go Homes .
