I have completed a job for GoCatch and customer was happy to pay
The app does not work that time
And I am waiting for my payment for more than 15 days and no reply to emails even

On the 13th of June, I applied 4 x $20 vouchers to my account. I then took at 10 min trip in Melbourne and was charged $14.66. Clearly the vouchers were not honoured. I contacted customer service on the 17th of June. I received a response 10 days later to say they had credited my account even though I had asked them to credit my credit card. I responded saying that I would like them to follow my original instructions. On August the 20th they asked me to put my credit card details into the app so they could refund it later. I did. It is now end of October and 3 unanswered emails later and they have not done this.
Don't use a company that doesn't respect its customers.
I booked a taxi using the app at Brisbane airport. The guy called to say he would take a few minutes. A few minutes passed and he called again to ask where exactly i was going. He then said he was close and would call again.
I called him after 5 minutes more and his phone was disconnected.
I had to call an uber !
The next day I saw he charged my bank account.
I have been emailing their customer service a few times with no reply! I don’t know how to get my money back !
any suggestions pls?

The concern is also the fact that he let me wait for a long time, then didn’t show up, turned his phone on and charged me....

Booked a taxi via their app and was picked up as planned on 30th August 2018. Whilst I was waiting for the cab I got a phone call from GoCatch saying they had a problem with their GPS and could I pay the driver once I got to my destination. I wasn't quite sure what this meant so I agreed. I was then about to board my flight when I got a phone call from GoCatch asking why I cancelled the taxi, which I had clearly not!
They had actually sent a SECOND driver to pick me up and they charged me for it!! I have tried to explain via their suppor...

Please be advise that because of this situation we are unable to refund the no show fee to your account as the driver Bassam went to your pick up place. The muck up was their fault because they sent a second driver to pick me up but they refuse to refund me?? Seriously bad service and I will never use GoCatch again, Uber for me from now on. All my credit had been wiped off during June/July so I contacted GoCatch to sort this out. After so many emails and calls they did put back my original credit of $38.43 plus $25 credit of 'good gesture'.
However, when I checked my balance during September, it had gone back to $0.
So I contacted GoCatch again and asked to put back my credit. They are now saying that the credits expire within 30 days. I said I was never told about this expiry date and there were no terms and conditions on the email about this expiry date. They just ignored my e...
Word of advice to any body interested in signing up to drive with go catch . I’ve only have bad experiences with gocatch. The only reason I used it was because the cruise line offered a voucher which was a promotion. When I put in the code for a $100 voucher, the next day it was gone so we emailed the cruise line and we got it back. Luckily, on the day our driver was polite and actually came to pick us up. So I signed up to be a driver over a year ago, never finalised all the details, thought against becoming one.
Now a year later I'm constantly getting calls asking if I want to continue with my application, after the one time I did answer I told them very sternly that no I wasn't interested and to remove my details, as if I wanted to become a driver I would have continued my application a year ago!
Well, I didn't get a call for a day ... But lo and behold, again the calls started up again. I can't even block their calls as they come from a different mobile number each time, but all with the same roughly 6 number prefix.
Never even used their service and now never will.

Attempted to use this service 4 times on Saturday night. Each time our driver cancelled on us. Had $70 stolen out of our bank account. Have been trying to make contact with Gocatch but are constantly told there are no servers available. Today we were promised the money would be back in our accounts, however have not got 1c back. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY & will be sticking to Uber from now on.
I received a promotional offer from GoCatch promising a 50% discount if I ordered a cab with them before the 16th of July 2018 for a trip to/from the airport. I registered with them, signed in and used their app to book a cab to get to the Sydney Domestic Airport on the 13th of July, they processed my payment of the trip, but I never saw any sign of the 50% discount they advertised! It is impossible to reach them out over the phone and their online customer service replied to me that the offer ran until the 20th of June 2018.

I had got a voucher and wanted to use it still had to link my card up which I didnt mind cause if all went well then I would ride again! It deducted money from my bank account and the voucher?! Called up customer service and he wouldnt answer my questions! He would constantly say that it was a cancellation fee! He wouldnt let me talk to someone of high authority! I just want my money back! Worse app ever!

I had a first trip voucher if $20. I booked a trip which cost me $16 roughly which was debited of my account plus the voucher credit was deducted by the fare amount. Which means the trip that was supposed be free was not free.

Preordered maxi, driver msged during the night whether he was still needed but didnt say he wasnt driving a maxi. Standard taxi turned up so i cancelled. He still got a fare of someone else and i was still charged $30.
Made complaint 3 weeks ago, gocatch replied that investigation has been initiated but nothing from them since then.
I installed the app on my phone, it was useless, so removed it again. Since then I've been hassled with emails and call centre staff offering a massive $25 off the next ride if I put it back on. I wish I could get them to stop bugging me. I used Uber for a while, much better.

Pre ordered a car for 9:50 pm, it is now 10:12 pm and the driver has shown as 12 minutes away for the past 32 minutes. Tried ringing the driver and have been hung up on 3 times. Never again.

I keep getting phone calls & text messages from GoCatch about getting $20 off my next ride with GoCatch. I keep telling [name removed], [name removed] & [name removed] that I’m not interested. I asked them if their Cabs accept the Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) Concession Card and they said yes, but you still have to pay the FULL fair. They said they would refund half and add it to your Credit. That means that my Credit keeps on increasing and increasing but I always have to pay FULL fair so I never really get my Concession rates. That makes them Liars. When I catch a normal Taxi they only ever charge me half the fair, so why on earth would I ever choose Go-Catch and their ridiculous rip-off payment system?

No way to make a booking and apply voucher or pay with voucher given to me.
Service assistant advised to select CC and ensure to pay via App. Charged full fare.
When paying outside of App, CC still gets charged as well, so paying twice.
Was a much better service before in App CC details were required.
Effectively, cannot use now. Each time there is a double charge.
Unfortunate, as other features are good.

I asked GoCatch to remove all of my details from their system. Despite the reassurances I have received, I am still being emailed.
Before this, they called me and sent an SMS message. I once again said to not contact me.
I want nothing to do with GoCatch. Why is it so hard to delete people from your system and stop contacting them? This request has been made to customer support yet I am still being contacted. Other users are making similar complaints on OzBargain.
I would be VERY careful about giving information to them.
I'd recommend Uber, Ola and Taxify over this mob.

Cannot be bothered with this shady company that removed legitimate referral credit without warning. Much better and cheaper alternatives out there with lower wait times for drivers. Ola, Uber, Taxify, but not gocatch. Never again gocatch.

I've used GoCatch in the past and the experience with drivers is pretty much the same with competitor companies (eg. Uber) - simply because the driver is also a driver for those competitor companies. GoCatch boasts about not having surge pricing - but in the event when surge pricing occurs they're more expensive to use than Uber, however I've never needed to use Uber when their prices were surging. Likewise, you can't even see a fare calculation/estimate when using GoCatch.

All of my credits have been wiped and they didn’t inform me about that. I referred 2 friends to download the app and the referral credits also were removed. I emailed them to delete my account from their system and I doubt that they do. Stay away from them!!! Scam! Lie!
