great for wriggly babies
I needed something to contain my baby and keep him covered while he cracked laps around the cot. Sheets and blankets seemed unsafe for this kind of baby. The grobag is a safe option to keep him warm. There is a suitable amount of different weights for different season, with a handy room thermometer which is pretty accurate (unless we get a stinker of a day about 27degrees!)
I found there is inconstancy between the designs as to whether they have a zip up the middle or poppers at the top. Personally, I find the zipper up the middle is a littl...Read more

OK
Overall I was not happy with such a high fire danger in todays living when there have been so many house fires it may just be the thing to save your babies life. Othere than that a bit expensive but baby doesn't seem to mind the comfort aspect.
Bright colours, good sizing ratings and different amount of wadding for tog levels and weather.
The bright red high fire danger tag on this grabbed my attention straight away when we opened this as a gift. I found that they were expensive and this brand tends to need a grobag for every season, whereas other brands tell you to dress your child differently under the same bag so then you are not having to buy 4 expensive bags.

These bags are high quality and I like the fact you can get them with poppers on the shoulders. This makes it easier to put baby in if they fall asleep before you put them in the grobag (whoops!) The patterns are pretty but a few more unisex designs would be good! Everything is pink for girls or trains for boys!!
The concept is great - so much easier than tucking blankets in around an active baby. The use guide that tells you how to dress baby in different clothes and bags at different temperatures is really useful.
I don't like the one that zips up the front - the zip is awkward to do up and bunches under babys' chin

So easy to get piece of mind when your child is sleeping
I love grobags! I used these with me first son from the moment he was big enough. The press studs on the 0-6 month bags give you the piece of mind that your child isn't going to sink into the bag. The bags always kept my son warm enough and I never had to worry about loose sheets.
No loose sheets in babies bed
Quite expensive, but worth it

I love these bags, I tried a different version and it just didn't fit the same so I kept checking bub! When they are asleep you want peace of mind so don't worry about the price, you can get good deals on line. I can wash and dry mine in the space of 1hr and have it back on the bed. Getting the travel fitting is handy for when you are travelling in sleep times or moving bub from port a cot out, to car, to cot at home.
Safe, easy to wash and dry

I love growbags and started off with a few other brands but found growbags to be so much more superior I haven't bought anything else since. Toddler loves them and they are a cue for bedtime. Don't have to worry about bedding falling off overnight. Most definately recommend!
*Excellent quality - sewing, zips, press studs, zip guards for older children.
*Great range of prints and colours.
*Either choose from travel style or zip around the bottom style.
*Mine have washed pretty well and worn daily, other brands I found stitching coming undone ...Read more

This is a great product to invest in for anyone who values their sleep. Because baby is kept warm at night, that is one less reason for them waking up.
Great for keeping baby warm at night, because he can't kick it off. The fabric inside is nice and soft, so I can just dress him in a nappy and grobag at night and he is very comfortable. It is also very easy to do nappy changes in the night with a zip running down the middle.
This grobag is possibly a little bit expensive - some other brands seem to be just as good quality, but two-thirds of the price.

Good
Some of the designs are very beautiful and the item is well made and fits snugly but as I received it as a gift I am not sure whether I would pay so much for them as my baby grows. There are Australian sleeping bags which are similar (Grobag is a UK company but they are made in China, not sure where the Australian ones are made) but they are similar in price.
- my baby moves about the cot when asleep and this keeps him nice and warm without the risk of suffocation
- easy to get on and off
- hidden zipper
- great designs
- baby knows it's time for bed when he sees it!
- cost

The grobag has been fantastic for my baby and we have three now in the house for warmer or cooler weather. The grobags are long so the baby is very comfortable in them whatever the size.
Keeps baby warm but not hot in summer depending on the tog ranking you buy. Ensures that baby does not become cold during the night like with blankets where they can come off. Come in a variety of patterns and colours for boys or girls. The fabric feels very good quality and they wash really well, retaining their shape and colours.
The price. The grobags can be expensive but you can pick them up on sale and because of the quality they will definitely last more than one baby.

Very good idea and lovely quality garment. A little pricey though. Overall they enable bub to kepe warm during those night time feeds, and of course they lead to a better nights sleep for baby as no covers are being kicked off which wakes baby up due to being cold.
Very stylish and easy to use. They are of excellent quality and will last and last. I am now using mine for my third bub and they are still in great condition.
The cost. I think they are a little too expensive for what they are, but they do last and last. Luckily I bought mine about 9 years ago, and I am shocked at the price they are now compared to then.

I went from swaddling my daughter, straight to the grobags. They are so much easier, and safer than blankets. Plus using the TOGS makes keeping baby at the perfect temperature so much easier! I never worry if she is to hot, or to cold anymore. She can wriggle around her cot, without kicking of blankets. They come is such pretty patterns, and are great quality, they will last the length of more than one baby! I will continue to use grobags until my daughter doesn't need them anymore. They are expensive, but very much worth it, but I recommend to shop around, get them on sale!
So easy to use, keep baby at perfect temperature, super cute patterns, fantastic quality

Wonderful sleeping bags. I have two that were brand new, and was also given a couple as hand me downs - the second hand ones had been used for 3 babies before I was given them, and they are still as good as new. They are expensive to buy upfront, but they last and last, and you can get a good price for them if you choose to resell them (ie; Ebay) If you are having a baby shower, they are a great item to put on your wishlist, as they are very, very handy.
High quality sleeping bag, very well made and keep baby nice and warm. Helps baby sleep through the night as bubs can't kick off the blankets and get cold (as my baby used to do)
yes, the price, BUT they do last a very long time, and will last through more than one baby

The grobag sleeping bags have been very popular in our house and we have already gotten a lot of use out of them with just one baby. I like that you can get them in different degrees of warmness and you can then use them in summer or the colder months. While they do cost a bit to buy initially they are made of good quality materials and wash like new so they can definitely be used for other siblings as they come along. Worth the investment, keeps baby warm and snug and also help to avoid too much moving around in the cot.
Great quality, worth the money.

This is a brilliant product, excellent quality and a lovely range of designs. The travel version is great for going out as it allows you to put bub in the stroller/car seat without removing the sleeping bag. Don't mind paying the price for such a good quality product. Unlike some other bags, grobags don't have sleeves so you don't need to worry so much about bub overheating if the room gets a bit warm.
Keeps bub warm without restricting their movement. Range of thicknesses (tog rating) for different temperatures.
Expensive, but very good qualit...Read more

My daughter really likes to thrash and roam around in her cot and was always waking up cold because she had kicked off the covers. She is now sleeping much easier, plus it is much easier to put her down while she is sleeping if she is already in her sleeping bag.
Great quality, have tried a few different kinds of bags, but find that grobags are the easiest to wash, can be tumble dried and are of the best quality. Also really cute patterns as well.
Are expensive, but can be picked up on sale, are high fire danger. Am having a little trouble with one of the zips on the bags as they can be difficult to do up.

I bought several of these second hand which was great as I always had a clean one on hand. If I had bought them all new I would be way out of pocket. Getting them second hand did mean I often sent my boy to daycare with a pink gingham Grobag but he didn't mind a bit. They are great for signaling sleep time for naps and night time which is also great if you need to travel or take bubs to day care as they have the same signal where ever they go. They are excellent in winter to keep bubs warm all night long and also good for the transition from sw...Read more
addling to no swaddling. I highly recommend these sleeping bags but must admit that I could not have afforded them if I was buying them new. Grobags are a great way to keep bubs covered and at the right temperature all night. They helped with allowing my bub to have safe and uninterrupted sleep once he was old enough to sleep through the night. They are expensive but they are well made and as such can be found in great condition second hand if you look around.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

This is such a great baby product. We have 3 and my bubs sleeps in one every night. Bubs moves around quite a bit in her cot but is always covered at night and sleeps soundly.
Stops bubs from kicking off the covers!!! Well made with quality fabrics. Many designs, so you can choose one to suit you - you have have the zip at the front or the side, you can choose to have press studs at the shoulder or not. Makes it easy to get bubs in and out at night. Recommended by SIDS.
Comes in so many fun prints!
Expensive, but you get what you pay for. It really is well made.

Great for keeping bub warm, especially the wriggly ones that kick their blankets off. Safe for bub too, no blankets over bubs face.

I would recommend grobags to everyone but I think generally they are not suited to newborns who still need to be wrapped tightly, but for older babies they are fab!!!! They are expensive but well worth the money and I have never worn one out yet. My son is 20 months old and has just gone into the bigger one and will continue to stay in it for a while. He can still walk around in the grobag so no that he is in a big boys bed there is no danger that he will get out of bed and trip over.
Love love love our grobags. We have one for each season as w...Read more

I also received one as a gift and am also concerned about the bright red tag - made of cotton & polyester so it is flammable & will also stick to the baby.. Not sure if I will use yet...
